History
Ailyisha grew up in Dhelman during Lord Menzar's tenure. Her father was cut from the same cloth, though his tastes ran towards teens and adults, and she was smart enough to hide when Lord Menzar came over. Even as a child, her instincts were sharp. She avoided him in school as well. But because her hiding was spontaneous, and she went for the first safe place she could find when he was coming, she often heard whole conversations between him and her father, backing up her instincts, explaining why her mother was the broken shell of a woman that she was.
When Ailyshia got old enough to be in danger from her father, she got her mother's help and got herself sent to Luthian's for Black Widow training, and was allowed to stay with the older witch.
After staying there a while, she learned much, but she eventually crossed Saetan's radar, and he helped with her education. She spent some sleepovers at the Hall when the coven was in residence, but not many. The First Circle males made her uncomfortable, as did the male servants. Saetan kept hoping that patience and familiarity would ease her. And in some ways it did. She came to trust him, and eventually Yaslana, and Holt and Beale she could handle so long as they did not linger. But... that was it. Even Morton scared her. And that made it uncomfortable for the boyos, which put the Queens on edge, so her invitations came less and less often.
She will not discuss why she was able to make the offering.
After, when Witch set up her Court, Ailyshia petitioned her. She had no desire to rule ANYTHING, could Jaenelle find her a court she could serve in where she could feel safe, help another Queen and spend her days in the gardens? She was offered a position soon after in Lady Sylvia's second circle, which suited her well. She was close enough to visit, and Lady Sylvia understood and made sure her duties never required her to spend time with a male. But Saetan made sure she had some exposure... he made her train with Yasi. ******.
One day Witch approached her, and asked her to take over the provenance held by Lady Rhia. She was assured she would not need to hold it long...
and she had been Queen there for only two weeks when Q kidnapped her onto the Enterprise....
Personality: Tart. As a Black Widow, she was predisposed to be tart and sharp tongued. Little served to temper it, though she never quite learned the balance that Jaenelle, Gabrielle, and Ka.... that Jaenelle and Gabrielle mastered.
She hates males. It is very hard for her to trust any male, at all, for any reason. She hides her constant fear behind a wall of anger and fury.
Alec - She hates him. Mostly because he freaked her out by changing genders. Raiden - She.... actually hesitantly likes him. Theiorn, obviously she hates him.
