Now that she had her own cell phone, Sailor Duhr had taken it upon herself to figure out how to use it.
It looked like a normal cell phone but since it had come from a talking cat, the super senshi knew that it had to be magical. There was no charger required, no loss of signal no matter where she walked….and if she knew anybody to call, she bet she'd get ahold of ‘em even more quick than she would with a regular one.
She was so distracted by her tinkering and random button pushing that her head remained tilted, gaze focused on the steel blue phone as high heels clopped their way down the dark, empty sidewalk. There were a few auras that surfaced here and there but that was always the case - crime fightin’ could hold on for a gosh darn minute while she worked on figurin’ out her new fancy piece of equipment!

Patrolling was a nice way for her to focus on something other than the sadness and loneliness that tried to overwhelm her whenever she wasn't in the company of others. Despite the fact that her father hadn't had a melt down when he discovered her boyfriend had spent the night, the girl had known that it was frowned upon and that Pops would lose his head if it happened again any time soon.
So despite the fact that her free time was consumed by her boyfriend or her cats there was still too much time where her thoughts inevitably drifted back to her boys. Or the men - creatures? - that had once been her best friends.
Which meant that she was pushing herself more than usual, going out when she didn't need to because there was a threat to the city that hadn't been cared for. Moonies still plagued the city.
And...if she was honest, Hydra was desperate to keep from sleeping. Sleeping meant dreaming and dreaming meant risking that she would (or wouldn't) see Seal's Eye and she didn't think that she could handle seeing him right now.
It didn't take her long to feel and find the super senshi who made her skin crawl and feel prickly like sterlie hospital smell did and it took even less time for her to strike.

Hydra Wave
Similar to Hydra Strike, she spreads her arms open and there is rumbling beneath her and a wave begins to build before her this time reaching an upwards of 10ft. When she releases the wave there is an increased pressure/force when it slams down on her opponent. The force should be enough to knock them back if not off their feet - if they are knocked off their feet the pressure should hold them down until their next post. It takes approximately 30 seconds for the wave to reach full height.
Once again, if someone is with in 7ft of her they will feel the rumbling, if hit, the person feels as though they drenched in water for at least two minutes, and the attack does not discriminate between ally or foe.
Usage: 2 Mechanics: Hydra summons the wave in one post, attacks in the next. She can be interrupted in the middle of summoning and either the wave fails completely or is released with less potency.

An aura was getting stronger, but there weren't any screams, any hollers or sassy words being tossed around so Duhr assumed she still had time before she was disturbed - if she was bothered at all, of course.
The rumbling sound in the distance, however, sadly assured her that she had not gone ignored by whatever was lurking in the shadows that evening.
As the ground shook and the noise grew louder, Duhr's phone quickly became the very last priority on her list of "things to investigate". Blonde curls swung wildly as her head tossed around, blue eyes widening in confusion as she saw the giant wave forming.
"W-What in tarnation..."
Her phone disappeared into one of the many folds of fabric of her fuku as she peered closer, trying to see what or who in the world was responsible for the giant water just randomly spurting out of the sidewalk.

Hydra didn't know if she had used this version of her attack before but the wave was climbing higher and higher before her as she lifted her arms. Jade eyes narrowed at the white and purple dressed senshi who was stupid enough to wander closer to the wave that was building.
The rumbling beneath her feet felt powerful and in turn, so did she.
"Hydra Wave!" She called as she thrust her arms out and the wave moved forward intending to drag her opponent beneath it's force and water.

It took a few moments for things to click into place but as soon as Sailor Duhr realized that the random wave was associated with the dark aura she'd been feeling earlier, it was too late. The wave had already been sent off in her direction and the senshi spread her legs and raised her arms, poised in her best attempt to absorb whatever blow this.. this tidal wave of what the hell was headed her way.
The force of the water was stronger than she'd have expected for a seven foot wave generated from the sidewalk cement. It wasn't hard to knock the clumsy woman from off of her high heels, sending her backwards with a resounding thud as her back hit the road. Gloved hands rose to peel herself off but the water's pressure kept her pinned.
So, doing as Duhr does best, the tornado senshi decided to seize the opportunity to figure out exactly what the heck was going on.
"Ain't a fair fight, hittin' someone from their backside!" She hollered out, straining to lift her head up. "Ya some kind of coward???"
Okay, well, she was less concerned with figuring out what was going on and more pissed the hell off that someone had dared attack her from behind.

Where the moonie toppled over in her heels easily, Hydra stepped forward confidently. Sure, she wore boots and not the simple heels but there was still a heel that she once used to have difficult with. Not to mention all of her hair.
But that was neither here nor there.
"You saw the wave," Hydra countered, stepping forward as water splashed into the pavement around them and disappeared into the air. Her arms were still up maintaining the water that poured down on the moonie until the ticking timer of her magic ran out. "You didn't do anything about it."
She wasn't very tall but the fact that her opponent was on her back on the ground that gave her what she hoped was an intimidating appearance. Her foot lifted and moved to keep the senshi pinned to the ground.

