((setting: A room near the Wingers class when: Break time, fast-forwarded to this point for convenience xD))
Vivina was relieved that it was break. She needed some time to get her sense together. What better way was there than to talk and forget about your worries? She saw that Gabby was returning to the room from where ever she went. She needed someone lively to talk to and after going through the list of all the other flyers, Gabby seemed to be the right person to talk with. Grabbing her hat, she bounced up to the other girl and greeted her.
"Hi! My name's Vivina and your name's Gabby right? Mind if I talk to you to pass the time?" She smiled and realized her glasses had slipped down her nose again. Pushing them back up, she looked at Gabby to see if she had startled her or not with the sudden introduction.
((gah, was trying for a flatsale elsewhere while I was typing this up xP))

Vivina blinked as she saw Gabby's eyes inspecting her. Not being used to being looked over by others, she turned around and wondered if she had anything wrong with her. Returning to focus in order to answer Gabby, her hat fell over her eyes and she giggled. "Thankies. My mom has slipper pets also! I think there are too many though...the house has one in every room." Giggling some more, she observed Gabby's many colors closely and compared her to her own brown and black fur. They were different in many ways, but that shouldn't stop them from being friends.
Grinning, she clapped her hands together. "Ok! That sounds like a great idea! We can get cushions from other rooms!" Again she giggled and she wondered how they were going to practice. They couldn't jump off of desks since it wasn't as high and it would be next to useless. Pondering on this, she didn't notice that Gabby had started to walk back out of the room.
Running to catch up, she looked over at where they'd be going. She stopped to see the room they stopped at. "Ooh, empty...That's good." Peeking in, she turned on the lights so it wouldn't be as dark. She looked back towards Gabby as she heard a question. "Yyyyyeah....It didn't hurt badly, but I thought I was going to be..." She dropped off the word 'eaten' and spoke without any indication that she dropped it off. "I was scared. I thought I lost control of my gliding and started to go down to the ground, That was the scary part." Pausing, she walked around a bit to clear her head and to think straight again. "Yes, gliding is fun. It's easier than flying I think, but flying makes you go to different places far away when gliding only takes you short distances." Sighing, she began to look for cushions and found some in a corner. "Gabby! Help me put these on the ground. Maybe we can jump on them!" Vivina took one and jumped on it to be sure if they could use it. To her surprise, the cushions felt like mini trampolines. Smiling, she grabbed some and started to place them around the room.

Nodding, Vivina grinned. "Yep! Lots! Two of the foxes and a cat don't like me, but then again they hate everyone!" She laughed and remembered the time where Colin and she got Shirokawa pissed off. Ah yes, the narcissist of a fox got angry at them and threw a hissy fit right in front of the two. She did learn a lesson that day: Don't play with a vain fox's fur.
"You think everyone was amazed at my crash? I thought they would hate me and laugh. Oh well." She smiled and felt relieved when Gabby assured that she didn't humiliate herself. "Ooh, yeah. That's very true!" Vivina placed a cushion on the ground and grabbed another. Some were satin, others velvet. The cotton ones were nice and the leather ones smelled bad. She wondered how many different kinds of cushion there were. D-Corp seems to have a lot of everything.
As soon as all the cushions were placed out over a nice area of the floor, she followed Gabby and jumped on the cushions as well. The cushions were very bouncy and soft and could easily break a fall. She felt as if she was in one of those bouncy castles you can find at fairs and amusement parks. Twirling in circles, Vivina giggled and tried not to lose her glasses and her hat. Well she didn't want her hat to be ruined so she tossed it over to a chair where it fortunately landed in the seat and not splat onto the wall behind. She turned around at her name being called. "Yeah Gabby?" Seeing Gabby nearly fall, she laughed and bounced over to Gabby. "Careful! Don't wanna break anything before class starts again!"

