Alone again, staring at a wall. Not even her familiars could lift her mood. She had been like this so often and it was just wearing on her. The hybrid curled into herself, pulling her blanket over her head. The embrace was nice and soft but it did little to comfort her. She had been thinking, what did she want to do with her life? She couldn't handle this. What was she going to do with herself once school was over? She didn't want to think about it but as she tried to get her mind to wonder, those thoughts came right back.

She didn't feel the same after the school trip into the woods. The thought of being trapped was always present in the back of her mind. Even when she took care of Yuta, she could still feel the fear that she felt during that trip. Yuta took well to the school when he was allowed to attend, but Harley remained scarred from the experience.

"Ok.... Ok..." She whispered to herself, rolling onto her side and grabbing her phone. Just one step at a time. She told herself as she tried to will herself from beneath her blankets.

But she couldn't do it. Hot tears rolled over her cheeks. She was upset with herself for crying over this again. "Maybe I just can't do it..." She whispered again, staring blankly at her phone forgetting what she was going to do. She slowly ran a finger over her necklace and sighed. Being in school wasn't benefiting her. It wasn't healthy for her. She was always stressed and depressed and she didn't know what to do with herself. Harley took a deep, slow breath. She knew that to feel better, she had to drop out and hopefully things would be ok.

"Ok.... Ok..." She whispered to herself, rolling onto her side and grabbing her phone. Just one step at a time. She told herself as she tried to will herself from beneath her blankets.

But she couldn't do it. Hot tears rolled over her cheeks. She was upset with herself for crying over this again. "Maybe I'm just not ready..." She whispered again, staring blankly at her phone forgetting what she was going to do. She slowly ran a finger over her necklace and sighed. She wasn't ready for college now, she wasn't really sure what she was ready, and that was ok. She just needed more time to figure herself out away from the stress of school.
