The bright warm afternoon summoned a pleasant wind to drift over the old cemetery nestled away. In turn the golden and white mare was borne with ease in the skies above and made her way in the direction of the sacred resting grounds. There were rumors she had heard of a cemetery around this area but no fellow soquili would dare to show her the way. Fear was not a welcomed friend in Mallina's life so the idea of visiting such a meaningful land did not fill her with dread. In a strange unique way, she could find a bit of comfort in seeing those who came before her at peace.
All she had to go on were rumors and some vague descriptions about where to find this place. Mallina had started out after hearing of the cemetery early in the morning.Only in the light of the afternoon did she spot the plot of land speckled with various markers that told her she was in the right place. That was the best part about being able to fly: She was able to spot things without trouble from great distances. Powerful white wings flapped to ease her hooves to the ground just outside the quiet hollowed grounds. Green eyes sparkled as she slowly made her way in. "Hello." She greeted with a rich tone of reverence to the souls of the departed that may be nearby.
Ponies from earlier had left the impression with Mallina that this was not a land that most living soquili traveled so she felt it was safe to assume she was completely alone. This brought her guard to drop. She felt secure that she had to be the only living equine in the current area as she didn't note any other souls nearby. Then again, she didn't look immediately. She was far too fascinated by the various markers. "It is nice to meet you." She softly said to a few of the resting souls. With her green gaze on the ground, she didn't look towards the back with the structure to indicate another soquili may be within the area. It would take nothing to sneak up and surprise Mallina.WC: 364magnadearel Thankies for rping with me! I AM SO SORRY THIS TOOK FOREVER TO ESTABLISH!!!

Leena-chan My pleasure! I really love this pair, so I'm always happy to rp them. Lol that's quite alright! The important part is you got it started. ^_^ Veslorurn was off collecting materials, flowers or pretty things really, to place as offerings upon the gravestones. He took a certain amount of pride in his work. Not many else would. The crimson stallion wondered just how many neglected graveyards there might be as he methodically picked flowers from a field some distance away. Sadly it was all he could do to tend this one all year long. Which meant making sure the gravestones stayed up and mostly free of moss, and each one had at least a tiny offering just for it.
He tossed his head to move his forelock as he pondered which flowers to pick next. Maybe he should roam out a bit further and see there might be something new he could add to the bunch. In fall he'd get small branches with berries that looked rather festive. Though he suspected his mate purloined the ones with berries that she liked to eat and squirreled them away. The thought made him smile to himself. Charnette was feeling full of mischief this day. Things had been relatively quite, and there hadn't been many soq coming around. With her and her mate's pelts, plus a skinwalker hanging around she could see maybe why. Particularly if they didn't know her and Veslo were harmless, and the skinwalker happened to be a push over. Her made had gone out to pick flowers, so she'd decided to remain at the graveyard and clean the old wilted flowers away.
Just as she was coming back from dropping a load off, she spotted a gold and white mare coming to land in the graveyards. Her eyes widened in surprise for a moment, then narrowed as her wicked nature took over. The mare appeared completely oblivious. Granted she and her mate didn't leave much of a mark upon the place if they could help it. The chance was far too tempting to pass up. The blue mare stalked slowly closer, and flitted from tree shadow to tree shadow. She let out a low wailing call. Too bad it was daylight, but it was what she had to work with.
