Alphard was not a CRIMINAL criminal. Sure he did some questionable things but he also did so in the name of justice and moral right and civic action against a system designed to oppress the masses. The masses typically being minorities and anyone not rich. So while technically, he was breaking the law, he liked to think that his law breaking was productive. Helpful even. As he sprayed the bright blue text over a wall known to usually promote a local skin head gang, ‘DOWN WITH THE’ was done and he was considering to just put ‘SICKNESS’ for kicks of finish in pink with ‘THE PATRIARCHY’. Picking up the pink spray can he settled on his original. The man could eat it.

Mamertine had only been powered up for a short while tonight when he became aware of an energy signature that seemed to have stagnated nearby. It hadn’t gone far since he’d first noticed it, and curiosity or good intentions ultimately demanded that he investigate.
He didn’t have any preconceived notions on what he would find, but he hadn’t exactly expected this.
“You know,” Mamertine began, “Despite whatever your intentions might be, criminal mischief is still, you know, criminal. Vandalism won’t get you far. If you’re intending to make a statement, you really ought to do something a bit more proactive than spray paint a wall.”
He approached without hesitation and carried himself with obvious pride and dignity, but it was clear that he disapproved of this display.

Jumping at the sudden voice paired with the presence Alphard fumbled for a moment with the pink spray can nearly dropping it, (thank god it did not, he had no desire to be covered in paint tonight). “Um excuse you but, what?” Alphard processed the information the guy, knight, whatever, provided and decided, no, he was wrong, this was just a nice heaping helping of civil justice with a side of color. Graffiti was an art form anyway. Usually. “Uh, sorry dude, but this is totally not vandalism. It’s creative artistic expression.” It was vandalism. “But I mean, sure, let the patriarchy win, I’m sure it benefits you heaps. What you going to do about it though?” Alphard started to shake the can as threatening as one could shake a spray can of pink paint. “Fight me?”

Mamertine cocked his head just slightly to the side and he looked at the Senshi with obvious scrutiny. His brows knit, a mixture of confusion and dissatisfaction.
“It wasn’t my intention, but,” he said slowly, and straightened his head. “If I must. Or you could be a good little boy and put your paints, go home, and find a legal outlet for your ‘artistic expression’.”
He eyed the painted wall. “Do you really think a little spray paint is going to threaten ‘the patriarchy’ anyway? All you’re doing is giving city workers one more thing to clean up.”
He looked back to Alphard. “And wasting time, yours and mine.”

Alphard didn't get this guy. Not intending to fight but slamming down on fighting the good fight against the system? The heck dude, talk about some A grade stupid in Alphard's mind. "One, maybe I had a permit but some pasty a** cop took it because he thought it was fake but ya know." Alphard had no such permit ever in his life. Did he look the type to just have money like that? "Two, art that must be legal to be considered art only further displays a system of oppression by which those in power may assert authority over those unable to fight them and thus, does not portray an open medium by which a person may express themselves." He was on a role, hot damn. "Three, yes, because nothing is more fragile than a white man's ego." He was grinning. "Just like how your panties are in a bunch because you cant stand some senshi telling off a bunch of thugs in a way you don't like man." Alphard turned a resumed spraying. "Oh right, boy."

The corner of Mamertine’s eyes twitched; there was no hiding the agitation he was feeling. He’d had punks like this in his courtroom before, and it took great restraint to resist saying the things that popped into his head.
“If you had a permit,” he said slowly, “and the police officer questioned its validity, he would have called a number to verify. Not taken it from you. And it pains me greatly to feel the need to remind you that the art is legal. Where you choose to paint it, is not. So your first two arguments don’t stand up, I’m afraid. As for ego.”
He sighed, heavily; he clenched his gavel tightly and resisted the blatant desire to hurl it at this kid.
“I understand how difficult it must be to accept that you’re in the wrong. I’ve asked, politely, mind you, and give you ample warning. The blatant rudeness reflects poorly on you. But, rest assured. If you’d prefer, we don’t have to play by my rules.”
He could play by Alphard’s.
Mamertine tucked his gavel away; Alphard’s back was to him and he was painting away. So, Mamertine moved forward without further warning and shoved his arm against the Senshi’s back. The goal wasn’t to cause harm, just keep him there for long enough to pluck the can from the Senshi’s hand.
He did, claiming it for his own—and then turned the nozzle onto the Senshi. He held down the nozzle, aimed at the Senshi’s face, and figured that, by Alphard’s logic, this was art.iStoleYurVamps Let me know if this is okay or if you want an edit!

"Spoken like a true white ********." Alphard scoffed, clearly unimpressed with the knight's defense of police. "You think they give a s**t about rules when your skin isn't white? Check yourself at the door with reality." Blue eyes narrowed at the knight starting to get the feeling that this man was the type to be all real about the laws and s**t. "Besides, you're a terrorist now. You think the police going to not shoot you just because you aren't breaking the law?" Check and mate sir high and mighty. Too busy finishing his spraying to bother looking back, he had no warning for the sudden steal and spray. "AUGH ********." He yelled, grabbing his face and spitting. Paint tasted nasty as hell. "You ******** stupid ******** ********." His cloak brought up, he started wiping at his eyes. "You know s**t is toxic and can blind right? JESUS ********." He might not be fighting, but he was cussing up a ******** hell you stupid ******** a*****e."

“Does my art offend you?” Mamertine asked with mock concern. “I suppose you’d better go home and flush your eyes with some water, to be on the safe side.”
He dismissed the canister of spraypaint to subspace, not wanting to risk Alphard trying to steal it back. Truthfully, he didn’t want to hurt him, but he wouldn’t deny that there was a bit of satisfaction in doing so.
He severely doubted any attempt to explain his thoughts or morals would have meant anything to the Senshi in front of him; he didn’t want to bother trying. He did manage to say, “Your view of the world is distorted. There is corruption,” he admitted, “But it doesn’t apply to everyone. You’re not a terrorist for what you wear, you’re a terrorist for what you do, and I haven’t broken any laws.”
‘Yet’, rang in the back of his mind; he had plans. He couldn’t deny them out loud but not to himself.
But then, he understood justice. He was justice.
Anything he did was in the name of justice.

Cursing up a storm, Alphard managed to spit out a fair amount, and remove what he could from his eyes. Glaring and in pain, the senshi sneered still. "Says the guy that just assaulted me." Grunting, he winced as his eye flared up in pain. "I swear if end up blind I'm going to make you pay for my glasses and cane a*****e." He turned and ran off, his work uncompleted, but, there were bigger problems. Like actual toxicity. <******** YOU DUDE." Was all he left the other man with.
