( Anyone is welcome to join! )
Oberon knew that it was probably a bad idea to get near the mirrors. He wasn’t at the Surrounding when that mess happened and the Dark Mirror Court was born, but his brothers had been, and he’d learned plenty through the experiences and eyewitness accounts of others.
He knew this, but he was also prone to being drawn to dangerous things.
No, looking for youma was not the safest thing to do, which was why he’d convinced a few of his friends to meet him in the park. They might not have known the idea was to help him look for youma to study, but that didn’t matter.
Because before he knew it, the mirror that they’d uncovered behind a bush in the park started to ripple and warp and suddenly he was being sucked into it!
“Is everyone okay?” he asked, pushing himself up and dusting off his knees and arms from winding up on the ground. He didn’t bother asking why there was a mirror in the park in the first place. It had clearly been put there by a Dark Mirror Senshi. Bastards.

Briar had readily agreed when Peter had asked him to give him a hand with some research.
It wasn't the first time that his friend had asked - it actually had kind of come up when the two of them had met by chance at a softball match with all the cats that had taken place back on the 4th July.
Well at least Peter had kind of mentioned that he was researching stuff, although he hadn't gone into any detail which was hardly surprising since neither of them had been powered up at the time–
And whilst he hadn't specifically known that he was in effect signing up for youma research, he had dutifully sneaked out and powered up, before heading to the park to meet up with Oberon, Chara and Skadi.
And he'd thought to bring along a notepad and a pen hanging from a key chain that he had clipped to the cord that ran through the ring of keys on his senshi outfit.
Getting sucked through a mirror hadn't exactly been on his list of things to do, but Oort had tried to make a grab for Oberon as the other got pulled into the mirror that they'd found behind the bush and had ended up being sucked through himself.
He nodded in answer to Oberon's question as he picked himself up from where he'd ended up sprawled on the ground of wherever...
Wherever here was.
"I'm okay" he said, although his voice was a little distracted.

"Fuuuuuuuuck...." Chara groaned softly after having landed face first on the ground. Why had he decided it would be a good idea to follow Oberon on this terribly dangerous adventure? He couldn't just wander around any more these days... He had his job to worry about, as well as school, and unlike Oberon, he wasn't a natural genius at anything; he was working his a** off to keep his scholarship so far and his skinny little a** was more tired than he could ever remember in his life being. And yet he still decided to come, because even HE couldn't ignore the fact that people were missing left and right.
It was as if the moment that he decided to be helpful and spend his night working with Oberon and the others (which he somehow *knew* was going to result in some ******** youma hunting, but he loved the boy enough to entertain him), the world decided to ******** over the boy even more than he already was and sucked him right into a mirror.
"No, I'm not ******** fine, but I'm used to it." He muttered, standing up then going to see if the others were alright... ********, he could have picked up another shift but nooo, here he was, trapped in a mirror. At least he knew where his friends were, he supposed. Had Oberon and Oort suddenly gone missing... That would have been way worse.
"So tell me, what the ******** just happened...? Where are we?"

When Oberon had asked Skadi to go on an adventure, there was no way the young girl was going to say no. First of all, it was Oberon and she'd like, probably never say no to him (not that she would ever tell him that, obviously). Second of all, who could say no to adventure?! Skadi was so excited that she didn't even bother asking what they were doing! She was following close behind her friends (and someone new!!! how exciting!!!) and trying to peer over a shoulder on her tip-toes when they'd uncovered a hidden mirror. Suddenly she was being sucked into it's strange surface and dumped on a cold, hard floor. She remained in a lump on the ground for a moment while she tried to get her bearings straight, blinking a few times. The breath she didn't realize she was holding was let out when she heard Oberon's voice. One hand reached up to rub at the back of her head before she moved to push herself up off the ground. Her heels clicked on the floors as she took a few steps to figure out where exactly they were- but nothing gave anything away. There was, quite literally, nothing there except for them, white walls, and a weird smokey substance. She spun, her head tilted back and her gaze moving upwards. "What is this place?," she asked without answering Oberon's question. "Did we just go.. like... in that mirror?," she responded to Chara's prompt about what had happened. This was so, so weird.