"Haha! I guess he has to with you around! I have to get one of the foxes to talk. She doesn't like anyone and I don't know why." Oh yes, the emo fox. The female fox born from a male fox and a male rabbit, both by the name of Jack. Vivina didn't know what was so wrong about that, but then again she was still young. Well no one can stay sad and depressed forever, can they? Vivina will have to change the fox's attitude and outlook on life when she's older. "Really? Haha...I suppose others think it was amazing also. Whee!"
Vivina looked up at her hair flying around and then to Gabby who was staring at it. Vivina grinned and laughed. "Yep! Mom said that she got me with pink hair. I love it!" Continuing her jumping, she looked at Gabby's dress. It was very pretty and the spots looked really nice against the pink. "Ooh, I like you dress! It's pretty! Mom made me wear this purple shirt and these shorts. She didn't want my pink and purple dress to be ruined." She pulled at her shirt which was two sizes too big. She didn't mind the looseness at all; it let her use her patagiums freely.
"Yeah, if you break a bone or a wing, it hurts a lot or so my mom says." Vivina laughed at herself for not being clear on things and thought on Gabby question. "Me break anything? Besides cups and things like that, I never broke anything too big." That was true. Vivina had broken ceramic coffee mugs several times and almost broke Et's favorite mug. She learned not to hold fragile cups after having her hands covered in any sort of sticky or slippery material. Feeling Gabby grab her hand, Vivina snapped back into focus and giggled. "Whee! Yes, let's!" and with that, she jumped off the couch as hard as she could, trying to reach the ceiling. From her height, the ceiling seemed far away.

Nodding in agreement, Vivina realized that everyone was quite, even her. Maybe it was because everyone was afraid of class. Et always said that going to a new class can be scary at first so she shouldn't be worried if no one talks. "I think some people are scared to talk to people they don't know. I don't get scared to talk to new people cause Mom says that in order to make new friends, I need to talk to them first. Sometimes the other person walks away after I say hi. I don't know why they do that though." She cocked her head to the right and shrugged. One of her goals, she mentally noted, was to find out about why people did these strange things.
Vivina's eyes widened and giggled. "You fell in a swamp? I've never been to a swamp before. Mom says that it's too dirty. She lets me run through mud though. I think that's because swampy stuff doesn't wash off as well as mud. I've gotten muddy lots of times, mostly when it rains!" She grinned and the thought of running in the rain flashed through her head. "Mom bought me the dress before I got my glasses. It comes with a pretty black scarf also! And you should come over someday! I have to ask Mom first, but I think she'll let you." Smiling, she told herself to ask her mom about having Gabby over one day. "Yeah! Sahra's highlights are pretty! If Sahra can get highlights in her hair, I think you can get pink ones." She paused to catch her breath. "I wanted to get my hair all pink, but Mom said that the black part matches with my fur. Someday I'm gonna get my hair purple also. Think it would match?"
"I hope these cushions are soft enough if we fall. The cushions in Orpheus's room looked kinda hard." Timing her breathing, she looked over at Gabby. She giggled over the part about Gabby's mother dropping something and then thought on how to practice flying while jumping. She saw Gabby flapping her wings and an idea popped into her head. "Hey Gabby, maybe if you can try to float in the air after jumping up. Like flap your wings after a big jump. I don't have any wings so I don't know what I'll do. Maybe I can flap my arms and pretend I had wings!" She giggled again and jumped happily.

"Some people just don't like to talk I guess. I don't know why." Vivina listened to Gabby talk and nodded in agreement. She would smile and shake her head at times, but still she had to agree with what Gabby said. She giggled at her comment and grinned. "Yush! We should play detective and figure stuff out, if it doesn't hurt our heads too much. Mom said that thinking too much at a time can hurt."
Confused by Gabby's sudden grin, she blinked a few times and continued to jump. Vivina laughed at what Gabby said and nearly fell backwards. "Oh, Mom won't be too happy then. But spots are pretty! Like the ones on your dress and Sahra's spots also! Oh, and I think I saw a guy who had lots of spots too! He looked really cool." Giggling some more, she grinned as wide as she could. "Hehe, I can ask my mom if she can buy some hair dye kit thingies. Not like the temporarily ones. Those wash out easily. I can't wait!" Her glasses bounced up and down on her nose, but never flew off. She looked down at them crosseyed and wonder how that was possible.
"Really? I thought the cushions looked kinda hard. I dunno...but landing on someone felt really hard! It's bumpy and very uncomfortable." Vivina jumped back a bit to see Gabby try to execute her idea. She clapped as Gabby managed a few seconds in mid-air. She giggled and bounced back to Gabby. "Okies! It's good the cushions here are very soft." She looked around and saw a cabinet drawer alongside desks and bookshelves. "Ooh, what about those over there? They look about as high as the first branch. If we move some cushions over we can try to do what we did in class. I might have to stop myself from gliding into a wall though. That would hurt a lot more than running into a wall!"

