Henka Alteration Manipulations______________________________ 
Recently unearthed, these styles have quickly spread to the four corners of the shinobi world. The great Minato was even said to have taken a liking to speaking out the full names of techniques, and memorizing each and every tiny way a technique could be different from its brethren, much to the chagrin of his colleagues. Alterations, in practice, usually require a great deal of preparation time ahead of use, to get one's abilities in exactly the right place at the right time.

In practice, 'Training' techniques are used before battle, during one's down time. Once they have altered a technique in this fashion, there is no additional cost to use the technique, other than the standard amounts. Alteration techniques, except where noted, do not have versus chakra interactions. Balancing one's life between chakra and stamina pools will enable the greatest Alteration masters to thrive!
K o r a b o N i n j u t s u [ C o l l a b o r a t i v e N i n j u t s u ] ___Null-type Training ___Official Description: Korabo Ninjutsu is the act of combining two separate Ninjutsu attacks into one powerful attack. This skill is only possible if the two Shinobi are perfectly in sync. This can take the form of two separate Ninjutsu attacks being unleashed simultaneously which then combine to form one stronger Jutsu, or when one Shinobi places their hands on the body of another and transfers their Elemental Chakra. If done with perfect timing, the power of the Jutsu will increase. This is especially effective in complimentary Elemental Chakra styles like Water and Wind. Training is possible for unskilled Korabo Ninjutsu users. The trainee will need to perfect their synchronization by undergoing special rhythm training with their partner. By carrying out the same movements, the trainee can learn to use their body at the same time. The objective being that both Shinobi will connect their heart and souls so that both Jutsu are carried out at the same time. Examples: Gama Teppou, Gamayu Endan, and Gufuu Suika no Jutsu. ___Guild Description: Each level of training is shared between those practicing together, with the level rankings of Chakra treated as separate levels. Each new partnership counts as new training, & each level must be trained for apart from the previous level. This Jutsu counts for all types of Ninjutsu Chakra manipulation & does not take up space on the profile. Must provide links & partnership names to training. ___Alterations and Self: Required for all alteration styles, one must undergo Korabo training with themselves. The easiest method for doing so is through cloning techniques, if the clones have the ability to cast a technique. Other methods include owning extra arms and hands (chakra or otherwise), through usage of single handed signs, or even timely fuuin. Other less common methods exist, but it's up to you to be crafty! Once you have figured out your method, have all techniques that will be combined ready, and cast them simultaneously. When the technique is finally complete, you will notice that each of the separate techniques expresses itself in the final technique. This is a taxing procedure, so we recommend resting often. ___Differing Ranks: Under normal circumstances, shinobi can only combine same ranked techniques, but by undergoing more training, they are capable of combining different ranks. For each possible pairing, the higher of the two techniques is the rank of the training. Example: C+B, requires B-ranked training.

[ Inton - Yin Release, Ochiiru - Trapping ][ Remembering the Past ]
___Description: ___Yin Release (陰遁, Inton, Viz: Dark Style or Shadow Style) is one of the two nature transformations that exist outside of the elemental circle, along with Yang Release. It is based on the spiritual energy that governs imagination and is created by altering the ratio of spiritual and physical energy in favour of the former. ___Relevant Training: Hard Mental, Soft Mental.
___Notes: • There are more than 6 senses, even when including Chakra. • Triggers allow a Genjutsu to lie dormant after used until the trigger condition is met. • Sensory triggers require the sense(s) in question be stimulated in a certain way to activate the Genjutsu. • Genjutsu set with triggers are unable to be sensed in an individual, prior to activation. • Genjutsu set with triggers will not expire if they lay without activation, meaning that shinobi may live for years with unknown illusions. • Complex triggers are unable to be paired prior to battle. • These can overwrite a technique's source/original trigger, be placed in conjunction with, or made to be an 'or' trigger. ___S t a g e O n e [ E ] Ikan [ The First Sense ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Pick 1 sense, and train it as a trigger. Genjutsu altered by this technique prior to battle gain the prefix 'Ikan'.
Kyoukai [ Boundary ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Enables a paired Genjutsu (prior to battle) to be stretched thin between two points, ignoring all obstacles between the two. Anything crossing between the two points has the illusion cast upon it. Genjutsu altered by this technique gain the prefix 'Kyoukai'.
Tsumami [ Button ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: When a quarter-sized part of the enemy's body is used (and felt), it acts as a trigger to start a paired Genjutsu. Can be set up to trigger only when certain motions are made. Popular places include fingers, thighs, arm pits, eyelids, and feet.
___S t a g e T w o [ D ] Nikan [ The 2 Senses ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Pick 2 senses, and train them as concurrent triggers. Genjutsu altered by this technique prior to battle gain the prefix 'Nikan'.
Zenshin [ Conscience ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: When someone is driven by a moral choice and acts on it, a paired genjutsu will trigger. An example of this is almost slaying a villager (after casting this and a genjutsu) and having your target rush to the innocent's defense.
Kurushimi [ Pain and Anguish ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: Sometimes, shinobi will wreck themselves to get out of your illusions. Pairing this trigger to a set amount of pain will start up a paired Genjutsu, replacing the one that the target just freed themselves of.
___S t a g e T h r e e [ C ] Sankan [ The 3 Senses ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Pick 3 senses, and train them as concurrent triggers. Genjutsu altered by this technique prior to battle gain the prefix 'Sankan'.
Eria [ Area ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Enables a paired Genjutsu (prior to battle) to be stretched thin between four points, ignoring all obstacles between them. Anyone that touches any part of the plane has the illusion cast upon them. Genjutsu altered by this technique gain the prefix 'Eria'.
Hadazawari [ The Feel Of ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: When an large physical action occurs (such as physically blocking, landing on the ground, etc.), it acts as a trigger to start a paired Genjutsu. Popular places include palms, soles, shoulders, knees, and hips.
___S t a g e F o u r [ B ] Yonkan [ The 4 Senses ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Pick 4 senses and train them as concurrent triggers. Genjutsu altered by this technique prior to battle gain the prefix 'Yonkan'.
Joushiki [ Common Sense ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: A tricky alteration more useful outside of battle, since pairing it in battle will cause an instant cast if used without a duration. When the target uses 'common sense', the illusion will trigger. Genjutsu altered by this technique prior to battle gain the prefix 'Joushiki'.
Zehi [ Without Fail ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: This alteration makes the paired illusion's trigger the failure or end of another illusion. This can be brought about by anything from durations running out to even 'Kai'. Genjutsu altered by this technique prior to battle gain the prefix 'Zehi'.

