Although the room is noticeably a bit smaller than any of the lieutenants', it's immediately clear that Sergeant Lorata Gorgos has made the most of the space she's been given. Her desk of course takes up most of the room, already covered in stacks of paperwork. There's a cup filled entirely with pens in her blood color, some even looking more like glittery gel pens. There are three mixed in that stand out simply for their familiar shades of yellow, teal, and green. Beside it is a very official stamping set and a small makeup compact.
There's a shelf on the wall above the seadweller's head, with a plushie of her lusus sitting dead center and oddly reminiscent to anyone who's known her a while of the way the jellyfish used to loom behind her so often. Alongside it are ornately framed pictures of herself and the Sirens and a few stacked books of what appear to be varying titles of military history and fantasy novels. On top of the stack of books, watching you knowingly with a bobbing head, is the Captain. The posters tacked to the wall are largely of the SHEshells and JROTC advertisements, though one boasts her slogan 'Alternia Needs Heroes' in large and bold lettering.
The best part of the office, though, is that she has somehow managed to find an actually comfortable chair for you to sit in while you're here.
If this is your first time visiting:
"Oh hello! Come in, take a seat!" Lorata beams at you from behind the desk, putting down her pen and sliding the paperwork she'd been working on a little to the side to focus entirely on you. Maybe focus a little too much on you, the way she's squinting at your face. "Have you come to make a report? Or ask for a recruitment? Or is this some other kind of hero business?" She keeps going without waiting for an answer, already delighted with an imagined response you haven't given yet.
"I can tell we're going to work very well together! You won't let Scorpa and I down, will you?" She laughs. "Of course you won't."
As you begin to leave afterwards, you realize there's a hanging folder on the back of the door full of JROTC pamphlets. The seadweller makes some very disappointed and potentially vaguely threatening comments if you don't take one on the way out.
