Physical Description: Taieni is short and slender with skin tanned from being outside so often. She has blonde hair that she keeps in braids to keep it out of her way. Her eyes are green. Her favorite colors to wear are red and brown, and she prefers shorts to long pants. ....also she likes belts.
Personality: Taieni is a no holds barred kind of woman. She has a tendency to be blunt and is unapologetic about it. She's nosy and has no problem asking questions that might be personal, but she also has no problem being told to mind her own business. She loves to laugh and loves to hang out with her friends. She would die to protect the ones she cares about and to protect her and Ryneth's home. Despite her love of enjoying herself, Taieni will never balk at her responsibilities. On the surface, she's made of steel and nothing bothers her. But beneath this exterior is a vulnerable core that she's never let anyone see. Well, anyone except Ryneth.

History: Born in a small hold under High Reaches' protection, Taieni was always underfoot. She wanted to see what was going on and know everything that was happening. She knew who her parents were, but never really knew them as people. The product of a one night stand, Taieni was an unwelcome surprise to her mother so instead of keeping her Taieni was sent to the creche and grew up in the midst of everything. Which suited her just fine. She never felt the compulsion to learn one single craft, so instead she learned a little about a lot of crafts from anyone she could get to teach her. She was Searched at the age of fourteen, and was eager to go and learn about dragons. She continued her tendency to be underfoot and to learn everything she possibly could from everyone around her. Taieni was a candidate for six turns before finding the one being she would spend the rest of her life with. Such a tiny woman Impressing a large brown sparked some curiousity and little derision, but Taieni faced it all with a grin and made sure that Ryneth knew there was absolutely nothing wrong with him and he was perfect. She's always been proud of her darling Ryneth and would never do anything to hurt him. A couple Turns after she Impressed Ryneth, the pair left High Reaches to see what else there was in the world. They were happy as rogues, making marks where they could with Taieni as a jack-of-all-trades. But when Thread returned they knew they needed to go back home and fulfill their duty to their home Weyr.

Physical Description: This large brown is a a medium hue with darker stripes reminiscent of a tiger. His neck and limbs are thick with (mostly) muscle.
Personality: A softer personality than his rider, Ryneth is quiet and usually keeps to himself aside from his few friends. He knows they are duty-bound to their Weyr and would not risk leaving even if Taieni were thinking of doing so, despite his preference of being on his own with his rider. He tends to stay back and observe instead of charging in half-cocked. He is kind to everyone he meets, though perhaps not overly friendly. He'd rather make friends than make enemies and what better way to do that than by being kind? When he loves, it is fiercely. When he is stirred to fight, as for Threadfall, he fights fiercely and will do everything in his power to protect their home. He enjoys the flights of golds and greens but as yet has not settled down and isn't likely to, much like his rider. He is known to be affectionate after victorious flights but no one's ever caught his attention for longer than that. He tends to let the world go on around him, content to watch the goings-on. He isn't the kind to fight for himself, as words are simply noises he can filter out. Taieni assures him daily he is perfect, so anything else doesn't even c***k his armor. He is a possessive dragon: of his rider and their time together, and if there does come to be someone who captures his heart he would be possessive of them, too.
