 Fauna had been working hard on the Theater. She had spoken with the Magnus, Chronos, and sought out recruiting new members. Now, she had a stage hand, an actor and a costume designer. They were a small group, but they were growing and Fauna's confidence was growing with it. Now she had others to direct. She had set her newest costumer to go look through the old fabrics and costumes and see if there was anything he wanted to re-vamp. She had her actor looking at old plays to see if there was any that called out to him for some of the time and out helping her recruit others whenever she went out. As for her stage hand? Since he technically had seniority, being one of the former members of the Theater that she had met with and encouraged to come back, she let him do mostly as he wished, which was maintenance and helping the others.
Which is what she was doing, at the time being. She was cleaning up the stage, dusting off surfaces and curtains and washing the floors with water, soap and if she could find any in the back room, wax. She was still in the midst of washing it down and was scooting a cloth over its surface with her front paws and pushing herself and the cloth forward with her back.
This would be easier with others helping. She thought, but she sighed. The others just wanted to take to their calling, not do the grunt work. And Fauna wasn't complaining, she knew what she would have to do to make this place looking spiffy again, it was just... difficult.
"Everyone wants to do the fun jobs." She muttered. Was this what being a stage manager really was? Well, no matter. She hadn't started this endeavor hoping to have a fun job. If she had wanted to do that, she could have become a toy-maker. No, she was here because she was meant to be and she was ready to put everything, fun and not, into the job she had chosen. Still... it would be nice to find someone who was willing to help ME out from time to time.WC: 368

 He'd heard the rumors, whistling through the vines. Stories that the theater would once again return to its proud heritage. Whether he believed them or not ... well that was somewhat of a longer and totally different story. He'd heard them before, these rumors that one hears and passes without a seconds thought. But this time he felt, there could be more to it. The whispers seemed to gain their traction, as popular rumors do. Becoming more and more detailed as they passed from one whisperer to the next. Each time he'd heard them, he'd lean a little closer. Expecting to hear something new, but it wasn't until recently that his ears had truly begun to listen.
There was word of a young Nantlil, who dreamed of returning the stage to what it once was. Of course, there was always mention of some Nan or Taht with ambitions that far exceeded their abilities. But this time, it seemed the Nan might be worth more than the whispers he'd been hearing. It seemed she'd gotten the blessing of Chronos for her endeavors. Something that he felt deserved his attention.
So now here he stood, surrounded by the memories of a life he'd been forced to leave. His eyes and ears scanning the busy theater floor. He could hear the typical creaks of the floor, the loud tattle that someone was nearby. But what truly gave her position away was the all too true words she mumbled.
His lips creased into a small smirk as he chuckled at her words.
"Doesn't that always seem to be the case though?"
He chimed in as he approached, careful to mind the clean floors as he did so. "Of course, 'fun jobs' can be a bit subjective ... wouldn't you say?" He paused a moment, before sitting back on his haunches. "What one sees as fun, another sees as simply a means to an end. Though, it seems you're pretty content with your job." Flashing a bit friendlier of a smile, the awkward Taht flicked his tail as he ended his sentence.

Fauna looked up from her work on the floors and took her paws off the waxy cloth she was currently wiping the surface with. There was someone new who had entered the Theatre and they were considerably more important than the task at paw.
She moved first to retrieve her crown, which she had left at the edge of the stage while she was working. Looping her tail through it, she proceeded to toss it atop her head and center it with the help of her ears. Now she deemed herself fully presentable and lowered herself to look at the Tah, a smile on her face.
"It's true, I enjoy the work I do, hard though it may be." Her tail curled in merriment in having someone to speak with; she loved new faces in the Theatre."I would not have began my endeavor to return the Theatre to its former glory, had I not been ready to put my effort towards every aspect of making it wonderful. While I may enjoy acting, I also enjoy overseeing each part of the Theatre that can make it grand, from the costumes to the set design to cleaning." Her smile broadened. "The work is hard, but that makes me enjoy it a little more, too."
She inclined her head towards the Tah, her eyes alight with interest.
"But enough about me, who might you be? I haven't seen you in the Theatre before, but goodness knows I'm always happy to see new faces here." She informed him pleasantly.WC: 255 Depawsit Gadzooks! I'm sorry this took so long! Are you still interested in continuing the RP?
