Sylvia tried to keep her cool, almost icy exterior up, but her inner fey was simply fluttering with excitement. She caught herself fluttering her wings sometimes and had to force herself to stop, blushing profusely in the process. She needed to get a hold of herself, she would die if she accidentally let her wings flutter during a lecture of all things. In front of students? Oh no no no. But, she still had Legion on her mind... He... he was a good guy, a strong, tall, handsome guy... but also a problem kind of guy. He was one of those "bad boys" every fey parent tells their little winged daydreams to avoid. And Sylvia did try and avoid thoughts of Legion, but they kept sneaking back in, making her blush all the more.
She furrowed her brow, and tried to have a reasonable conversation with her own brain.
"Sylvia! You've worked so hard and have become so successful! Don't throw it all out for some guy!" But part of her talked back, quietly, convincingly,
"He has hope tho, Legion. Hes like a diamond in the rough. Tall, handsome and rough." She blushed at that last thought.
Sylvia shook her head, her reasonable voice coming back louder.
"You don't need to consort with someone like him! Your better than that! Besides! Hes one of those "bad boys"! He would never want to just be with you!" That last thought made Sylvia a little sad, and her quite voice gave that sadness a second to soak in before it responded.
"He needs a reason to become responsible, to become a better person..." She frowned at that true fact, and the voice found its hook.
"And besides... haven't you been thinking about children a lot recently? That would be a hook, one that would tie him to you forever." Sylvia blushed at that thought. It was a
bad thought, a manipulative one, but also, it felt good. Legion could be
hers, with children he
had to be with her. Besides, having a stone with someone wasn't that big of a deal to ask about, Legion definitely had... traits... she admired. He would be a good nightmare to mix genes with, right? And a maybe they could mix a little something else too...