”Everyone have all their fingers and toes? No one’s clothes is turning black?” he asked, looking from Oort to Chara to Skadi to make sure they really were okay and didn’t need a hand getting to their feet. “Sorry guys. That was my fault. I try to avoid those mirrors. I didn’t realize one had been placed near that bush.”
It was super dangerous to go near them, because while the few Dark Mirror Senshi he’d crossed paths with were okay and didn’t seem that intent with throwing people through mirrors, he knew that was still very much a possibility.
“Oort’s starseed is probably immune, but the rest of us should probably keep an eye out for anything weird,” he suggested, and then drew in a deep breath to let out slowly, trying to keep himself focused. It was a good thing that he didn’t feel like he was being corrupted. He’d never actually had the experience of having his starseed messed with, but he knew plenty of others had, and he glanced cautiously from Chara to Skadi, and then reached down to dig through the pockets of his cargo shorts.
“Oort, want to try to contact Tomlin? He might know a way to get us out. I’ve got some chocolate and a little bit of water, but we should save it as long as we can, but if anyone needs it,” he offered, showing the small water bottle he kept in his pocket, along with the bar of chocolate.
“Well, this sucks,” he groaned, moving over to the walls to wave the back of his hand in front of it, without touching it, trying to feel if it was maybe electrified or too hot to touch. When it didn’t seem like that, he brushed the wall with his fingers, and then knocked against it with his knuckles, trying to hear how solid it was.
“Do you think it might be possible these walls are thin enough to bust through? Don’t actually try to kick through it, Chara…” he warned, knowing the other teen was prone to jumping into things.
“Skadi, have you ever gone to your homeworld? Maybe we can get out by going there. Want to see if holding down the home button on your phone works? If you disappear just come back then we can all get out.”
Hey, he was trying, but it didn’t look like there was a way out. He just didn’t want to scare the others with his own dark thoughts of why they were there and what would probably happen to them.

It wasn't like Vi to get distracted, it really wasn't. Well, at least not for terribly long... but when his newest, and only buddy had stopped a chain of texts they'd been shooting off back and forth to one another, the aimlessly wandering youth had his attention more on his phone screen than what was around him. And to no surprise it ended up being quite the issue... For when he was waltzing along the sidewalk, staring intently at his screen, eagerly hoping to hear the little chime that a message had been received, a nearby cars side mirror took the opportunity to suck him right in.
He'd given a little yelp as he'd been abducted by the reflective surface, stumbling as he was transported to some other... dimension? catching his footing, his phone was clutched to his chest, silver eyes quickly snapping around to access his surroundings.
Where was he... what was this... what had happened?
Shoot, was this something to do with the whole powered world? But no impending doom seemed to be looming about. No youma or anything! In fact... there were other people! And... Senshi, by the looks of it?? Checking his phone again, seeing there was still no response from his pal, the gadget was tucked away into his tiny shorts pocket. With a soft sigh, he tried to keep his mind from getting ahead of itself. First, get information. Maybe the other people here knew what was up.
With his sweet, trademark smile in place, the sunshine child made his way over to a gaggle of people that'd gathered together, waving as he broached them. "Hello everyone. Seems we're in quite the predicament." he tried to keep things light, "Anyone know what's going on here?"

Oort wasn't sure what being dragged into a strange mirror had to do with clothes turning black, but he didn't feel any different.
He didn't think he looked any different either, at least not if the surreptitious glance that he gave his clothes was anything to go by.
He nodded at Oberon's suggestion that he try to contact Tomlin as Chara vocally expressed his opinion about the situation.
"On it" he said and whilst Chara's words pretty much summed up the whole situation, a part of Oort couldn't help but feel glad that he'd sneaked out to help Oberon with his research–
Because whilst being trapped in wherever here was serious crappy, it would have been so much worse if his friends had upped and suddenly disappeared without warning.
He tapped out messages to Tomlin and to Euporie, because he didn't want his tree climbing buddy and senshi partner to end up getting trapped like he was - and figured he should warn her about strange mirrors–
Well at the very least he tried to, but it didn't seem to working right and after a few moments of trying Oort finallyy turned to Oberon with the intention of letting his friend know that there seemed to be something up with his phone...
Well that was the intention right up until the point when reddish eyes landed on a new person in the room - one who hadn't been there a few moments ago.

