= Rules = Please read ALL of the rules before beginning!
Do not delete posts. If you mess up on your roll, make a note of it and roll again. If I catch you deleting posts, you will be disqualified. You can only win one freebie Soquili and one freebie Familiar during the event. You may co-own a Soquili prize, but the prize will count as both your and your co-owner's Soquili freebie for the event. You may gift a specific person your prize, but the prize will count as both your and the other person's Soquili or Familiar freebie for the event. You can attempt as many times as you want until you complete an adventure without running out of breath, and are thus "successful". There are no sign-ups, you can join any time you want. If you run out of breath, your adventure ends early, and considered "unsuccessful". Unsuccessful adventures will not be considered for the first and second prizes, but will be included in the list for the raffle. No proxies allowed for this one, sorry! You can only win one prize from this game. Third prize will be raffled off among the rest who participated. Everyone who makes at least one complete attempt (whether they made it to the end or ran out of breath) will get one ticket in this raffle. Please roleplay this CYOA. Each post/roll should have a short blurb of RP that relates to what happens in that roll. Doesn't have to be much. You can edit in your RP later, but any attempts that do not have RP for each roll will be considered "incomplete." Any incomplete attempts will not be counted. This includes non or partially RP'd attempts, and unfinished adventures.

= Adventure =
Start at Stage one, rolling a 1d4. When you find out what you rolled, check here to see what happens. Add or subtract your score/breath as it asks you to. Treasure + fun increase your score. Injury + fear decrease your breath. Sometimes you will find air pockets or opportunities to regain some breath. Nothing will decrease your score. If you are told to move on to the next stage, you MUST move on. Likewise, you cannot move on until you get that specific roll.
Your goal is to get the "Adventure Complete" roll in the last stage. Please remember to roleplay each roll you make. It doesn't have to be long! Just a short blurb about what happened in your roll. Remember this is told from the point of view of an air-breathing Soquili. You've heard tell of a certain underwater village that makes sacrifices to some sort of fearsome denizen. Curiously, and perhaps foolishly, you head down to get a closer look at the area. Maybe find this cave in the rumors!
Stage 1: Pleasant Shallows You wade around the shallows, starting your adventure out somewhere easy and carefree.Roll 1d41 - You come across someone's lost jewelry! Welp, finders keepers! +1 Score 2 - You stub your hoof on some rough coral. -1 Breath 3 - You find a small tunnel that opens up into a trench! Move on to the next round! 4 - You make friends with some sea otters in a kelp forest, but get tangled up for a bit. +1 Score, -1 to Breath
Stage 2: Rocky Trench You find your way into a deep trench, small tunnels offshoot on either side. You can't see the bottom...Roll 1d41 - You make your way back up to the surface for a quick breather before heading back down. +2 Breath 2 - You find a drop-off leading deeper and spy a cave in the distance! Move on to the next round! 3 - Something glinting catches your eye...it's an ancient coin! +2 score 4 - You round a corner and come face to face with a giant sea turtle! It startles you, but leaves you in awe. -2 Breath +3 score
Stage 3: Eerie Cave You approach the cave described in the rumors. Having found no sight of the village they spoke of, you wonder if you're even in the right place. Well...worth a look around...Roll 1d61 - You peer into a small tunnel and suddenly, out comes a school of fish! It spooks you pretty bad. -2 Breath 2 - You wander some ancient ruins just inside cave, and find a small statuette that's fairly intact! +3 Score 3 - You find an air pocket within the cave! +4 Breath 4 - Uh oh! You run into a not-so-friendly shark! ...Or you hope it's just a shark... You hustle to get away, without looking back! -4 Breath 5 - You find an air vent and play around with the bubbles for a moment before moving on! +1 Score +2 Breath 6 - You spy the sacrificial altar! *shudder* You think you've gone far enough as you start to hear something spooky, much deeper inside. +10 Score + Adventure Complete!

Nerites was moving around the shallows, rather uncomfortable about being so close to shore but then found some sea otters to play with. However he got a little tangled in some of the kelp.

Having freed himself he moved towards the depths a little and found a small tunnel! Victory!

Swimming through the trench he rounded a spot and almost collided with a sea turtle. This startled him just a little bit, but other than that the moment wasn't all too bad.

Deciding to go towards the surface he took a breath and looked around and then moved back towards deeper waters.

It would seem he was meant to keep running into these sea turtles. Giving a small shake of his head he watched as it swam away.

As he looked around it would seem his efforts were fruitful. He found a spot that lead down deeper. Finally, getting somewhere.