Ryouiki [ Territory ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Enables a paired Genjutsu (prior to battle) to be stretched thin between any number of points, ignoring all obstacles between them. Anything crossing into the affected volume has the illusion cast upon them. Genjutsu altered by this technique gain the prefix 'Ryouiki'.
Kimi [ Sensation ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: When the enemy's body receives a burst of sensory input, the paired Genjutsu is triggered. Popular events include a wave of heat from a blaze, the spray of moisture from a crashing wave, or the thunderclap of nearby lightning.
___S t a g e S i x [ S ] Rokkan [ The 6 Senses ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Pick 6 senses, and train them as concurrent triggers. Genjutsu altered by this technique prior to battle gain the prefix 'Rokkan'.
Kikyouku [ Crisis ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: What might be one of the easiest, and often times most subtle, triggers. When the target senses dangerously high danger, the paired illusion will be triggered.
Hitorideni [ Naturally ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Illusions altered by this and another paired alteration are automatically used when the trigger condition is met. Takes 1 activation (automatically) from the user's post when triggered. The paired illusion(s) is/are unable to be de-altered in battle, so choose wisely! Genjutsu altered by this technique gain the prefix 'Hitorideni'.

Madowaku [ Window Frame ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Places an illusion within the altered illusion, rather than side by side like Kinbou, seamlessly. Deliberately staying between both areas causes sensory confusion, allowing for a third illusion to be placed for no additional activations. Techniques with this alteration gain the prefix 'Madowaku'.
Jitsuzai [ Reality ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: Layers an illusion beneath reality rather than on top of it, causing reality to be perceived as false, and the paired illusion to be perceived as true. Using 'Kai' sends the afflicted further into the grips of the illusion.
___S t a g e F o u r [ B ] Burendo: Bukitai [ Blend: Weapon-Body ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Puts a genjutsu visual into the visuals of a Taijutsu or Bukijutsu technique. Primary sense only. Techniques with this alteration gain the prefix 'Burendo'.
Mawari [ Circulation ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Allows the joint application of three illusions at once, at the cost of the Secondary sense effects being dropped. Techniques with this alteration gain the prefix 'Mawari'.
Magen: Nanbanjū Kokoni Arazu no Jutsu [ Demonic Illusion: Unknown Number of False Surroundings Technique ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: This Jutsu places another visual illusion on top of a previous illusion created by the user. If and when the target dispels the first illusion, they will not realize that a second is in place, or a third, fourth, etc. The Chakra cost & duration is in conjunction with the Genjutsu being 'lengthened', & begins after the first has been dispelled. This essentially makes X visual genjutsus into 1, with the latter parts of the genjutsu requiring separate dispel attempts.

Kantai Ni [ Friendly Reception 2 ] Rank: B :: Training Description: Allows Stage 2 Image Alteration on friendly techniques. Unwanted alterations may be dispelled at will.
Enmu [ Fog ] Rank: X :: Simple Description: Complete erasure of a technique's visible chakra, not the physical image. This alteration is unable to be combined with Sakujo. Techniques altered by this gain the prefix 'Enmu'.

Saikyou [ The Strongest ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: Allows the image alteration to appear as if it has any other kind of Alteration on it. Techniques altered by this gain the prefix 'Saikyou'.

Hanmichi [ Halfway ] Rank: X :: Simple Description: A simple modification which halves the length of the entire paired Ninjutsu along one axis.

If the paired technique is defeated in a versus situation, the opposing technique has its remaining chakra reduced to the next lowest rank. (e.g. 7 chakra rounds down to 5, 12 rounds down to 10, etc)
Kenjou [ Sword-Shaped ] Rank: B :: Complex Description: A middling modification that sharpens all soft edges, and hardens the shape. If the paired technique is successful in a versus situation, the paired technique levels to the next highest rank. (e.g. 3 chakra rounds up to 5, 8 rounds up to 10, etc)
Amatsushin [ Heavenly Truth ] Rank: B :: Training Description: A middling training that allows for other shinobis' Size Manipulated Ninjutsu to be pulled into yours (and vice-versa) if the non-altered ranks match, up to B-rank. The combined Korabo is considered hostile to all parties.
___S t a g e F i v e [ A ] Nanbai Ookisa [ Unknown Volume ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: An upper modification training which modifies previous Volume techniques, multiplying the effects, many times. Allows multiple casts of the same Volume technique for 1 activation, instead of 1 for each.

Jounin Senjitsumeru [ To Permanently Condense ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: A middling alteration in battle that causes the affected friendly Ninjutsu to be condensed from all separate, surrounding parts, into one singular object, entity, etc. In addition, no momentum is conserved, causing highly chaotic movement. If any durations are present in the condensed techniques, the total (combined) post count is lengthened by one [1], for each additional duration. This technique is not subject to versus interactions.
Toubun: San [ Division into Equal Parts: 3 ] Rank: Null :: Simple Description: A middling alteration of Ninjutsu prior to battle that causes the affected friendly Ninjutsu to be split into equal but separate parts, once or twice. Either way, the chakra will be split evenly, keeping the overall strength of the technique the same. Once this technique is set on a Ninjutsu, its name gains the prefix 'Toubun'.

