Sui was outside hiding behind a bush trying to get his tail to stop trying to talk to others Suiravi didn't want the attention, really he never wanted attention, or well actually he did but he wanted someone bigger than him to be his protector and that wasn't easy to find. Why had they left the swamp again the swamp was safe the below didn't feel safe it felt big and scary. What if someone tried to burn them??? Sui was terrified of fire. It was a fear that had been taught to every shade ever it was well-known fire was bad. Sui shushed his tail again as Zaris attempted to talk up a purple imp. Suiravi frowned and growled out to his tail to stop talking to beings. His tail merely ignored him and kept trying. No one could understand his tail so they kept walking away. Sui sighed and ignored his tail too and started writing in his notebook. Working on a creative writing project for class.

Sui rolled his eyes his tail was at it again, trying to talk to a hybrid that had walked up to their bush. Sui muttered "He's trying to tell you he likes your horns and your staff is pretty." Sui's tail was a total forward flirt, where as Sui was an extremely shy little shade who just wanted to hide somewhere and do his writing was that too much to ask, and no fire, fire was scary. Sui blushed and looked up at the hybrid who asked if he was ok. "Umm well, I you know.. Umm.." He stumbled looking at the hybrid made him nervous. He had translated for his tail while he was still looking at his notebook so his words had some easily. "Umm I'm ok well I guess I'm Suiravi." He said softly.

Sui's tail kept shamelessly flirting with Avalon trying to bump and cuddle the hybrid Sui sighed and stood up trying to wrangle his naughty tail. He blushed "I'm so sorry." He said softly looking at his feet and pushing his tail behind him. "I can't take him anywhere." Sui's tail was moving about in a movement almost like strutting after Suiravi translated what Avalon said so his tail could understand since his tail didn't speak the common language. "You may call me Sui if you like." Sui said softly still not making direct eye contact and still trying to keep his tail from asking Avalon to marry him. "Nice to meet you Avalon" Suiravi said again in the same soft tone he had been using the whole time. "Umm well this place is big and I'm little, what is there is someone with fire out there?? I don't have a protector. I don't know why we left the swamp it's scary out here." Sui said grabbing hold of his tail so he could cuddle Zaris. "Oh this is my tail Zaris, he says he wants to marry you, but don't mind him he's a huge flirt." Sui said in a casual tone not really thinking about the translation. He blushed after he said it though since he hadn't wanted Avalon to know what his tail had said. Stupid forward tail, why couldn't he hide with Sui like a good tail.

Suiravi sighed and nodded his tail got a lot of attention and Avalon clearly liked his tail, they would likely be happy together while Sui did his writing. Suiravi didn't have to pay attention to every darn thing is silly tail did, but he did have to go along for the ride since they lived together as a shared being. "Yes their name is Zaris, we are a male mostly." Sui pondered a moment sometimes it was hard to figure out gender. Suravi blushed as well. "I wouldn't take the offer to seriously Zaris proposed marriage to many in my village, but we never found a mate." Sui said in a sad tone. He really did want a mate, he thought by now he would have found a chomp to mate with him. Sadly he had no luck still alone, very few friends to speak of and alone in the below hiding behind a bush. Not the kind of life Sui had hoped for. Sui looked up from his 4 foot height and said "You look big to me." He said softly. "Don't you know the history of the Shades and Chomps?" Sui said with a shiver.

(Lol no big deal I know it's you razz ) (It's fun off setting Sui's shy distant personality with a forward flirty tail XD )

Sui smiled just a little as he grew a little more comfortable with Avalon and Zaris continued its mumblings of love and devotion Sui refused to translate everything his tail said since it was so embarrassing and Suiravi and Avalon had already both blushed enough for the moment. "That is alright, my kind and the friend of my kind the chomps only recently left our home land the swamps, we are a secretive bunch." Sui said softly "You are the first not of my kind or that of a chomp I have ever spoken to. I don't even speak to my creative writing teacher I just hand them my writing work. You are very easy to talk to." Sui said softly. "I think I will accept your protection, but please don't tell my people I have told you things." Sui said softly he might still get in trouble for talking with a race that wasn't shade or chomp. What was Sui to do though? He had no shade friends, no chomp protector. What an angry mob came after him with fire? His eyes went wide at the thought of being shown around. "No no no, that is toooo risky, what's wrong with this spot behind the bush??" Sui asked fear in his eyes, he didn't do out in the open. Sneaking was shade 101, shadows, hiding, running. They didn't do out in the open.

Sui nodded and then blinked the concept of so many races in one being was very different to him, shade and chomp that was normal but 4 races in one being wow. "You must tell me more, it will help me make my writing more interesting," Suiravi said looking at Avalon Sui shook his head "Just talking to you is frowned upon, we are not supposed to trust others of other races." Sui sighed but he really wanted to know more his writing was good but he needed to know more so his writing could have the spark that would get others to read what he had written. Suiravi wanted to be a real writer. Suivari smiled and then made a latter out of shadows and climbed up it, then he made a platform on top to sit on. "See I can run away very well."

Sui squeaked as he felt Avalon's staff not high enough clearance. He needed to work on making his safe zone safer. Suiravi listened to Avalon he wanted to be a great writer so he needed to know more stuff so he had to open himself to other races even if it got him in trouble with his own people. Sui had planned to mate with a chomp and write from under a desk his whole life, but the ideas that Avalon put in his head or well they were already there. Sui had just planned to do things differently. Suiravi looked down at Avalon and he nodded this was a big step for Sui going OUT to lunch shiver. No desk or bush to hide behind. "Ok, I'll go OUT to lunch with you." Sui's tone was still fearful of this out thing. He made a slide out of shadows and slide down to Avalon.

Sui listened to Avalon curious where you got food that wasn't inside. Sui liked the groove of trees lots of places he could hide and feel less out in the open. "That sounds really nice good place to hide." Sui said softly. Suiravi thought about what he liked to eat. "Fish is good and the vegetables that grow in the swamp." Sui's food knowledge wasn't very wide they ate the same thing again and again in the swamp and Suiravi hadn't really thought of changing his eating happens. His tail started to ramble about wanting to eat anything. "Zaris says he likes to eat everything and anything." Sui rolled his eyes "And you give me a tummy ache when you do that." He said sharply. Suiravi smiled brightly at the offer Avalon gave him. "If you're there to protect me I'll take the risk." Sui said softly. Though Sui did worry the food place might have fire, Sui didn't like seeing fire.
