WHACK A WALKER
Character Name: Kari
Result: 3/6 win
Kari rounded the gymnasium to find a small ramshackle booth manned by two gnomes, one of which looked as though he were about to fall over from boredom. As she made her way towards them, one of the gnomes called out in a booming voice. She jumped back, only easing out of a defensive stance when she identified one of the gnomes as the culprit. The more lethargic one simply waved his partner off, handing the ghoul a mallet with instructions to hit... toy zombies? Alright, she could handle that.
The first one caught her by surprise, while the second and third were met with a swift hit each. The fourth was just far away enough that Kari managed to just miss it. She beamed as she got the fifth toy, not even caring that the sixth one skirted right under her without notice.
The reaper was surprised when she received a gold dragon instead of a minipet. "Well, this is new... what do I do with this?", she pondered for a moment before stowing the trinket away.

ARCHERY RANGE
Character Name: Kari
Result: Round 1: 10 points - win
The next game looked to center around archery. An aiming game, she could definitely do this! Taking up the bow and quiver from the gnome, she tried not to laugh at the suction cup stuck to the end. Well, at least there wouldn't be any danger of accidental impalement should her aim go astray. Pulling back the string, she carefully lined up her arrow with the target, and let the projectile fly.
She jumped in excitement as her shot landed dead center on the target. Her aim had definitely improved from when she first started, and it was nice to see visible proof of her progress. She could barely contain her smile as she was handed another gold dragon.

The reaper next approached... a dance floor, complete with flashing lights that made her cringe... covered in strange birds wearing armor? Tilting her head at the scene before her, she barely noticed the figure approaching her. Apparently these birds were ruining something, and she was being tasked with scaring them away.
Summoning her staff, she conjured a flame and shot towards one of the birds. As the light turned blue, she felt her movements become sluggish. Somehow, it managed to... dance?... out of the way, giving her a smug look in the process. How could it even do that, it has a beak!

A grouchy expression marred her face as she took aim at the bird, determined to hit her mark. The lights flared green as she arched her shot to land where the bird was headed. Kari clenched her staff in triumph as her flame landed square in the bird's face, sending it into the air and away from the dance floor.
"That will teach you to get a big head...", she muttered to herself as she accepted a gold dragon for her efforts.

The One Genre to Rule Them All
Character Name: Kari
Result: 25-50: You find some sort of blade that looks like a key. This just angers the first gnome even more. Best leave it there.
As the ghoul continued on, the sound of fighting caught her attention. Easing around a pile of hay, she caught sight of two gnomes arguing and... she really didn't know what the other creature was, but it seemed upset about something.
As she listened to the conversation, she was able to glean that an item... a ring... was missing. As the mystery creature looked towards the hay, Kari seemed to realize what needed to be done. Reaching into the pile, she felt around for any traces of metal. As her fingers brush against a cold object, she grabbed on to fish it out. What she pulled out certainly wasn't a ring, or even resembling a ring in any shape or form. At the first gnome's angry snarl, she placed the object back into the hay and jogged away from the trio. Maybe she could try again later...

Stepping up the tent once more, she was handed the mallet. Unfortunately, the ghoul didn't see the toy on the ground and tripped, missing the start of the game. Scrambling to her feet, she just barely managed to hit the third and fourth zombie toys. She missed the fifth one trying to right herself, but slammed down on the final target.
Well, at least she had managed to win the game.

Kari felt a bit discouraged by her lackluster performance at the whack a zombie game. Sure, she had still won, but she felt like she did just a bit worse today.
Taking up the bow and arrow, her thoughts distracted her enough that she just barely managed to hit the target.

She needed to calm down... getting angry wouldn't help. Trying to take a breath, she notched her last arrow. As she fired off her arrow, a noise caught her attention. She watched in dismay as she managed to get just a bit closer, but not close enough to pass in the gnome's eyes.
Setting aside the bow and arrow, Kari trudged away from the game.

Lighting some annoying birds on fire could be a good method of venting... right? Kari willed herself to believe she was justified as she conjured some fire and sent to towards the dance floor. The lights above flashed orange, and her shot just barely missed its mark.
"Oh, come on", she grumbled as she readied another volley.

The light flashed green as she fired her last bit of flame. She felt like cheering as her shot landed on a bird, singing its feathers in the process.
"Take that, you pompous little... I don't even know or care what you are", she called out as the bird gave the ghoul a nasty glare. As long as the got that statue, she was golden.

Result: 50-75: You find a wooden stick. ("Thats a magic wand, and it belongs to a wizard-" "WRONG. STORY" ).
Coming to the haystack, Kari noticed the same two gnomes were arguing. Meanwhile the other creature just looked at the hay in a forlorn way. She felt kind of bad for... him?
Searching the pile for a few minutes only managed to yield a stick. This, of course, only had the result of causing a new tirade int he pair of gnomes fighting next the the hay. Guess it would just be better to try again later... maybe once the gnomes calmed down a bit.

Taking up the mallet once more, Kari hoped her luck would be much better than yesterday. It had been a poor show of skill, to say the least.
Stepping up to the holes, the reaper cheered when she got the first toy, but realized her mistake a bit too late when the second, third, and fourth toys came and went. She hastily slammed down onto the fifth and sixth ones, relieved that she had managed to pass, gaining a gold dragon.
Why did it seem like she could only manage three hits each time. It was still half and it was passing, but... she felt like she could do better...
