The truth was, he had taken so many trips by himself that he felt like he might lose his mind, and each new Senshi seemed to bring something new to Mirrorspace. Or, maybe it was just his imagination. At the very least, it was a better way to pass the time—and it was killing two birds with one stone. He got company while exploring Mirrorspace and to spend time getting to know members of the Court better.
Two things that never hurt.
He had given Markeb this opportunity and they had agreed to meet here, now. Or, technically, within the next ten minutes, but Remarque found that being early was always better than being late. He arrived at the designated fountain in the park, near to a mirror safely tucked away. He’d checked on it already to make sure it was in one piece, to make getting into—and out of—Mirrorspace easier for the both of them.
He was standing, listening to the fountain bubble behind him. He kept himself aware of his surroundings, particularly the approaching energy signatures, but his eyes were on the stars above.