Vivina giggled some more. "I hurt my head trying to think of ideas for a party, but Mom said that it was because I wasn't used to thinking big stuff like that. When I think a lot about my favorite things and stuff like that, my head doesn't hurt." She blinked and watched Gabby think. No pain? That was good. She grinned and spun around while in the air. "Ooh, that's a cool name! Maybe I can ask my mom if we can borrow the dress up clothes! There's tons of stuff in there!"
"Haha...I love these glasses! And no, I can't see really well without them. My mom says that these glasses are super strong and should not be worn by anyone else. That means my eye sight is really bad. I hate flash cameras!" She went on a small rant on the horrors of bright flash cameras and huffed at the end as she caught her breath. Vivina then calmed down and sat on the cushion. "Sorry, the photo man used the wrong mirror thing when he tricked me into thinking that the mirror didn't have a camera behind it." Changing the subject, she regained her happiness and bounced back up again. "Anyway, Pink is a pretty color with almost anything! Ooh, I can't wait to ask my mom!"
"Yep! No person to hurt!" She skipped over to the desk and climbed it. "Okies, I'll go first and see what I can do" She looked on across the room. It was a large and wide room so there was plenty of space for her to turn and glide around in. Preparing herself, she spread her arms out and took a deep breath. "I'll try and not to hit the wall. Well, here I go..." She jumped off the desk high and gracefully and felt the sudden force of the air filling up the membranes. Now spreading out her legs to even out her weight, she glided around the room at a decent speed. She didn't want to go too slow and she also didn't want to go too fast, though one day she may be able to go as fast as the real sugar gliders can.
She turned her body slowly to turn around before hitting the wall and came towards the cushions. Now for the landing, the dreaded landing. Thinking hard, she tried to figure out when to pull her feet under her and let all the air out from under the patagiums. Three two one...She pulled her legs under and straightened up and felt contact with the cushions. Her feet slipped and she fell forward. Oops, a second or two too early. At least she was getting the hang of it.
"Gabby! I almost landed properly! Did you see? My head hurts a bit for thinking too hard, but It helped! I never could land like that before!" She ran up to the lovebird and gave her a hug. Grinning, she then wanted to see if Gabby can get the hang of flying. She knew that flying was harder to learn, but Gabby seemed determined enough and Vivina had faith in her. "Your turn! Oh, I can't wait! I reaaaally hope you fly a bit for more than a few seconds! The feeling of floating around is so amazing!"

Vivina grinned and giggled herself. "I got lots of stuff to try on! Police officer, wizard, penguin, and even fruit costumes! They're all of my mom's leftover clothes from when she was younger!" She clapped her hands together and watched Gabby mimic a pirate. "Haha...maybe get something to bury and look for. Oh, like a mini treaure hunt! Those are always fun! I loved the last one I went to. The gold is all shiny and in my room!
She listened to Gabby talk and shrugged and nodded every so often. "Camera people seem nice at first, but then they do anything to take pictures...like the pap...pap...pap-ur-at-zee? I heard the TV say something like that. Well those people are evil! So many cameras!" She then tilted her head as a strange look appeared on Gabby. She didn't know why Gabby was doing that, but she smiled and rocked back and forth on her feet.
Vivina giggled and bowed. "You really think so? I thought I did really well also! I landed almost right!" She smiled and stepped back to see Gabby try. She sat on a chair and watched Gabby jump. She smiled and clapped when Gabby managed to stay in the air. "Woo! You're doing great!" She watched until Gabby turned around, but closed her eyes as she fell down. Ouch, turning was something that everyone with wings didn't learn how to do.
Vivina stood up and was tackled down. "Ahaha...See thinking too hard hurts your head. But also falling down can hurt your head...But still, flying is so fun! You actually flew!" She giggled and jumped around in circles, bouncing back on the cushions again. This time, she jumped and tried to reach her toes. Maybe this will help her land? She needed to be flexible and so trying to do this activity might help. She jumped and managed to touch the tip of her shoes and landed on her bottom side.
