Summer was ending, which meant the eternal struggle of sweating under his heavy leather outfit was almost through. Adonis was currently sitting on a park bench with his leather skirt hiked up, exposing his pale legs that might be too thin because it'd been too hot for him to have any motivation to actually work out. He'd do it the rest of the year. It was still a warm night, and felt like it was still in the mid-eighties despite no sun shining through. The park had cleared out early for some reason, which really put the Corrupted Senshi of Skin out. He really needed to fill his quota tonight. "Not going to do it sitting down," he muttered to himself in a rather grumpy fashion. Standing up, the skirt situated itself out at the same time he was whining because now he was going to be so moist under it. Whatever. A job was a job, even if he didn't get paid for it in anything but good job. Not that he needed anyone's validation, thank you very much.

Adria didn’t mind the summer months, but then, he didn’t have to worry about hot leather outfits. He had spent a good few months not powering up, by no fault of his own. He hadn’t asked to be put in the hospital, and he hadn’t asked to be out of commission while he healed—even if he had friends with healing magic, he’d still taken it easy.
It had taken some time for him to regain confidence but he was still overly cautious.
A near death experience was good for that.
He didn’t like the idea of approaching anyone in the Negaverse, but he wouldn’t have been a very good Senshi if he didn’t at least try. An energy signature was nearby and, with slight reluctance, he wandered towards it.
He wasn’t sure what he expected to find, but when his eyes landed on the Corrupted Senshi, he blinked.
He didn’t look like he was up to no good, so with slight hesitance, Adria raised a hand and greeted, “Hi.”
So eloquent.

With the tickle of an Order aura near him, Adonis feigned that he was unaware and unbothered by it. He was tensing up though. His hands were fisted at his side, and he'd straightened himself up enough to look at the other senshi when he came into sight and then spoke first. A little 'hi'. How cute. The boy was acute, his oufit was something Adonis was a little jealous over, if only because it looked breathable by comparison. If it weren't for the tension he was feeling around him, he might have said something cute and try to flirt with the guy. Instead he just arched a brow and got into a defensive stance. Adonis knew nothing about he boy's injuries, time in the hospital, or how weak he was. He knew most senshi didn't give quarter, even if they greeted first. One had to be ready. "What."

Adria blinked at the corrupted Senshi for a moment and shifted positions, hesitating a good few feet away.
“I said, ‘Hi’,” he repeated slowly, sounding like he was trying to figure out what he’d done or said that would have warranted such a bland response.
“You know, ‘Hello’ a greeting.” He didn’t seem like he was trying to pick a fight or like he was even trying to give the male any attitude; he simply repeated the words carefully, as if to ensure their meaning was understood.
“I didn’t think it would have been very polite to just come up to you and not say anything. Or maybe it would have been better to say nothing. I’m not quite sure how civil we’re supposed to be to each other.”

"I know what a greeting is," Adonis said, his voice still fairly bland and emotionless. His eyes, however, narrowed on the other, never looking away. Didn't know how civil they were supposed to be? He smirked. How new was this boy? A pink tongue darted out and licked at chapped lips before he stepped forward. It'd be intimidating, but that's what he wanted. Without much warning, Adonis took off at him in a sprint. The boy was only a few feet away, and Adonis' legs could make quick work of it. A fist was being drawn back as he hurled himself at this other, this newbie. Time to earn your scars, kid. It was Adonis' thought as he planted his left foot in front of the other and twisted his body around to swing that fist directly at the other's face. Part of him wanted this to miss, for the boy to dodge and roll, show potential of making smart decisions. So far the opposite was proven but it'd only been about a minute.

The Super Senshi seemed alarmed that the man was running right at him. His instinct told him that he didn’t want to be wherever this guy’s fist was going to wind up. He’d had plenty of bad run-ins to last him a lifetime and if he had his way about tonight, he’d make it home in one piece and without any bruises to show for it.
Adria’s instinct didn’t tell him to dodge and roll or to try and deflect the punch; instead, he ducked his head to avoid it hitting his face—and instinctively responded by trying to slam his head into Adonis’ neck.
Headbutting wasn’t his go-to—but then, violence wasn’t his go-to. He hadn’t really had an option in this case, so he was just trying to make the best of it.
“We don’t have to fight,” he blurted, and though he was hopeful he doubted it was enough to deter the corrupted Senshi.

Okay that he wasn't expecting. His neck was promptly headbutted, causing his air to cut off and a hard coughing started. He staggered back, grabbed at his throat as the cough continued. Drool fell from his lips as his body shook, trying to get air back into his lungs. The blond corrupts face had went red and honestly it wasn't a pretty look for him. He looked to the Senshi who ended up just pissing him off and let his eyes narrow at him. The idiot thought he could get away with cutting off his air and then run like that? "Yeah, okay," he bit out, voice a bit raspy. "Not after that." And Adonis sprinted forward again, not fully recovered, but with pure rage in his eyes.

Adria’s eyes flashed and he nearly stumbled backwards as he tried to avoid the Senshi before him. In hand to hand combat, he was almost certain he would lose. He could take a hit—or a few—but hew wasn’t so good at delivering them.
Magic, though. That was going to be his best bet.
He didn’t have much time to prepare, so as soon as he had enough breath in his lungs to speak he called out, “Adria Setting Suns!”
Almost immediately, three baseball sized orbs of light flashed into existence and he snatched them into his hands. He hurled the three of them towards Adonis—not quite at him, but close. As the orbs flew through the air, they glowed brightly—a soft, orange glow that looked like miniature suns. He hoped that the lights soaring through the air—or their subsequent setting—would be enough to distract Adonis. It didn’t have to be for long, just enough time for him to get away—before he wound up pulverized.
Again.
Peppermint Coffee Adria Setting Suns:Adria summons three baseball sized glowing orbs into his hand and is capable of throwing each one up to ten feet away. Once thrown, the orbs, mimicking a sun, will begin to set. Everyone within a five foot radius of the orb will feel a peaceful warmth wash over them; they will feel compelled to watch the orb set. It is relaxing but not threatening; the orb can do no damage to anyone who comes in contact with it nor the ground beneath it. The attack is primarily distraction and stronger willed individuals can break free of its spell. The multiple orbs increase the probability that even a strong willed opponent will not be able to break free of the distraction (if they are thrown in the same area), though it also gives him the opportunity to aim towards multiple targets if needbe. The attack will last for thirty seconds and can be used three times per battle.

When the senshi uttered those words, Adonis mentally cursed and waited for some kind of pain. Instead he got really bright orbs being thrown at his face that somehow made his body relax and stop to watch them. Adonis would sit there for a second or two (or more) and just watch the pretty setting suns. It seemed just before they faded did the Super Senshi of skin realize that it was a compulsion magic. An annoyed growl ripped from his throat as his pale eyes looked around for that brightly colored senshi. Unfortunately for him, the other boy was gone. Now he was just completely unsatisfied and full of rage. He pushed a hand through his hair, not being very gentle about it, and just let out an almost screaming growl of frustration. "I HATE senshi."
