"Anywhere and Everywhere at once." Quipped Nadiya back with a wide grin to her sister. It was super exciting to be in Belrea already but to see a festival like this had truly excited the petite Matori woman. Everything just felt so alive! There were smells of food floating from the merchants farther away while cheers would erupt at random from games decorating the walkways lit by lantern light. Melodies also floated along the breeze as performers danced and played their music in hope of attracting attention and coin on such a busy night. It was the strange orange things that caught Nadiya's attention the most. She had seen them once or twice in her travels, but never so many! And all the gaeins bringing them around seemed to also have people carving them into faces that stared at those passing along the streets.
"Well, we need energy right?" Nadiya winked towards Neryssa, "We should grab something from the vendors and then go explore more. We could even have a fun competition at the game booths! And I would love to get one of those masks that I see a lot of people wearing!" They only covered half the face, but had some interesting designs! Some had feathers, others had elegant lines, while some even mimicked snarling creatures. How fun!
