Marco was chilling out at a park in town not far from the academy he was sitting on the edge on a fountain and kicking his feet in the water, Marco was a hallowed nixie so keeping cool was a very important part of his day. He also loved the water and wanted to hit the beach and go surfing but he couldn't take off that day since he had to get back to school soon and head to his life skills class. He really didn't feel like going today but if he didn't go he would never graduate from junior year.

Marco smiled at the hybrid that greeted him and he said back in a cheerful tone. "Hey there, how's it going? I'm Marco, and you are?" He asked in a curious tone. Marco noticed the other junior didn't put their paws in the water, so he was careful not to splash the other being since he didn't want to be a jerk. After all Marco wouldn't have wanted someone to put a heat lamp on him if he was clearly trying to stay cool and wet. Marco was still thinking about surfing his mind drifting a little bit as he waited for the hybrid to introduce themselves.

Marco grinned at Sid, he didn't have enough friend then again he doubted he would ever have enough friends. He smiled again and said, "Me too, I would rather be surfing than in the classroom, or in the dorm surfing the web, but since I need to go to Life Skills later today so I can graduate I figured it would be a bad idea to leave school altogether." Marco looked again at Sid not putting their feet in the water and then said. "I take it you don't like getting your fur wet though??" Marco was curious about others, he was a hallow and he was very accepting of everyone he met.

Marco thought about it for a moment was surfing hard, "I guess since I've been doing it since I was little I don't think it's hard but for someone who's never done it before I guess it would take a lot of practice to learn to balance and catch waves. Also, you have to be careful not to wipe out that care hurt even for a nixie or a naiad." He flapped his mini wings "Especially for me." Marco said with a chuckle as he blinked his two sets of eyes at Sid. Sid didn't seem to mind at all that Marco was a hallow which was nice. Though Marco would have laughed a mean being off without getting upset. "So what do you like doing?" Marco asked curiously.

Marco smiled and then thought about what he liked "I like music too, who doesn't like music." He asked in a cheerful tone. "I don't really know what subjects I like yet, Health is sometimes fun, I'm not all that crazy about math and science myself. I was thinking of becoming a professional surfer and surf in competitions." He did a surfer hand motion to mark his point. "But if I come across something that catches my eye, between now and graduation, maybe I'll change my mind dude." Marco looked at Sid and grinned, he wasn't really worried about what he would or wouldn't be when he grew up.

Marco grinned "Now you're getting it dude." Marco said in a cheerful tone, then he took his feet out of the fountain. He had to get ready to head to life skills class. Marco grabbed a towel out of his backpack and dried his legs off a little leaving his skin somewhat damp but not wet enough to get his phone or Sid wet when he went to exchange phone numbers with Sid. "You got it, I would love to hang out with you again sometime and have to watch me surf sometime. Maybe if there is a charm to keep fur dry, I can teach you to surf." Marco smiled at Sid. Marco really liked Sid they were a nice being and Marco really wanted to hang out with them again sometime. "Well, I'll see you later Sid I gotta get to life skills class." Marco said with a sigh since he didn't really want to go.
