The aftermath of the whole mirror ordeal had left Melody with some things to think about. While there hadn't been much one could do she certainly felt as if she had not done nearly enough. She'd been unable to protect those in her care from harm and she wasn't sure if it was just in such that her power couldn't do much or because she, herself, wasn't strong enough.

These thoughts didn't plague her much over the course of her days, her usual activities and the hyper active cat that was Itsuki didn't often leave her much time to dwell on such thoughts. Patrols by herself, however, gave her plenty of time to dwell on it. Which is how she ended up here, just sort of milling about and using her phone to scan for any sort of signatures. She was hoping for a quiet night, even if a fight would likely keep her busy.

The nudge against her leg made the senshi in pink jump, almost dropping her phone in the process. Thankfully she'd managed to keep it from falling (what would she have told Itsuki had it broken?) as brown eyes searched out the source of fluff that had brushed her legs. Seeing a friendly cat, who was talking to her, she relaxed a little and smiled.

"It's a pleasure to meet you Julienne. My name is Lacrimosa~" A small nod in greeting before she tucked her phone away and moved to kneel closer to the cat. She rather hated the feeling of talking down to the guardian cats, who deserved much respect she felt.

"As for my thoughts... Well..." A small frown appeared briefly before her usual sweet smile replaced it once more. "It's nothing much. Just some reflecting on things I failed to do last time I had some people in my care."

Hesitantly a hand reached out, silently asking if it was okay to pet the cat. "Nothing to worry your sweet little head over."

Lacrimosa's heart melted a little when the cat rubbed up against her hand, and she had to resist scooping up the cat to love on her a little. Why did guardian cats have to be so adorably precious? First Itsuki and now this little one.

"A gift?" she echoed curiously, watching Julienne a moment before she smiled. "I don't know if I deserve one but..." But if it could help protect others then there was no way she would turn down that chance. She may not have had much regards for her own safety but there were so many she wanted to protect and she was tired of not having the power to do so.

Determination steeled her eyes a moment as she smiled down to the guardian cat, hand held out to show her pen settled in the palm of her glove covered hand.

"I want to continue to grow and become someone who can better protect those who can't protect themselves. Who are too new or just can't fight because this war is a scary thing. I want to be more."

Maybe not both at the same time but she could, and would, do both. Once she got over hearing the praise from cat. They'd only just met and she thought so highly of the pink-clad senshi...

Never mind that Julienne was amazing in her own right. Capable of awakening and upgrading senshi. Of creating items out of seemingly nothing, even upgrading those items! Guardian cats were simply amazing.

As Lacrimosa took her pen once more, she gave a soft brush of fingers to Julienne's cheek before she stepped away. "You're just as great as I am, you know~ This wouldn't have been possible without you."

A sweet smile to the Siberian before she held up the new pen and, in a clear voice, called out "Lacrimosa Asteroid Power, Make-Up!"

Power wrapped around her, changed and altered her fuku like she was changing all over again. When the lights and power faded, Super Sailor Lacrimosa stood, glancing over the changes. It hadn't been anything drastic, more fabric, more frills... Heels even! That was going to be new to get used to.

Was her butt bow bigger too?

After a playful little twirl Lacrimosa moved to scoop up the small cat so she could pet her better. Though she seemed to think better of it before actually lifting her, kneeling down instead to run a gloved hand down her back.

"Thank you so very much Julienne."
