Akira was a strong willed child who grew up in the time of the first great shinobi war. He parents had been around when the founding of the village had started and the Matsumishi clan was one of the first to settle within the land of water. Akira was a determined girl who would fight hard to achieve what she wanted.
When she enlisted into the academy of Kirigakure she excelled at ninjutsu, especially over the water element. These were different times and Akira was trained for war purposes, after graduating the academy she was given her headband and a weapon of her choosing. She chose the wazikashi and was trained how to expertly wield the weapon along with performing suiton ninjutsu.
Fighting in the war made her realize that it was only for the purpose of gaining territory on the other nations and her opinion on the war quickly became one sided. After the war was over many of her colleagues decided to follow Akira and they made a coup against the current Mizukage, Teserai Myomotto. The coup succeeded and the rule of the tyrant Teserai was over. Akira made it a point to start to rebuild the village hidden in the mist to help people rather than fight all the time. Others had their doubts but the peace was maintained, Akira had reached her goal.
She ruled over the village hidden in the mist for nineteen years and on her twentieth year she resigned and a new Mizukage was selected. Akira remains around the village, guiding those on the right path but she fears that everything she fought so hard for will crumble to pieces all around her.

Krim Oshakata was born under a strict time in the Village Hidden in the Mist. His parents knew what the shinobi world was like so they started his training when he could barely hold a sword. They taught him to be ruthless and to do whatever it took to win. But they had also taught him that you only kill people that have done major harm to someone or were killers themselves. That was his motto that he has kept since then.
His academy days went by fast for he had already had most of the training that they were teaching at the academy. He passed his test with flying colors and soon became a Genin but his training had been so intense over the years that it only took one mission until his skill was needed elsewhere. He was quickly promoted to Chunin a lot faster than any of his graduating class.
His first Chunin mission was classified as a need to know for how gruesome and non discrete in the manner it was carried out. Krim killed four Jonin rank shinobi as well as fifteen Chunin and Genin ranked shinobi all by himself. It was time for his skill be put elsewhere once again. So his mission set was far different from the rest and he was to train to become a seven swordsman.
Krim spent ten years training and going on missions with the last swordsman of the executioner blade. He was now far above any Chunin and was considered a special Jonin class ninja. It was time for the sword be passed on but in order to do that Krim had to undergo a series of tests. He was sent to assassinate certain individuals that had wronged the village in one way or another and he did so flawlessly and ruthlessly donning him the Beheader before he had received the executioner blade.
When he got the sword he was then dubbed the rank of Anbu and received his mask and sword to perform out his work. Since then he has completed over thirty S rank missions which have all been assassination attempts. He is still currently with the Mist village and works with the Anbu Headhunters all the time and only answers to the previous Mizukage not even accepting the new Mizukage's rule.

Marin was a brute of a child and stood up for the weak, and crushed his enemies with force. He was a valuable asset in the first great shinobi war, obtaining his nickname the Devourer for the way he wielded Samehada on the battlefield. Sucking the chakra from his enemies and crushing his foes, he took more territory for the village hidden in the mist than any other shinobi of his time.
After the war ended Marin was sent on tumultuous missions to uncover any traces of the shinobi who went rogue after Akira took up office. He spends most of his time away from the main island but never trails out of the land of water. He reports to Akira and not to Torumai for a respect reason, but Torumai does not like the idea of someone running around behind his back. None the less, Marin still wanders around from island to island searching for betrayers of Kirigakure.

Tsuichi was a kid that grew up on one of the smaller islands of the land of Water. His family was well known for it's intelligent fighting maneuvers and quick intelligent thinking when under extreme stress. His father was the previous owner of Nuibari and he taught Tsu how to dual wield weapons and to fluently use the in sync with one another. His father had passed away in the first great shinobi war by a Sunagakure shinobi so Tsu holds utter hatred towards the shinobi of the village hidden in the sand.
Tsu was in the same academy class as Torumai but the two didn't get along well. When the two branched off on different paths, Tsu trained extravagantly hard to achieve the status of seven swordsman, being allowed to finally wield the blade of his Father. Of course how to use the hammer and axe combo came natural to Tsu because his father had taught him the moves long before this day.
Tsu has worked for Torumai and has also undergone missions with the current Mizukage. He knows about the threats stewing in the distant lands across the sea but remains out of the conflict because the thought of war is an unsettling feeling for all involved. Tsu wishes peace to remain but senses that something terrible is coming and he wishes Kiri to be ready.

Her career as a shinobi has been short but she has accomplished a lot in that amount of time. Serena was a chunin on a mission to travel into the land of lightning. Her team was ambushed by a group of bandits that were hiding in the mountains. They managed to capture Serena and they brought her to their hideout where a rogue shinobi from Kumogakure was pulling the strings. He used genjutsu on her to the point where her mind had become feral and one day she had used a jagged rock to cut her bonds and kill the man keeping watch on her.
By the time her team had come to rescue her, she had already killed the entire base of bandits as well as their rogue shinobi leader. Her team got her back to the village but she was now a changed person. Torumai gave the blade to her in hopes that it would allow Serena to overcome her inner demons.
But this only made matters worse! Since obtaining the blade she has led to more destruction than she has on fixing herself. She has the highest casualty rate of shinobi on missions so Torumai sends her out only if he needs to. So she usually remains around the Mizukage's building meandering in the lower levels trying to find her sanity.

During the first great shinobi war there was a clan of sword fighters that were almost as good as the Kenshi Clan when it came to Kenjutsu, the technique of the sword. They are the Minami Clan, and Jinsoku is one of their prodigies that survived the tests of time.
When he was a young boy, Jinsoku has trained in the art of dual wielding katanas. He perfected this art by the age of nine and had hoped to achieve mastery until the second Mizukage, Akira, hand picked Jinsoku to test for the dual wielding, lightning based, legendary sword pair... Kiba. Jinsoku aquired the swords when he was nineteen years old.
Since then he has perfected both bukijutsu and ninjutsu, making them in sync for a perfectly lethal combo.

Akishiro was the top graduate of his academy class. He rose in rank by fighting in the first great shinobi war when he was only sixteen. He was promoted straight to Jonin and performed a few important missions before being recruited into the Anbu Headhunters. Aki worked under them for five years before falling into a deep state of depression and retired back to Jonin per his own request.
He had been good friends with Torumai, the present Mizukage, and it was Torumai himself that offered up a teaching position to him. Akishiro couldn't decline and was given a three man team of genin. His students were the perfect team, and he couldn't have asked for anything better. He trained them up for a solid year, doing missions with them and watching them grow as shinobi. It was time for their first big mission, a mission that will forever change Akishiro's life forever.
Their squad was to go out and investigate a disturbance off the main island of the land of water. They were in Kumogakure territory investigating the disappearance of a few trade boats. Come to find out that it was a rogue shinobi from the Kumogakure that was destroying the ships and taking their cargo back to a small island where it was then resold on the black market. Akishiro and his team found the rogue shinobi out in open water, next was an ambush that took the lives of the three genin. Akishiro, infuriated with rage, used his Kaguya bloodline in combination with his water jutsu to kill all of the henchman of the rogue shinobi before they squared off themselves. Akishiro was victorious but a much greater depression now sunk in.
It took Aki many years to overcome the depression but he would not accept anymore students. When he was finally ordered by Torumai to take up teaching again, Akishiro made it a point to him that he would only pass those that he saw fit to become shinobi.