Gyousou [ Aspect ] Rank: X :: Simple Description: Village techniques (gained through T.P.) often revolve around a shared set of characteristics, such as appearance, shape, element, etc. For each shared characteristic between village techniques, the available Korabo rank range is increased by one [1], starting from negative one (i.e. same rank korabo not available). This allows for shinobi to Korabo village technique with other village techniques without the necessary Korabo training between them, with the maximum difference in the two techniques' ranks being dictated by the Korabo rank range. Once this technique is set on a village Ninjutsu, its name gains the prefix 'Gyousou'.

Keiko [ Practice ] Rank: Null :: Simple Description: Keiko training is all about handling greatly altered techniques and making them more efficient. For each modifier added on, deduct 5 chakra or stamina from its cost, up to a maximum of four modifiers. For five modifiers or higher, deduct 10 chakra or stamina from its cost for each modifier, overwriting the lower reduction. The minimum cost that any altered technique can become in this fashion is the original technique's cost. Once this training is set on a technique, its name gains the prefix 'Keiko'. Only 1 Keiko trained technique may be present on a profile.
Kyosuu [ Imaginary Part ] Rank: Null :: Spiritual Description: Kyosuu is a technique which removes the physical and chakra interactions from a known technique. This cost allows the technique to be cast without consuming an action. Once this training is set on a technique, its name gains the prefix 'Kyosuu'. Only 1 Kyosuu trained technique may be present on a profile.

Torikae [ Swap ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: An upper tier alteration of oneself, outside of battle, that allows one to move around priorities and Ninjutsu limits. Up to 5 Ninjutsu slots may be moved from one list's limit to another. An example is moving a Fuuton slot to Doton. Any list mirroring functions (i.e. certain Ninjutsu Class disciplines) do not copy the new increase or decrease to other lists. The cost for moving a slot is dependent on the highest rank technique known between each list.
Takuwaeru [ To Store ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: An upper tier alteration of oneself outside of battle that allows one to move around priorities and Ninjutsu limits. The user is able to store away an unwanted Jutsu in a mental 'Library'. While in this 'Library', knowledge of the inner workings of said technique remain, but the technique is unable to be performed. The cost for storing or retrieving a technique is dependent solely upon its rank, and having the character sleep. Only 1 technique may be stored or retrieved at a time, and for every technique over 5 in the Library, the cost doubles, and continues to double. (i.e. slot 6 is 2x, slot 7 is 4x, and so on). Note: Using Tanukineiri no Jutsu (Maruton) is able to fulfill the sleep requirement, once per battle.

___Description: ___ Yin–Yang Release (陰陽遁, In'yōton, Onmyōton, English TV: Shadow and Light Style) techniques make simultaneous use of Yin Release and Yang Release. Yin relates to one's spiritual energy and Yang relates to one's physical energy, and it's necessary to utilise both of these in order to mould chakra for ninjutsu. [ Tansuukei - Singular Form ][ We stake our lives on 1 technique! ]
___Description: ___Many times, the diligent trainings of students tinkering with their techniques has saved their keister(s). Unfortunately, without the teachings of Tansuukei, many have been limited to only their Custom Technique slots, or using two techniques every few seconds to make one technique. This Alteration Style allows one to pull together either just Korabo shortcuts based on one technique, or Korabo shortcuts with bonuses! Choosing well will make the difference when everything is on the line. ___Relevant Training: None.
___Notes: • Nin/Nin pairings do not interfere with the three [3] established training types. • Stage 1 only requires two [2] of its four [4] to be learned: Zanshin and one [1] of the trainings. • Each Stage's pairing benefit only occurs once. • Stage 2+ slots are not trained in the normal fashion. All one has to do to fill them is to have the ability to create said technique in one post, following standard activation limits, and demonstrate it. (prior preparation not included, of course) • This style may be taken more than once, if one owns enough Alteration Style slots. • This style cannot create a single combination that would put an amount of chakra higher than S+ (320.) If the total chakra of a technique falls between two ranks, it is rounded up to the higher of the two ranks. Combinations still fall under the two rank per body rank rule (i.e. genin can only combine to B rank.) • The original function of the Zanshin technique will not change, nor will it grow larger or explode bigger as it's rank increases. It will simply be of a higher rank and deal more damage. The exception is scaling techniques that have a growth range already, when you add on further ranks of chakra. Similarly, only jutsu that have similar functions can combine at all. You cannot, for example, make a fireball that also grows a wooden forest because Nativity of a World of trees of the Senju Clan does not work in a similar way to Katon Goukakyou. You can, however, make a fireball that has a massive, now super-heated rock inside of it via a combination of Goukakyou and Boulder Throw. Be intelligent with your combinations, and if you have doubts, ask a moderator. • Saying the full name of your technique out loud is sure to spark fear in your enemy!

