Amber was sitting on a bench as she relaxed in the light of dusk, she held one leg to her chest as she swayed the other back and forth trying to keep her self-calm, it was hard to hide her deep dark orange flushed cheeks, she sighed staring at her bag in front of her full of a few things, sweet potato chips and pumpkin flavored things, even a few drinks just in case, she sat up gently slapping her cheeks again " urrg why am I so nervous" she said aloud to her self as she then rubbed the back of her neck. She rested her arm on her leg as she gazed up, waiting and watching out for him, she kind of wished she used a picture of her self on her profile, but it couldn't be helped. as time passed she fidgeted with her shorts and kicked a few rocks, walking around close to the bench.

 Treat was going as fast as he could and he was crazy nervous, what if Thing didn't like him in person what if he made a fool of himself in front of them?? He should have slowed down and taken a breath but instead, he was rushing and managed to trip on his own tail in front of the bench thing was sitting on. His ears dropped they were soo going to laugh at him and then he was going to have to put on a tough front to protect himself and he would never have a friend besides his sibling Trick. Treat really wanted a friend other than his sibling. Treat was nervous to look up afraid Thing would now think that he was a clutz and never like him.

She exhaled calming her self down enough to be prepared to give a proper in person introduction but as she looked up she jumped back in surprise as a candycorn colored blur flew into vision and flopped in front of her, she nearly jumped out of her skin, but as she realized that he had fallen over she looked down. and as he looked up she was crouching down beside him knees against her body" hey, you ok ?" she asked offering him her hand to help him up. she was a bit curious now as she saw him "a..are you candycorn?" she inquired as she wanted to make sure. she could only help but give him a friendly smile, though it wasn't what she would normally do to a complete stranger, he was different, even if they had only bonded for a few hours, she felt like she would be able to be her self around somebody like him. but that didn't mean that her tough exterior would completely be dissolved.

Treat looked up slowly he didn't hear any laughing or anger as he had feared, what he did see was several beautiful eyes. Their colors were very pretty and the shade of orange before him was pretty too. He nodded when he was asked if he was ok, embarrassed as hell but he wasn't hurt, maybe a little dust in his fur but otherwise fine. He finally got himself together to speak when the being asked if he was candy corn. He smiled and said "Yup I'm CandyCornTreat but you can call me Treat and your ThingofHorror??" He was tempted to tell them how lovely he thought they were his cheeks heated and darkened in color. Treat felt a connection with Thing that he hadn't felt with anyone else he got up and took a seat next to Thing and waited for them to tell him their name.

she smiled as she heard that he was in-fact the right nightmare, she pulled her self up and plopped down with haste into the bench now that he was sitting there " Ya, I'm ThingOfHorror, My name is Amber Shadows, it's nice to meet you in person" she said as she slightly turned to face him. "sorry for asking you to come so suddenly, I know it's strange but I think we could get to know one another much better this way" she explained as she reached into her bag pulling out the bag of chips she promised to bring "and I brought the chips, hope you like them. I have some drinks too, just in case." she grabbed the sides of the bag pulling them apart with a bit of a crinkle and finally a pop, she held the bag over to him, as she found it a bit hard to look straight at him.But the eyes on her hands made that, even more, dificult as they looked straight at him.

Treat grinned learning Thing's name was Amber Shadows "That is a beautiful name." Treat said softly he was having a great time, even though he was worried sick that he would make a fool of himself. Treat shook his head and then said "No Amber I'm really glad you asked I'm really happy to get to meet you in person so soon." He said with a grin. "I think you're right, plus now I don't have to wait and wonder what those chips taste like." Treat took and drink and smiled "Thanks Amber." He really liked the sound of her name and enjoyed saying it. Treat fluttered his wings and he took a couple sweet potato chips to try. "These are great." He said smiling again. Enjoying hanging out with Amber he hoped she liked him as much as he liked her.