"Nah, don't feel bad, Oberon. You can't predict what happens, no one here is psychic so I'll give you a pass. My clothes are as ******** ugly as ever though. I'm down a total of one finger, if missing two halves counts." Once standing, Chara gave a quick glance about the room, sending a cheeky grin Oberon's way before looking at the others. Alright there was Oort, the good lad that he was... Oberon who always seemed to be in the right place when needed and... A girl. A girl in heels. Another senshi who he vaguely remembered being introduced to before they were sucked up like a hoover cleaning. He never did well with outside folk to his small group; the number of people he trusted so far was so small he could count them on one hand, and Skadi was not one of them. Not that she couldn't be.
"Awww, you didn't have to put chocolate in your pocket, I'm right here next to you this time. Just give me a lick if you need to. I've been told my skin tastes like chocolate too." Chara grinned, giving him a wink before he turned back to the investigation of the walls. The thought that Oberon carried chocolate in his pocket made him smile a bit. Yeah, he knew that wasn't the case, but it was nice to imagine that maybe it was because of him he did so, being the senshi of chocolate and all. 'Course he wasn't that stupid to think that was the case; those pockets of Oberon's were lined with so many things at times, he never knew just what to expect.
He did the same as Oberon behind his back after a moment, tapping the wall with his knuckles, then raising up a foot to smash it against the glass when the other boy showed he really DID have eyes in the back of his head, and stopped in his tracks.
"... Ugh, fine." Chara's own heeled boots clacked on the ground as he stopped his kick and he crossed his arms. With out a battle, or a real physical threat, Chara felt rather useless. He was fighter, the DPS in the party, investigations weren't his strong suit in the least. He supposed he could at least keep lookout, whatever that meant here. It was then that he noticed... There was someone else here.. A civ?
".... Oh s**t man, you're stuck in here too...? Dam, uh, don't worry, you're safe here with us... I guess... Atleast if there's any baddies that show up we'll kick there a**."

"Homeworld?," she piped up and questioned quietly. She summoned her phone to her hand and stared down at it for a moment before pressing and holding the home button. Apparently it did not do whatever it was that Oberon had hoped it would. She looked back up at him and shook her head, "Nothin', sorry!" She'd have to remember to ask him later what he was talking about. She knew they could go to the Moon... She had no idea that there were homeworlds. But now was not the time nor place to discuss it- considering they were trapped in a very strange empty room and also she didn't wanna look super dumb in front of all of these people. Normally the mention of chocolate would have her stomach grumbling but for some reason in this weird place, Skadi felt... Well, she felt nothing. She realized she did not feel hungry or thirsty or sleepy or anything. Her right hand reached out to the smoke that lingered on the walls, allowing it to swirl about her fingertips in awe. How bizarre... Lost in her own thoughts, she didn't even notice that someone else had been sucked into their weird empty prison. Until another voice that she did not recognize as part of their small group came from behind her and it made her jump and turn, pulling her away from her thoughts of chocolate. "Oh my gosh," she said while letting out a breath, before laughing nervously. A civilian? She supposed it was lucky that he ended up in a room full of powered people, but if he didn't even know what powered people were... Well, they would look awfully ridiculous in their strange outfits. "Hi! I'm Skadi. I'm sorry you got pulled into this mess," She frowned at the idea of civilians being involved- no good could come of that at all.