Well this sassy lil sugar was certainly full of herself.
Duhr was fit to be tied. This senshi, this haughty green haired lil thing, not only struck her when her guard was down but had the gall to actually blame her for not being more prepared. Plannin' on natural disasters in the middle of the gosh darn road was not something she should be expecting!
Blonde ringlets were soaked, as was the rest of her uniform. The older girl sputtered as she struggled to catch her breath, anger burning in her baby blue eyes. The glare only intensified as the corrupt pressed her foot down on the tornado senshi's abdomen, applying pressure as her magic slowly began to wane.
"Well don't ya worry, Ah'm gonna do something about it right now!"
Both hands grabbed hold of the foot that was pushing down on her, yanking on the limb with the intentions of pulling the senshi down to her level.
If this filly wanted to wrassle, she was gonna get to wrassle!

There was what could be assume to be a witty retort on the super's tongue when, to her surprise, the moonie grabbed her ankle and managed to use enough force to knock her off her feet. Her shoulder collided with the cement, the small exposed patch of skin scraping against the surface and her long, too-long, hair was everywhere.
There was pause, a milisecond if that, where Hydra cursed herself for her cockiness.
Obsidian would be ashamed. At least he had the skill, strength, and experience to know and do better.
Immediately she was kicking out her feet either to get loose or kick something soft and squishy or maybe breakable.

A boot connected to her abdomen as she turned, forcing a loud oompth out of the blonde senshi as hands moved to try to suppress the kicking. She was definitely a feisty one, but it was also clear that this gal wasn't from no countryside!
Or if she was, it surely wasn't any countryside style of wrestling that she'd ever seen.
"Havin' some problems, buddy?"
The girl was still on the ground, giving Duhr the opportunity to try to crawl her way up and straddle the bucking senshi, lanky arms still struggling to grab hold of the flailing legs. "Bet ya only fight people when they ain't lookin'. What a coward! Ya don't even know my name and yer tryin' to kill me!"

If Hydra were the spitting type she would have spit at the senshi when her foot was caught. She was however preoccupied with the girl attempting to straddle her but...she left her hands free and there was--
Hydra had never stuck her hand in someone else's chest before. She knew that it was an option and that she could yank out the starseed if she chose to but she'd never done it.
That was someone's soul if Oberon was to be believed and there was something inherently wrong with touching that but--
A deep breath and Hydra's hand pushed against the center of Duhr's chest and sunk past her flesh and bone in to a space she knew existed but had never experienced and her gloved fingers wrapped around the fragile gem.
"Get off of me!"

Duhr was grinning, enjoying the thrashing that the smaller senshi was doing beneath her. It served her right, honestly, for makin' such a ruckus and trying to hurt her in the first place. The senshi of tornadoes wasn't much for talking things out, herself, but she definitely didn't believe in tryin' to hit someone from behind.
That was just downright dirty.
The grin faded and twisted into a look of horror as the small hand pushed itself against her chest and slipped inside. Duhr had assumed it was a trick of the eye, up until she felt something clutch within her chest, pulling the air out of her lungs as she suddenly grew weaker.
What in the...
Shoving back with what strength she could muster, Duhr toppled over to the side of the tsunami senshi, alarmed at the enemy's strange new way of fighting.

It felt wrong, dirty, to be touching something as sacred as a soul but Hydra didn't know how else to get the blonde off of her because her punching and flailing were only getting her so far. It proved to be effective even if the type of alarm that flashed across the other girl's face brought about a surge of guilt.
The feeling left quickly as she was shoved back and her grip loosened until her hand was outside of that cavity and back in the present.
With Duhr now half off of her, from her mad scrambling panic, Hydra was able to shove the taller girl off of her and scramble back to her feet. Her own chest was heaving, fingers scrambling to push hair out of her face as she looked, wide eyed and apprehensive, back that other girl.

Duhr felt violated.
Her frilly glove clutched the area of her chest that the senshi had just invaded. She'd always stopped the enemy from draining energy, but no one - no one - had warned her that they could reach inside of her body and do... do whatever it was that the little girl had done to her.
What else could these bastards do?
"Ah.. Ah don't want any trouble." Her voice was low, breath still working to catch up with the rest of her. It was a startling experience and the blonde senshi was clearly shaken. It took a moment to climb back onto her heels, tall girl towering over the corrupt. If she ran, there was a chance that the wave would attack her again - could she outrun it?
Blue eyes narrowed.
Well hell, she was gonna have to try.
Flippin' the girl the bird (because summoning a tornado would probably hurt her just as badly, at this range), Duhr turned around and stalked her way down the sidewalk, her other hand still protectively covering her sternum. She needed to talk to Dan, to a cat, to anyone because now she had more questions than ever about these stupid Negapeople.

There was a look of panic in her eyes as she watched the senshi collected herself. Her hands were raised defensively, fingers curled into fists to ready herself for any sort of attack. It didn't come however and she didn't know if she was relieved or not.
In truth, Hydra felt dirty having reached into that place.
So, instead of attacking as Duhr made her escape Hydra stood and watched her go. She knew, she knew that she ought to chase after the blonde and finish what she had started but -
She felt shaken. So, once the woman was just out of sight, Hydra teleported away. She was done for the night.
