I am obsessed with vitamins and essential oils.
I have been diagnosed with carpel tunnel syndrome, tendinitis and fibromyalgia. I don't know if that's accurate. I just know my symptoms match and a few doctors told me that's what I got. So I tried their medicines. Lots of em. And it didn't help. Made my life worse. One pill made me sleep at least 12 hours a night. Others were worse. So I gave up.
Then I started making peppermint oil lotion and using it where I hurt. It really helped. It only takes the pain away briefly but hey it was a better reaction than I got from pills. Now I mix in Lavender as well.
I started taking 4 new vitamins. I've really seen an improvement all over my body, other than my wrists. xD But wow it helps so much more than the medication did.
So with my self help I'm not curing my problem, but I'm treating it better than the doctors were. And naturally. And I'm also not doing the exercises I'm supposed to. I'm too greedy with my free time. xD I swear I'll do em later....
So long story short, my own research has helped me much more than any doctor. So if you have any problems post here and I'll try to help you out. Physical or mental. Because herbs can even help when you're depressed!
I'm not a doctor, obviously. And if you have something life threatening please go to the doctor or ER! I feel like I have to say this. xD But I'm here at your disposal to help you out if you can't get to the doc or you're just fed up with them. I love to help and know where to look. :3

Yeah I've been doing a lot better. I started seeing a new chiropractor but I still don't go often enough for great results. Monday he put KT Tape on my ankles, I'm really loving that. It's the tape athletes use. I didn't realize how much it did. It's better than braces. If you never heard of it you should look it up, it has many benefits. He said after 3 days to take it off but I don't want to. :/ But he's a professional so guess I have to. xD So tonight it comes off. He said next time he'd do my wrists if I liked it. I'm gonna end up buying my own and stop going to him probably. xD I just have to do the exercises too if I want to avoid paying the chiro.

I'm having issues with my feet. Might be because I'm prego, but who knows. Dx

You should get some! I've been reading up and apparently you can't harm yourself by putting it on wrong. Worst that can happen is it won't really help. So there's no risk other than wasting money, haha. But I found some how to videos. You can buy this stuff all over, I saw it Walmart before I just didn't know what it was at the time, haha. how-to-apply-kt-tape

Please be very careful. Dr axe is a quack and there is soooo much bull spread around by bloggers these days. Please throughly research any natural treatment you wish to try by relying on actual studies and making sure you are aware of any side effects or interactions. Also please don't recommend treatments to others when you are not qualified. Just because something is natural doesn't mean it is not dangerous. I have been researching natural remedies for over 15 years and I still am very hesitant to recommend most things to people online.

Is he really? crying I mean, when he said you could cure carpel tunnel in 24 hours I knew it was bs. xD But everything I learned from him has worked (I search specific topics) and I checked with my chiropractor. He has some great exercises for carpel tunnel. The vitamins are nothing serious, things you find in food. Checked all the labels to make sure there were no double ingredients. They all say what they are for right on them and I read them before I bought them. The internet is kinda 50/50 on the guy so I think I'll quit watching and recommending him now, haha. I'm glad you brought that to my attention, thank you. I did check into him but I didn't type in "bad doctor", that changed things for sure. xD Of course, a lot of vitamins interact with medicine. I tell people that every time I recommend things. I dunno, I do it with my friends in person. Everyone does. You hear about something that works, you spread it on. I help people all the time and people buy my essential oil lotions and love them. 15 years experience is plenty of time to help others. I would try something if you suggested it. I have my whole life as I was brought up with it. My last doctor was 26. Younger than me and had me almost OD from the meds she put me on. I honestly 100% believe I can and have helped myself more than any doctor including her. I just know times are tough too. A simple doctors appointment is about $60 here and that's rural. Can't imagine the prices elsewhere. But I'll always be careful.

Well, sweatdrop I've been dealing with my disease since the sixth grade. Or I should say, from birth, the diagnosis just came super late.
I've got Spinal Muscular Atrophy. eek They created a medicine that works!!! It's like...the "uncle" to a cure. So they're calling it a treatment. It's supposed to stop the muscles from decaying (like a freakin miracle!)
I'm on the waiting list since it's new and limited and not in my state gonk
In the meantime, im in a ton of pain like everyday. BUT! I've got Lidocaine patches 3nodding
It's a lifesaver, mom just puts one on the spot that hurts and it lasts for 12 whole hours surprised
If you get some, just go out and buy clear medical tape 3nodding They come off sometimes on the areas that move too much. Joints, back, fingers....