So Oort was working on contacting the outside world (which didn't seem to be working), Chara was behaving and not hurting himself trying to knock down walls (for now), and Skadi was trying to see if they could escape via otherworldly transportation (which also didn't seem to be working). This was definitely not the best place to be in, and Oberon had a bad feeling about the smoke that hung to the mirrored walls. Maybe there was a way out that they couldn’t see. Or maybe they were really trapped and something horrible would happen to them.
“Chara, please,” he stared in exasperation at his friend. It was bad enough that Chara had gone through some pretty horrible stuff in the past few months, but for him to get pulled into this place too. And Oort was young. And Skadi had been through some pretty horrible stuff too, what with being kidnapped and tortured and… stuff she probably didn’t want to think about.
“Survival one oh one. Chocolate is good for keeping energy up. You should try to harness your magic for that instead of getting into fights all the time,” he suggested as he pressed his hands against the wall, trying to see if it was easy to push, or if he could try to slide it one way or another to reveal a door, but it wasn’t budging.
It would have been different had it just been himself, but now that his friends were stuck there too, Oberon couldn’t help the way his stomach churned uncomfortably as he glanced, hopefully inconspicuously, towards the corners of the room and ceiling to see if there were cameras or other means of monitoring them.
What he hadn’t expected was the voice of another person.
Not just another person, but the voice of someone he knew.
“Vi!” he gaped, his eyes wide as he took a step to look around the others, blinking a few times to make sure his eyes weren’t playing tricks on him. It could very well be an illusion, but the others saw him too, and offered words of encouragement to their trapped companion.
“What are you doing here?? s**t. Are you okay? You’re not hurt are you?” he fussed, reaching out to lightly take hold of the shorter boy’s shoulders and hold him at arm’s length to make sure he wasn’t injured, obviously worried about the whole potential of being corrupted by mirror. But that didn’t seem to be the case.

Holy crap... a BUNCH of senshi all in one place?? this was the most he'd ever seen in his life in such a group setting! It was, honestly, pretty awe inspiring, making that pretty face of his light up and sparkle in a mild startstruck kinda way. Wow... Oh but shoot. He couldn't tell them HE was one too! of the few things he knew about being a senshi, that was a big no-no, apparently...
And so, in his normal human form, Vi did his best to absorb what they all were conveying to him. So far they were plenty friendly, which caused a small tingle of hope to quiver in the typically lonely boys chest. Just keep it cool... keep it cool. How rare it was to have an actual conversation with others outside of his buddy Peter. So even in this not so pleasant setting they'd all gotten sucked into, Vi couldn't deny the small flutter of excitement he felt to not be alone in this.
A smile was aimed at each individual, taking a moment to look at the whole collection of powered crime fighters. With Chara and Skadi's prompting, he gave a light chuckle of his own, sheepish smile wriggling its way onto his face. A hand lifted to twirl the long, thick curly locks that draped along one side of his head in a nervous habit, "Yeah I guess... I should have been paying more attention." he admitted. "But I'm sorry you guys got pulled into this place too." if they were all powered up, then surely they'd been on their rounds, or possibly dealing with some baddie!
Skadi's polite introduction made him perk up a little. Right! Names! "It's nice to meet you, Skadi. All of you! I'm Vi. Thanks for being so kind and reassuring. I can't say I know entirely... what's going on. But I'll help anyway I can." How much helping he could do like this? he wasn't all too sure...
He stopped short when he was suddenly addressed just seconds after he'd introduced himself. Well someone caught on quickly... but the way his name had been echoed was in a more familiar sense. Looking over to Oberon as he was approached, pale eyes looked the stranger over, trying his best to recollect any memory of them. But... he was coming up blank. There were very few senshi he'd encountered... and he was sure he'd remember any he came across again.
But with how comfortable this guy seemed to be with not only speaking to him, but investigating him so thoroughly, Vi couldn't help but knit his brows slightly with confusion, voice gentle with assurance in turn, "No, no I'm fine, thank you." he started slowly. Oh shoot... would it be rude of him to ask... who the guy was...?
Chewing his lip a little, he got up the gumption to do it. "I'm sorry but... I'm blanking on your name..." maybe that was a more less rude way to go about this? It made him tuck back some of his hair in another anxious gesture, giving an apologetic smile, "My memory seems to be a bit fuzzy I guess." maybe that was it....