[ Ippan Youshiki - Half Style, Kujaku Myouhou - Mysterious Peacock Method ][ Justice Rains from Above! ]
___Description: ___Kujaku Myouhou is a unique Ninjutsu style developed by Hidden Star Shinobi. Meditating around a meteor which fell on the country over 200 years ago grants the Shinobi a special purple Chakra. This Chakra is reportedly the users own Chakra which has been pulled out through training with the meteor. This Chakra will first take the form of feathers which extend from the back of the Shinobi. These "feathers" resemble that of a peacock. The feathers in turn can be shaped and moved to the Shinobi's will based upon their seal usage. This allows them to attack with techniques like Kujaku Myouhou: Zan (Destroy) or defend with Kujaku Myouhou: Su (Protect). If the Shinobi places the meteor itself close to the body, they will be granted greater control of these powers. It allows more complex and powerful peacock Chakra usage. Those who use the technique will also retain some draw to the original meteor. By focusing their powers together, they can sense which direction the unique Chakra is emanating from. Also by engraving the targets unique Chakra upon one’s eyes, they can track this individual by following their lingering Chakra trail. The Chakra can also be used to revive an unconscious person. By injecting the Chakra into the target, the injured person regains consciousness. Also if a trained user injects their Chakra into their target and resonates it in the same manner as that of the target, the user can control the movement of the target. To master the Chakra takes much meditation and practice. To use the technique requires the Shinobi generally maintaining their hand seals, however highly skilled Shinobi may maneuver the Chakra even when their arms and hands are bound. Also because the Chakra proves hazardous to the health, few Shinobi have mastered these techniques, and those that do soon die. The training itself has gone through periods where it was practiced and then forbidden. (also commonly referred to as 'Star' chakra) Letting doses stay accumulated in the body instead of healing from them allows for 1 opposing descriptive rank per dose beyond 4 to be ignored. For safety, please keep in mind that this ability technically takes twice as much M.P. (one amount to sacrifice, another same amount for the conversion)
Gou [ Feathers ] Rank: E :: M.P. Description: Ordinarily, M.P. chakra is stored away for internal usage. This technique draws all M.P. chakra out into feathers for primarily battle scenarios, without the need to sustain M.P. creations. An equivalent amount can be used to store it all away again. The Chakra is dense enough to repel most commonly thrown Shinobi weapons, like shuriken and kunai, without chakra expenditure.
Zan [ Destroy ] Rank: X :: M.P. Description: This technique allows the feathers to extend in a piercing motion, up to 3 meters in length per rank.
Su [ Protect ] Rank: X :: M.P. Description: This technique wraps the feathers around the user, but also does not inhibit their ability to move. Amounts of opposing chakra that are in between the established (and stable) ranks are ignored. Example: 7 chakra attack versus a 5 chakra feather guard, the remaining 2 chakra are ignored.
Kemono [ Beast ] Rank: X :: M.P. Description: This technique allows the feathers to contort and become spectral beasts. These beasts can extend out to bite and attack the opponent. Up to 10 beasts can be controlled at a time, but each beast created will need this technique to be cast.
Gou [ Join ] Rank: X :: M.P. Description: If the user wields two beasts, they can use this technique to combine the beasts into one larger creature, or to separate the larger combination into two smaller beasts. (with equal M.P. amounts) The M.P. from casting this technique is conserved.
Yoku [ Wing ] Rank: X :: M.P. Description: This technique allows the feathers to combine to form butterfly like wings. These wings prove strong enough to lift the shinobi off the ground and allow them to take flight for short distances. Each additional rank beyond C allows for twice as much weight to be flown. (cumulatively) Duration: 1 post per C-rank.
Chakra no Nawa [ Chakra Rope ] Rank: X :: M.P. Description: This technique allows the Shinobi to extend their Chakra out of their body into binding ropes, tying up the opponent, or if the attack missed, becoming a usable length of rope. The Chakra is said to be unable to be cut, and as such, ignores all types of slicing and cutting abilities/techniques. Its downfall is the technique, Kawanuke no Jutsu [ Escaping Skill ], which provides an instantaneous release in this instance. 10 meters of rope per rank are created. Once created, this technique has no sustain cost, but the rope will degrade completely and naturally after 10 posts if the initial attack missed.