Either the multiple sources are wrong or I'm the first dumbass to hurt myself with KT tape. XD I watched the video, followed it, and my ankle tapes were wrong. The wrist video was wonderful and I love my tape there... but in the ankle video it was hard to see every angle and I screwed up. My ankles felt worse. Maybe I imagined it. But to me they hurt more. So today I'm going to the chiropractor and he's going to show me what I did wrong. So maybe you will need a professional to teach you. However like I said my tape on my wrists is doing great and I did that alone. So I'd say get a professional to teach you if you can, and if not definitely take it off asap if it's not helping. I think I messed up on how much to stretch the tape. Ugh. I haven't had time to get on Gaia but I had to get on here and let you know about that, haha. Maybe you could even get a sportsy person too help you. Some people just use it for sports. A coach or someone similar might know the right application. Your health doctor might too.

That's great they came out with a new treatment! I hope you can get it really soon! Good news. smile Yeah I really don't know much about it, I do remember researching it when you told me. You've had it so long you probably know all the things that help you. I really hope someday they find a real cure. Maybe this new thing is it!

Okay I saw the chiro and got a little more info. He thinks the KT people have you use more tape because then you have to buy more. xD Just for my ankles they wanted me to use 3 pieces on each. The chiro uses 1. xD Apparently the adhesive is bad for cancer patients because it may interfere with treatment. Which is weird but okay. You can't use it on your abdomen area if you are pregnant, though I don't see any applications that do that. xD He said not to stretch the tape, at all. If it stretches a tiny bit it's okay but don't purposely do it. He thinks that's why it hurt. It wasn't dangerous, just pulling my skin. xD As soon as I finally ripped it off I had instant relief. He couldn't believe I wore it all night and 5 hours at work. He apologized like 4 times for not showing me how to do it. He really redeemed himself cause I was kinda pissed after I woke up in so much pain today. He said a little soreness after the chiro can be expected if you haven't been in a while but not bad pain. I think the reason I woke up so bad is because I worked and also helped my mom move. I was thinking he must have done something to screw me up but honestly this is the first time I felt worse so I think it was a coincidence. This is how my wrists and ankles look: They feel amazing.

Well, I looked it up again and now I know why I can't remember much about SMA. because they use big words and confusing words and words I never heard. xD Also, usually when I look things up I find things that can ease the symptoms. But there doesn't seem to be any info on stuff you personally can do for yourself. :/ It seems like we don't know enough about it yet. It wasn't until the 90's a lot of doctors started to realize fibromyalgia wasn't a mental disorder. Few are still convinced it is. But there's always some old fart who can't change their ways. xD It only gets better with time though, more health research and info comes out every day. I just know it sounds like it really sucks. I wish I could make it go away. crying

I should ask my doctor if I could use that for my ankles. They are swelling when I'm on them for a period of time, and he said it's because of the pregnancy and there isn't anything he can do about it. Ugh.

ButterflyxMadness I should ask my doctor if I could use that for my ankles. They are swelling when I'm on them for a period of time, and he said it's because of the pregnancy and there isn't anything he can do about it. Ugh. Yeah, I think it would help! It's weird cause I could've put mine back on yesterday or the day before and I just spaced it. I really am getting a lot better, it's weird. xD I gave up awhile back and accepted this. Now I'm recovering, ha. My only major pain today is my neck and my back. Don't know how to put tape there, or if I even can on my neck. Do you use bath soaks? I just started using Dr.Teals from Walmart awhile back. It's less than $5 here. It helps me for awhile. A temporary thing but worth it. Might help your problem more than mine actually. I don't see any warnings other than you can't use it if you have diabetes unless your doc says it's okay. They have a ton of different kinds. I had a hard time choosing one. xD I went with the pink Himalayan salt one. Next time I'm gonna try the Lavender.