"Low blow, Oberon..." Maybe, just a little bit, he felt offended by his friend pointing out him being violent all the time. He really had tried to calm down with that, given the fact he had more than one permanent injuries now, but... Eh, maybe he wasn't trying hard enough.. He went quiet after that, crossing his arms, and leaning against a wall to watch the others. He didn't feel good at all. Physically he was fine, but.. ********, he just wanted to be home in bed.
Watching Oberon suddenly go and fling himself all over Vi didn't help those disgusting feelings of jealousy and bitterness well up. It wasn't the time for this, he told himself over and over. After all, they could die in here, or be trapped forever, and he was sure as hell he didn't what to be trapped feeling like a little jealous jerk.
Instead, he turned his gaze from Oberon and whoever the ******** that pretty little b*****d was to Skadi and Oort. Ugh... He was sweet too... And shy, no wonder Oberon fluttered over him like some sort of worried mother ******** hen. No. NO no, he didn't want to be that jealous little p***k.
"Have ya'll ever been trapped in something like this before? Not too long ago we were trapped in that fake hospital, but this isn't the same, from what I can tell. It wasn't magical like this, just some ******** up prank of some sick b*****d... Here... Damn, it looks like a ******** fun house but without the fun."

It was perhaps as well that Oort wasn't aware of the thoughts going through Oberon's mind, because otherwise he may have been a little huffy - because he wasn't young...
Well okay sure he was the youngest out of their little group but he wasn't a kid and 'sides he was going to be fifteen in a couple of months - at least give or take he was.
Mind reading wasn't a talent that Oort could lay claim to however and so reddish eyes had looked over at Oberon curiously at the other's startled reaction to the new occupant that had appeared in the room that they all seemed trapped in from out of nowhere–
Because from Oberon's words it sounded almost as if he knew the silver-eyed teen.
His gaze shifted to the teen in question, as the other spoke up and introduced himself as Vi, the lack of an aura making Oort assume that a civilian had somehow become trapped in with them "I'm Oort" he said, although the other was speaking to Oberon and so he wasn't sure if he'd heard him.
He shook his head at Chara's question, lips turning up in a slight frown at the chocolate senshi's mention of the non fun house.
"No" he admitted, because whilst Oort had gone through some weird things since the day when Horatio had given him his first henshin pen, being sucked through a weird mirror wasn't one of them.

Skadi shook her head at Chara's question, "No, never." She had, however, considered that this was indeed the Dark Mirror Court's doing. "It doesn't seem like a prank..." she murmured as she dragged the palm of her hand along the cool blank wall. "Have any of you ever gone through a Mirror? Like... With a Dark Mirror Senshi?" She was speaking to the entire group, but was also sort of just thinking out loud as she knocked on the wall. "I haven't," she clarified before turning to face them all again. "But like... Maybe this is what it's like?" She looked down at her fuku for a really quick second just to ensure that it was indeed still white just in case she had somehow been turned into one of them and just.. like... didn't even know it happened. It was far fetched, but this entire situation was way too weird so it couldn't have been impossible! "So weird..." she sighed, to no one in particular.

For being typically focused and aware of his surroundings, it took Oberon a few seconds too long to realize that he had approached Vi as Oberon, and not as Peter.
He was momentarily distracted by Chara’s comment, and he glanced over his shoulder to his other friend, letting out a breath of exasperation.
“I’m serious, Chara, you could do a lot with that energy of yours. It’s a good thing. You can do a lot of good that you don’t realize yet,” he said with a frown, his hands still on Vi’s shoulders. Oort had already done the polite thing and introduced himself.
“My brother has, Skadi,” Oberon said, knowing this was all rather weird for everyone. “Back before the whole Dark Mirror thing, though. There used to be other mirror walkers that weren’t like the Dark Mirror. I can’t remember if he ever told me what they called themselves. But I think the Dark Mirror’s queen used to be one.”
He’d been holding onto Vi’s shoulders the whole time, and finally turned back to his friend, looking him over once more as though he didn’t believe that he was actually as okay as he said.
“I’m Oberon, but you know me as Peter,” he said to Vi, and then glanced around to his friend who were stuck there with him. “Guys, this is Vi. He’s a friend of mine,” he said to the others, lowering his hands from the other’s shoulders.