Chakra no Hoshoku [ Chakra Predation ] Rank: X :: M.P. Description: This technique allows the Shinobi to extend their Chakra out of their body and then consume the special M.P. of their comrades, thus allowing them to increase their power. The comrades themselves will be weakened by the loss of their Chakra. It is also possible to do the reverse, but doing so drains nearly all M.P. from the user. The M.P. from casting this technique is conserved.

___Description: ___Utakata uses Soap Bubble Ninjutsu from the Bubble line (バブル系, Baburu-kei) of ninjutsu. He uses a special pipe to create his highly versatile bubbles. This line of ninjutsu allows Utakata to float inside his bubbles, as well as use them offensively by trapping his enemies in them, filling the bubbles with water to drown them. These bubbles can also be filled with different materials, such as blinding powder, smoke, acid or a sticky slime. ___Relevant Training: Hard Mental, Soft Mental, Korabo
___Notes: • Requires a Suiton affinity, a bubble bottle/handle combo, and soap. • All alteration capable techniques require Korabo training with one's self, at the wanted's rank. • All alteration capable techniques will be automatically Korabo'd with a paired 'active' Ninjutsu, no handsign required. • This style goes well with the Count Manipulation alterations.
___T e c h n i q u e s Tōka [ Permeation ] Rank: X :: Stamina Description: A header for the more commonly known Santōka [ Acid Permeation ], Tōka is the alteration ability to infuse any kind of liquid with the Soap Bubbles, so long as the requested liquid can be cast in a Korabo. An example of this is using ink with Hōmatsu no Jutsu, to create an ink bubble explosion. Techniques with this alteration gain the prefix 'Tōka'.
Shabondama Hedoro [ Soap Bubble Slime ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Bubbles which release a sticky slime when popped, delaying or trapping an opponent. Surfaces will still remain sticky beyond the end of the technique.
Baburu Baku [ Bubble Explosion ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: After Utakata blows dozens of bubbles, they make their way towards opponents. Upon popping, they create bright yellow and white flashes along with variously strong explosions that knock back the enemy and everything nearby. The explosions also produce a large amount of smoke, which can be used to obstruct the opponent's vision.
Baburu Bunshin no Jutsu [ Bubble Clone Technique ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Utakata creates a clone of himself by using his Soap Bubble Ninjutsu with his bubble pipe. When hit, the clone pops like a bubble. The clone may use Suiton and Bubble techniques until its chakra is depleted. This technique may also be used to alter Suiton clone techniques, to encompass them as 'armor'. Techniques with this alteration gain the prefix 'Baburu Bunshin'.
Genwaku Baburu no Jutsu [ Blinding Bubbles Technique ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Utakata blows bubbles, surrounding the opponent's face with them. Once popped, the bubbles create a puff of red powder that momentarily blinds the opponent. The blindness lasts for one [1] post per rank. Other powders may instead be substituted, if they are on the user's person when the technique is cast.
Baburu Engai [ Bubble Dome ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Utakata uses his Soap Bubble Ninjutsu to create a dome around himself and his allies. This dome is shown to be strong enough to resist large explosions. Versus explosion techniques, this technique is treated as two [2] ranks higher.
Dekisui Baburu no Jutsu [ Drowning Bubble Technique ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: By blowing his bubble pipe, Utakata produces a considerable amount of soap bubbles of various sizes, which are then used to trap an opponent's head to subsequently drown them. Drowning takes a full two [2] posts to occur, if caught.
Hōmatsu no Jutsu — Hyō [ Bubbles Technique — Drift ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Utakata creates a single, particularly large bubble with his bubble pipe and quickly jumps inside. Under his command, the bubble will take him wherever he wishes. It's seemingly very capable of both travelling very long distances and floating rather high into the air with no apparent risk of popping. Utakata is also able to take people with him via this technique. Smaller bubbles were seen floating casually alongside it, whereas the first time it was shown, it was just the one bubble. Upon bursting the bubble to get out of it, Utakata can use it to do damage to nearby opponents. This technique eagerly takes on any and all Image Manipulation alterations, requiring one [1] rank less chakra for the desired effects.
Hōmatsu no Jutsu [ Bubbles Technique ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: After blowing dozens of bubbles, the user manipulates them to surround the enemy in all directions. Only the slightest amount of physical contact with an opponent is required to make these bubbles burst, resulting in a small but powerful explosion when they do. The user can then make the entirety detonate simultaneously with a snap of their fingers.