She looked away quickly, her cheeks deepened in color once more as he complimented her name "t..thanks" she said trying not to be so shy. or stutter so often, she had never met someone so nice as she grinned. "Same here." she replied as she took a few chips for her self-popping them into her mouth as she watched the other students pass them by, enjoying the moment. "yeah they are pretty great aren't they? I have quite a few imported treats from the above and the below." she said as she began to relax but she stared at her bag intently as she had something else she wanted to give to him. but she wasn't quite ready to do that yet. " You're pretty cool," she said out of nowhere " and I think I'm going to enjoy getting to know you better." she tried her best not to show that she had been blushing as she hid it behind a smile her hand rubbing the back of her neck.

Treat was looking at Amber and eating sweet potato chips, watching them blush they looked so cute. He wanted to reach out and touch their hand, but he was really nervous and he didn't want to freak Amber out or go too fast. So he sat there with them eating snacks and watching the other students walk by, with no rush to their day just spending time, almost like a first date with Amber though he wasn't planning to point that out. "Really? That's kool I've never been to the above or had much from the above, Trick and I were imbued here in the below and.. yea.." Treat grinned it was like Amber could read his mind sometimes. "Your really cool too." He reached out and touched Amber's hand slowly trying to freak them out but also he wanted them to know that he felt something for them more than that of strangers.

She listened to him with a smile on her face. " looks like I'll have to share my snacks with you then, won't I?" she asked as she stared straight forward seeing all the leaves had begun to become bright in color, not many leaves were changing but it was a good sign fall was drawing near and she was excited for that. "I'm looking forward to Fall, I feel like so much good will come out of it, more hollows, tuns of.." she stopped as she had noticed he had tried to reach for her hand, her cheeks deepened in color as she continued to speak " well lots of fun things," she said as eventually this time when he reached for her hand again she interlaced her fingers with his, though discreetly, she now held his hand, which made her heart pound in her chest, there was no mistaking this, as she stared at the ground. "I..I guess I'm not the only one who has been feeling like this since we met," she stared as she looked to him, she looked happy. like her world was melting around her. she was tempted to pinch her self, or even slap her cheeks to check if she was dreaming. It was so hard for her to be her more or less usual self, how she always had a tough appearance to her, a side of her everyone else saw, all except him, He melted her world.

Treat grinned "And I'll have to find treats to share with you too. Only fair." Treat noticed as well he was excited for falls for haunted hallows his favorite holiday and the season of his awakening. "I'm looking forward to fall too it was Trick and my awakening month and I love haunted hallows. Treat held Amber's hand firmly "It's alright I get what you mean." Treat didn't think being a hallow was bad, the only bad thing was many who imbue in October the stones didn't awaken and that was sad and heart breaking. Treat hoped that didn't happen to him, it was the only thing that worried him about imbuing in October. "Lots of fun." Treat grinned "I still think you should make plushies for the festival." He said in a confident tone.Treat's heart pounded too when he heard Amber say out loud bringing to light their connection. Treat leaned forward and said "Nope you're not the only one." Then he leaned forward to try and kiss Amber on the cheek.

she thought of the possible goodies he could bring for them both to have." yeah sounds like a good deal to me, so make sure you do." she said teasing him a bit as she felt his hand grasp hers tighter as she scooted a bit closer to him."
I think I will then, ya know. make some of my plushies for the hunted hollows. I'll make enough for everyone to have." she said as she heard him confirm the way she felt, finding it harder than ever to control her heart, but once, he kissed her cheek her face became bright like a candied apple. she looked towards him and gave him a kiss back. all while she did she pulled out the plushie, it was black, yellow, orange and an off white color, with a few decorative touches it had 3 eyes and a soft squishy belly," here. I.. I want you to keep this." she said as she handed it to him. and then held his hand once more. seeing it was nearly their curfew, she was beginning to dread having to leave."let's stay like this for a little bit longer. please?"
