Sadalsuud had awakened to a room that was not her own, her green eyes puzzled as they had blurrily taken in the unfamiliar surroundings.
The room was nicely decorated and much fancier than the one that she had back home as Mi-Hi.
It had taken a while - and a few surreptitious pinches - but eventually it dawned on her that she wasn't dreaming, the events of the previous evening slowly filtering back.
The strange silvery glow of the mirror. The collapsing room. Queen Altea saving them. Her evening chat with Kiuchi–
And above all the fact that they were in a place that the Queen had called Solamnia which was very much not Destiny City.
She had eventually managed to find her way to the dining room that Queen Altea had taken them to the previous night, her growling stomach reminding her of the fact that she hadn't eaten the night before and whilst the concept of eating crystals had been no less strange, they hadn't really tasted so bad.
In fact they hadn't really tasted of anything and had dissolved on her tongue in a manner that made her think of cotton candy - really, really tasteless cotton candy...
And tasteless or not they had done the job of banishing the growling grumbles of her stomach by filling her up.
She shook her head slightly at the thought and tried to walk a little faster - because at present Sadalsuud was on her way to the library - because she had promised to meet Kiuchi there the previous night so that the two of them could try and bounce ideas around together.Sleet Tempest Snape Hope this works as the next start Sleet and as always lmk if I need to change anything :3

For the few who knew him, who knew Xi-Wang, they wouldn't have been surprised by him missing breakfast in order to sleep. Sleep was something he did a lot, he was good at it. Since he didn't have an alarm set to wake him, due to a lack of work or school, he slept right on through breakfast.
When he did manage to wake up and drag himself, still clutching a pillow, to the bathroom to wash up he slowly started to rouse enough to remember he was supposed to be meeting up with Sadalsuud. Groaning softly, hoping he hadn't made her wait, he hurried himself through his shower and once dressed in his uniform he headed for the library.
The idea of food was appealing, he was hungry, but he really didn't trust the idea of eating crystals. He did trust the Queen who had saved them...but he had so many questions and he just wasn't sure. He was going to put off eating as long as he could, and even then he was planning to eat within moderation. Eating could wait though, and it would, as he stepped into the library.
"Sorry I'm late." Calling out, already figuring she'd been waiting for him since she was here. He figured it might have been a long wait, it was likely a good and accurate guess for him.

On reaching the library Sadalsuud noticed that it once again seemed empty, however the books that she had been leafing through were no longer sitting on the table where she'd left them the previous night.
A quick glance at the shelves showed them neatly put away - although it hadn't been by her–
And unless Kiuchi had double-backed to the library after the two of them had parted ways then it seemed unlikely to have been him either...
Neither of them had agreed a time to meet and so Sadalsuud had pulled out a few more of the books before making a beeline towards the plush chair that she had sat in the previous evening.
She was leafing through one of the books, the others neatly stacked next to the chair when she heard Kiuchi's voice, her lips quirking up in a small smile as she glanced over towards the taller senshi "Morning Kiuchi."
Although was it really morning? Because without a clock it was kind of hard to tell - but at least the sentiment was there.

"Are you sure it's morning...I feel like I stayed up all night and didn't fall asleep till morning." Which might put this as afternoon? He really couldn't be sure though. How long had they been missing from Earth though? That was something he really needed to know.
"Did anything happen while I was managing to get some sleep?" Anything at all, any information, anything amongst their court. He was hoping for some change in things...even if it was little. As much as he liked the idea of being in space he really wanted his bed, well Caleb's actually, he didn't want the bed here. While the pajamas were comfortable, and he was going to find a way to bring a pair back with him, and the pillows were really nice also Kiuchi wasn't happy being here like this - this wasn't his home and this wasn't somewhere he wanted to be for a long time.
"I'm starting to miss being home..." And he was starting to cling to his pillows and sleep with one held tightly in his arms and his face pressed to it. Yeah - he really was missing someone to cuddle with. When he got back he was thinking it was about time he moved in with Caleb as a permanent thing.

Sadalsuud shook her head "No" she said as she gently set the book down, Kiuchi's question mirroring her thoughts.
"I was just guessing" she admitted, a rueful note slipping into her voice as she added "But it's hard to tell for sure without a clock or watch" and she hadn't seen any of the former and didn't have one of the latter - at least not with her.
Her voice turned thoughtful as she continued "And I didn't see anything strange at when I was in the dining area today, although the crystals are kind of like cotton candy" she wrinkled her nose slightly as she added quietly "Really, really tasteless cotton candy."