___Description: ___ Sakkuton follows a different set of rules than one would expect for genjutsu, allowing for the principles to be subverted in a way that makes them so much more difficult to follow and understand. Manipulation of perception via removal of sensory information altogether can be just as jarring and difficult to deal with as adding multiple layers of illusions. Sakkuton can turn the most simple of genjutsu into a true test of focus and clarity. ___Relevant Training: Soft/ Hard Mental, Complex traps.
___Notes: • Sakkujo techniques lower the targets ability to detect genjutsu by one rank. Does not stack with more than one however. • All techniques add the prefix Sakkujo to the genjutsu when learned. • These need not be prepared ahead and can simply be added on, once they have been trained, to any genjutsu. • The denial of a sense is only as effective as the rank of chakra added on, but does not affect the genjutsu itself. • Adds on an upkeep of 5 chakra per rank of the Sakkujo skill added on.

Sakkujo: Sound [ Deletion: Sound ] Rank: X Spiritual Description: This skill adds on a couple of hand seals to any genjutsu and alters the primary sense to sound. So long as the illusion holds they will be robbed of their hearing entirely.
Sakkujo: Touch [ Deletion: Touch] Rank: X Spiritual Description: to touch. So long as the illusion holds the opponent will be unable to feel any sensations, resulting in a sort of numbness across their entire body.
___S t a g e T w o [ D ] Sakkujo: Smell [ Deletion: Smell ] Rank: X Spiritual Description: Another simple sensory alters the primary sense of a genjutsu to smell. For the duration of the illusion the opponent will be unable to smell anything.
Sakkujo: Taste [ Deletion: Taste ] Rank: X Spiritual Description: With the addition of a few hand seals, this skill changes the primary sense to taste and blocks the ability for an opponent to taste anything while the genjutsu holds.
Sakkujo: Chakra [ Deletion: Chakra ] Rank: X Spiritual Description: A rather devious and also dubious alteration, this one turns the primary sense for a genjutsu into chakra. For the duration of the genjutsu an opponent will be unable to sense chakra or chakra based techniques up to Its rank.
___S t a g e T h r e e [ C ] Sakkujo Level 2 [ Deletion Level Two] Rank: Training Description: This training allows the earlier alterations to be turned into secondary sensory affects instead of transforming the primary sensory target. Obviously this comes with a plethora of options.
Sakkujo Ni [ Deletion ] Rank: Training Description: This alteration adds on two sensory affects to be chosen from the first stages of the style concurrently with an additional six seals onto any genjutsu. Considered one supplemental activation, still requires the cost of all three genjutsu.
Sakkujo: Watashi [ Deletion: Myself ] Rank: X Spiritual Description: This peculiar skill allows for the deletion of a persons own sensory awareness of their own chakra, making them unable to tell when there is a change in the amount of chakra gone. This replaces the primary trigger and is considered a Chakra sensor.
___S t a g e F o u r [ B ] Sakkujo Sakkujo [ Deletion Deletion ] Rank: X Description: This skill acts as a restoring agent that very suddenly restores any number of affects from this style that were placed by the user of this technique.
Sakkujo: Precision [ Deletion: Precision ] Rank: Training Description: Deleting senses entirely is useful but very crude. Spending time learning to specifically control illusions will allow you to specifically deny the sensory knowledge you choose with the earlier skills as opposed to fully removing them.
Sakkujo: Add [ Add a Deletion! ] Rank: X Spiritual Description: A sneaky skill, this one allows for a sensory erasure to be added to an existing without altering the duration or any other factors. To clarify, you can deny the vision rhrough Sakkujo: Sight but it won't extend the duration of the genjutsu.
___S t a g e F i v e [ A ] Deletion: Switch [ Switch Deletion ] Rank: X Spiritual Description: This supplemental skill acts as a go between for multiple sensory blockages. It first adds on any sensory blockage, and then at a time designated by the user will switch that deletion to any other applicable deletion. Cost is the cost to block out two senses.
Sakkujo: Rolling Blackout [ Deletion: Rolling Blackout ] Rank: X Spiritual Description: This skill is similar to the first, except it allows for a single addition to block out a sense entirely, and then gradually, over the course of the duration of the genjutsu bring those sense back at the discretion of the caster when the skill was used. For instance, a faux thunder clap that then fully deafens, then slowly returns the senses in the order of "Sound of the wind, sound of allies, sound of X" depending on the duration of the original genjutsu.
Deletion: San [ Three Deletes ] Rank: Training Description: This skill allows any combination of 3 senses to be blocked with one skill with the addition of nine handseals to any genjutsu.Still have to pay the cost for each deletion appropriately, but this skill wraps it into one supplemental activation.
___S t a g e S i x [ S ] Sakkujo: Shi [ Deletion 4 (Death) ] Rank: X SPiritual Description: As before, this skill adds on 4 sensory triggers of any combination, and blocks them entirely as per the earlier defined limits with the addition of 12 seals, and the paying of each one individually. This skill consumes one activation, a supplemental on.
Sakkujo: Genjutsu [ Deletion Genjutsu ] Rank: X Spiritual Description: This skill completely erases a genjutsu's presence within a person by blocking the specific senses it should be afflicting. As a trade off, the genjutsu is undetectable until such a time that this skill is turned off with a single handseal, which can literally turn the tide of a split second moment. The duration of the genjutsu however, still continues while it is erased, and this skill's rank must match the rank of the genjutsu.
Sakkujo: Denial [ Deletion: Denial ] Rank: X Spiritual Description:This skill is perhaps the most devious as it targets the full breadth of senses being afflicted by an opponent by any of the user's genjutsu. This is not a supplemental technique, as it hides a genjutsu for up to the longest duration of genjutsu afflicting an opponent. When they kai out of any genjutsu the user has afflicted them with, or otherwise had it ended, this genjutsu springs and deletes all of the senses that target had just seconds prior freed completely for what was the remaining duration. Triggers upon the use of Kai or any other forceful dispelling of genjutsu.

___Description: ___The Kokudo [ Territory ] Style focuses not on raw destructive or defensive power, but rather the areas of battlefield- and crowd control. It focuses first on establishing the practitioner’s area of influence, then applies any of a number of changes to the world within it to direct the flow of battle and break formations. It is particularly compatible with trapping strategies, but anyone with access to Ninjutsu can find a use for it. ___Relevant Training: Any Traps.
___Notes: • Does not require Korabo training. • Ouka [ Assimilation ] can only be dispelled by techniques that target its entire area. • Techniques applied to Ouka are dispelled before it is in Chakra interactions. • Count Manipulation and related augmentations have no appreciable effect on techniques in this style.
___S t a g e O n e [ E ] Ouka [ Assimilation ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Marks the battlefield with traces of the user's Chakra, allowing for usage of techniques in this style up to this technique's rank unless otherwise specified. The user's Chakra signature becomes visible at all points in the area for those who can perceive it. Affects up to 5 meters around the user in every direction, remains stationary after creation, and lasts for four posts. Can be sustained after the initial post limit is reached at a cost of its rank in Chakra every post. Can be countered by higher ranked uses of Ouka. This technique's max radius is 10 meters when paired with any techniques that increase its range.
Bougai [ Interference ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Delays the triggering of a trap within Ouka by one post. The rank of this technique must be at least the rank of the trap.
Kouyou [ Exaltation ] Rank: X :: Complex Description: The next item activation that occurs within the area gains one descriptive rank per this technique's rank in one aspect of its execution. Does not stack with any other Jutsu-based descriptive increases. Affects variable marbles, traps, puppet mechanisms, etc.
___S t a g e T w o [ D ] Kyousei Chuudan [ Forced Stop ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Shrouds the edge of Ouka with Chakra. Until the start of the user's next post, techniques below this technique's rank cannot enter or exit the marked area. Also applies to non-Jutsu entities with a body rank lower than this technique's rank.
Kishuu [ Surprise Attack ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Readies the triggering of a trap within Ouka. If that trap is triggered, its target(s) cannot use Substitution, Body Flicker, or any technique that consumes one or more activations thereof to avoid the aftermath. This technique’s rank is one rank below the trap being affected.
Busoutoshi [ Fortified City ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: The next Jutsu used within the area that affects only one person also shrouds that person in some of the Chakra imbued in Ouka, granting them Chakra-based armor at this technique's rank for one post.
___S t a g e T h r e e [ C ] Henshou [ Reflection of Light ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Hardens the Chakra at the inside edge of Ouka, making it visible to unaltered eyesight. For one post, any technique or the effects thereof that collides with the inside edge of the area is reflected back toward the inside. Increases the rank of any effects reflected by one against anyone who would be hit by both the original technique and its reflection. Being hit with a technique at or higher than this technique's rank dispels it.
Fuhatsu [ Misfire ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: The user causes the ambient energy within Ouka to surge, causing any hostile traps and Fuuin beneath this technique’s rank to misfire. Any traps and Fuuin triggered this way are hostile to anyone within range, regardless of ownership. Only affects traps and activated Fuuin up to this technique’s rank.
Wana [ Snare ] Rank: C :: Training Description: The practitioner practices concealing Fuuin in the Chakra signature Ouka produces. Placed Fuuin count as traps within Ouka even if the user is not trained in the Chakra Traps Formless Style, allowing them to be used with any techniques that deal with traps. Training in the Chakra Traps Formless Style makes these Fuuin harder to detect by sensors, sages, and doujutsu users, using either their Body Rank or the rank of their detection Jutsu to determine whether they can notice these Fuuin.
Bouin [ Overdrinking ] Rank: C :: Spiritual Description: The next non-single target technique used with an area of effect that is mostly or entirely contained within it is extended to completely fill the area. The technique’s strength is reduced by one rank, to a minimum of E-Rank. Has no effect on techniques that already fill the area.
___S t a g e F o u r [ B ] Shuui [ Glean ] Rank: B :: Spiritual Description: The user stimulates the Chakra filling Ouka, gaining information on the relative positions, orientations, and movements of everyone and anything within its confines for one post. If the user is of the Sensor class, they count as being at all points within the area for techniques and abilities that require proximity while this technique is active.
Yobousentei [ Under their Guard ] Rank: B :: Training Description: The practitioner learns to harness the ambient energy produced by Ouka and attunes their traps to it. Traps ignore any descriptive increases to reflex and fortitude if their target’s body rank is their rank or lower.
Busou Kaijo [ Disarmament ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: The user causes the ambient energy in Ouka to suddenly lurch outward, sending any inanimate objects that aren’t fixed in position--or in use--flying outside of the area. Affects items and weaponry in pouches or sheathes, but not armor or anything firmly affixed to armor or a person. Any attempts made to keep an affected item in the area must match or exceed this technique’s rank.
Kazei [ Taxation ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: The user’s techniques resonate with the Chakra throughout the area, causing them to ignore any beneficial adjustments to targets’ Jutsu (i.e. Simple is treated as Complex, +1 Rank strength, +X descriptives, etc.), be they active or passive. Only affects techniques below this technique’s rank.
___S t a g e F i v e [ A ] Toumitsu [ Molasses ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: The user exerts and condenses their Chakra within Ouka, rendering it visible to the naked eye and reducing the strength and speed of techniques used by others by two descriptive ranks per meter the opponent's technique moves through the area. Can only be dispelled by interactions with techniques stronger than it that affect the entire area. Lasts for one post, but reduces the duration of Ouka by one post.
Joku [ Cushion ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: The user very slightly condenses the ambient energy in Ouka and causes it to cling to any combatants in the area and lessens stunning effects. This Chakra prevents activation amounts from being reduced by techniques for anyone in the area. Lasts two posts.
Tareginu [ Curtain ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: The user collapses Ouka onto themselves and anchors it to their skin, reducing its range to a quarter meter but allowing it to move with them. While active, outside parties cannot view or perceive anything that occurs within the area covered with Chakra-based means or doujutsu. Lasts as long as it’s sustained, requiring an A-Rank amount of upkeep be paid each post. After ending, Ouka resumes centered on the new location with its duration extended by two posts. Can only be used once every three posts.
Mizu no Houritsu [ Law of the Water ] Rank: A :: Spiritual Description: Techniques executed within the area interact with the Chakra of this technique and gain a simple physical property, such as being runny like liquid or bouncy like rubber. Affects momentum, cohesiveness, and trajectory if applicable. Lasts for two posts.
___S t a g e S i x [ S ] Tokuhai [ Special Ration ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: The user charges Ouka to transfer Chakra between any entities that have Chakra pools and share the user’s Chakra signature, such as clones. The cost of this technique is equal to the cost of the Chakra to be transferred, resulting in a total cost of twice the transferred Chakra. The connection can be sustained for 10 Chakra per post, which splits any Chakra recovered during that time evenly among any entities in the area that share the user’s Chakra signature. Requires Korabo training with the self up to S-Rank.
Haitei [ Pauper King ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: The user blends their presence into the surrounding Chakra signature of Ouka, disguising them to all manner of sensory technique and trap triggers, up to this technique’s rank.
Zenshinshugi [ Gradualism ] Rank: S :: Training Description: The practitioner stabilizes the forms taken by their techniques, allowing any techniques in this Style that specify that they affect “the next technique used” to instead affect any other technique the user desires within 1 post of the technique’s activation.

Ito no Ayatsurikata [ How to Manipulate a Thread ][ Bound with the Red String of Fate! ]
___Description: ___Detainment is a field not often studied by shinobi. It isn’t flashy, it often isn’t permanent, and above all it’s usually very difficult. This often leads to kill orders being placed on targets that aren’t necessarily dangerous, but simply difficult to catch. To remedy this situation, a researcher came up with a method of creating and manipulating chakra in the form of that old shinobi classic: steel wire. Emphasis was placed on nonlethal binding and detainment while staying outside the typical strike zone for shinobi, allowing for quick, efficient detainment. Thus was Ito no Ayatsurikata [ How to Manipulate a Thread ] born. ___Relevant Training: Soft Physical, Soft Mental, Hard Mental, Wire.
___Notes: • Does not require Korabo training. • Wire-based techniques do not take up Ninjutsu slots and are counted as techniques within this style after Stage Six has been mastered. • The durability of created wires and wire structures is at the rank of the technique used to create them, unless otherwise specified. • Kawarimi [ Substitution ] and Kawanuke [ Rope Escape ] do not detach chakra wires, as they simply move with the subject. As such they cannot be used to escape from bindings employing chakra wires. • While they do affect physical objects, chakra wires cannot be severed or affected by techniques that do not contain chakra, even if those techniques would be treated as if they were complex or spiritual in any other circumstance.
___S t a g e O n e [ E ] Kizuna [ Tether ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Coats the user’s hands in chakra. The chakra from one hand may be discharged to mark something it is touching. Two marked entities will be tethered together by a chakra wire four meters long. Cannot be placed on the user. Lasts five posts or until dispelled or broken.
Kousaku [ Steel Wire ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Activated by slapping the hands together. Creates a spool of hardened chakra wire 10 meters long between the user’s palms that can be manipulated and used like regular steel wire. Lasts four posts.
Musubime [ Knot ] Rank: E :: Spiritual Description: Binds two wires together either end-to-end or at a point where they cross each other. Lasts until one or both wires disappear. Does not consume an activation.
___S t a g e T w o [ D ] Kinshuku [ Shrinkage ] Rank: D :: Spiritual Description: By disturbing the chakra in a wire, the user causes it to shrink to a desired length. This shrinkage increases the durability of the wire by one rank.
Wana [ Loop ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Activated by running a finger along the wire to be affected. The user discharges a small amount of chakra into a wire and causes the end to loop around whatever it is attached to.
Sharibetsu [ Syrup ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Makes a chakra wire “sticky”, causing it to create new instances of itself when touched. Each new instance originates from the point of contact and retains all the properties of the original wire except for this “sticky” property. The cost of this technique matches that of the original wire.
___S t a g e T h r e e [ C ] Henshitsu Kunren [ Alteration Training ] Rank: C :: Training Description: The practitioner alters the properties of their created chakra wires, making them longer, shorter, more elastic, less elastic, and so on. The costs of techniques in this Style are reduced by 5 Chakra, to a minimum of 5 Chakra. Ayatsuito no Jutsu [ String Reeling Technique ] counts as a technique from this style.
Ami [ Net ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Activated by clenching the fist. The user creates a wad of chakra wire in their closed fist that assembles into a net. When the fist is opened, the net is launched with a speed equal to this technique’s rank.
Tsutsumikomi [ Wrap Up ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Causes a wire to completely wrap around an object it is attached to, preventing damage to the object caused by yanking the wire. If used with chakra wire, anything attached to the wire cannot harm the affected object from the outside.
Wagomu [ Rubber Band ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Makes a wire elastic, allowing it to stretch up to a meter longer per four meters in length it has. Entities that try to move outside the wire’s length are flung back inside with the force of their movement technique and take damage in whiplash equal to their descriptive increases to speed. Reduces wire durability by one rank.
___S t a g e F o u r [ B ] Kizuna no Ito [ Thread of Tethering ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: The user pushes out the chakra from a Kizuna [ Tether ] that hasn’t yet been placed, turning it into a wire 3 meters long per rank. Should this wire come into contact with another chakra source, it will mark it with Kizuna [ Tether ] and disperse.
Kanjigarame [ Tightly Bound ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: If two marked entities connected by the same chakra wire come within a meter of each other, the user may immediately activate this technique to cause them to snap together and be bound to each other at the points of the marking. Can be broken by using a movement technique above the rank of the binding. Any descriptive increases to speed and strength are denied to a bound person.
Uwadzutsumi [ Wrapper ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Activated by clapping the hands together once. Causes a wire attached to a part of someone’s body to snake around and completely encapsulate that part. Prevents usage of that part of the body for anything requiring even a modicum of dexterity. Wire durability is one rank higher around the affected part due to overlapping wires. Does not conduct any of the afflicted person’s techniques that would require the use of the affected part. Treated like armor when interacting with techniques that behave differently for, or can only be used on, armor.
Bankon [ Entwined Roots ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: The user causes a chakra surge in a wire. Dozens of chakra wires spring out at any point(s) on the wire the user desires, each one grabbing onto another entity or part of the environment in order to anchor the wire in place. Anyone bound in wire so anchored cannot move independent of the landscape or entities they’ve been attached to, including via movement, evasion, or substitution techniques up to this technique’s rank. Denies the subject any descriptive increases to speed or strength while bound.
___S t a g e F i v e [ A ] Barasen Kunren [ Barbed Wire Training ] Rank: A :: Training Description: The practitioner imbues their wires with any non-Maruton chakra they have access to. Created threads can be paid for with a different chakra type to grant the wires a corresponding effect (i.e. Fuuton grants cutting properties, Katon burns, medical heals or harms, etc.). Puppeteers can use wires from this style to control their puppets and can convert any chakra strings in their control to chakra wires for no cost and without consuming an activation.
Nuime [ Stitch ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Causes all wires to be attracted to a mark the user has placed. The user chooses which mark is sought out of any they’ve created. Wires pursue the designated mark at a speed one rank lower than this technique’s rank and continue to do so for three posts. Those that reach the mark are bound to it on contact.
Ayatsuru [ To Manipulate ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: A Ninjutsu augment that causes the paired technique to be conducted along a wire of the same type, following its path. Techniques affected by this augment gain the prefix “Ayatsuri [ Manipulated ]”. Cost is half the paired technique’s, to a minimum of 5 Chakra.
Namagomu [ Raw Rubber ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Activated by stroking a wire. The wire gains a very slow elastic property, meaning it strongly resists movement without prohibiting it altogether. Techniques do not grant descriptive increases to speed or reflex for those attached to a wire so altered and have their total number of activations per post reduced by one. If their body rank is lower than this technique’s rank by two or more ranks, they lose two activations instead. Lasts two posts. Can only be used up to the user’s body rank.
___S t a g e S i x [ S ] Ito Kunren [ Thread Training ] Rank: S :: Training Description: The practitioner practices manipulating their chakra wires at a distance, gaining the ability to use Ayatsuito no Jutsu [ String Reeling Technique ] on any wires within 5 meters without having to be in contact with them. Multiple wires can be manipulated with one usage of Ayatsuito, with the cost being one rank higher than the highest-ranked application of it. Non-wire threads become compatible with all techniques in this style.
Ayatori [ Cat’s Cradle ] Rank: S :: Spiritual Description: Activated by clasping the hands together. A large amount of chakra is used to create a wad of chakra wires between the user’s hands. When the hands are unclasped, scores of wires leap out and wrap around objects in the environment, creating a battlefield covered in wires the user controls. Affects an entire thread, but has no effect if there’s nothing for the wires to latch onto. Can be sustained as an X-Rank technique, which causes the wires to automatically block passage by marked entities with a speed matching the sustain rank. Wires persist for five posts. Cost becomes complex if used with a large quantity of real wire.
Kaimen [ Sponge ] Rank: Description: The user destabilizes the chakra in a string, rendering it susceptible to outside influence. The next chakra-containing technique used on or adjacent to the string will change it to match the type of that chakra (i.e. Katon, Fuuton, medical, etc.). Techniques of that type used by anyone attached to the wire have their chakra dissipated harmlessly along its length. Reduces wire durability by one rank. Only affects techniques up to this technique’s rank. Lasts until the wire vanishes.
Kouji [ Decoy ] Rank: X :: Spiritual Description: Coats wires in a thin shell of Chakra. Techniques that would disrupt, absorb, or otherwise interfere with the chakra in a wire instead affect this shell. Only partially effective on techniques above its rank.
