 Yinzhen was at the school library looking for a book for a school project, she wasn't sure yet what she wanted to do her project on, she could use a hint or suggestion. Which was kinda funny since Yin had been the one helping others figure out what they wanted to do and be lately and instead now she was stuck again. Yin took a deep breath to avoid having one of her good old fashion panic attacks if Yinzhen couldn't figure something out there was a good chance she would freak out and have a panic attack. It was soo annoying bother her moms were so put together and Yin was so often a mess.

There was a big science test coming up and Cider was absolutely and utterly ill-prepared. Of course, when you weren’t prepared for something, or when you were just looking for a distraction to keep your mind on something else that wasn’t the fact she was going to be failing the test…she loved books so…she was often in the library.
Honestly, Cider’s favorite times were when she was alone in the library, but there was another hybrid in the library today…another geist hybrid at that. And for a moment, Cider got so excited she forgot all about the science test and about her plans for procrastination. She wanted to talk to the other hybrid, and she wanted to talk to her now.
“Hi! You’re part geist, just like me! I’m Cider…are…are you okay?” The other girl looked upset or something, and for a moment, Cider wondered if perhaps she should go and find an adult to help…if the other hybrid wasn’t feeling good…well. There wouldn’t be much that she could do about that!

Yinzhen blinked when she heard someone getting really excited about her being a hybrid well that had never happened before. "Umm yes I'm part geist fey and geist." She looked at Cider noting the races they had in their blood line. "I'm Yinzhen and I'm just freaking out a little, I guess I'm a bit of a control freak, so when I can't figure something out I get a little freaked out." Yin rambled. "I have a project I need to do and I can't figure out what to do my project on." Yin's gesit parts phased in and out with her panic.

Cider nodded, still rather enthusiastic. “I’m happy to meet you, Yinzhen! What class is your project for? Maybe I can help you? I should be studying for my science test that I have coming up…but honestly there’s about a million other things that I’d rather be doing, and one of those things is helping you figure out a project topic if you’d like. There’s no need to go getting freaked out, two heads are better than one, after all!”
She grinned, her glasses flashing in the light. “I’ve been in here dozens and dozens of times, so I can help you find whatever kind of book you might need…and I’m pretty good at thinking up topics, so what sort of project is it? What should we start to plan?”
Yes, this was much better than studying.

Yinzhen smiled she liked Cider's energy and it made her feel better that Cider didn't look at her like she was crazy. "It's one where I get to pick the subject for my report, maybe I could do it on science and we could go to the science books together. Perhaps if we go look over the science books together I can take notes for my project and quiz you for your test as we go??" Yin offered. "What is your test on??" Yin asked calming down Cider had as many questions in their head as Yinzhen did and that made her feel calmer for some reason, perhaps because when Yinzhen had someone else's problems to work on she felt so much calmer.

“That would work!” It wasn’t ideal, she really…really wasn’t a fan of science, but it could work, if she could help someone do a project on it…maybe studying with a friend wouldn’t be so bad as studying alone. “Yeah! All right.” Cider glanced around. “Hang on, let me go find some books, my test is on the parts of the body, so just a ton of things to remember and ugh. I really, really don’t like science class. Or Math class…or anything that doesn’t involve books really. And I know that sounds dumb because there’s science and math books…but I like stories…more than I like facts. And History doesn’t count because that’s pretty much one big story anyway.”
The hybrid tucked a piece of hair behind her ear and grinned. “Tell me what science thing you want to do a project on, and I’ll go grab the books that we need, okay?”

Yinzhen smiled it would be nice to help someone else, it helped her worry a lot less about her own problems when she had someone else to worry about. "That sounds perfect I can do my report project on parts of the body and build and model and quiz you while I'm working." Yin said in a much calmer tone she was always happier when she had a plan. "That's alright not everyone likes every subject, I'm not really good at math and science either but I like to do my very best so I study hard and try and try." Yin said in a firm tone. Yinzhen smiled "History is one big story." She laughed lightly. "No need we'll use the books you're using and we'll have us both square in no time."

Sounds good to me!” Cider hesitated, then held up a finger, before running off to find books which would have information about the parts of the body. When she returned, she had about four large volumes, and she placed them on the table in front of herself and the other hybrid, looking quite pleased. “Ta-da! These should have more than enough information in them to help us both.”
The idea of building a model though…that sounded like a great idea. “Maybe…instead of you quizzing me, I could just help you with the model? Or…you could quiz me while I help? I’m kind of terrible with asking questions…I mean with people asking me questions. I clam up and can’t think of anything. It’s pretty terrible…but I learn pretty good by helping so..I mean, if you wanted.”
She flipped through one of the books and opened to a very detailed diagram of a body. “Oh! This should help us both, don’t you think so?”

Yinzhen smiled as she opened the book. "Alright, we'll have to go and find the stuff to make the model maybe go to the art room or craft store then, then we can go from there since I doubt we'll find stuff here in the library that won't have the librarian kicking our buts." She looked nervously at the gray and blue chimera looking at them over their glasses. Yea Yin wasn't going to destroy books in order to make her model that really wouldn't go over well with the librarian. "I wonder if you have this same project for science class, maybe if you do we could kill two birds with one stone, do the project and study for your test??" Yin asked curious least she was pretty sure that was what this project was for unless she was confused maybe it was for life skills.

Cider nodded and scooped the books back up, giving her own rather apologetic glance to the librarian. Yin was right, this was no place to actually…do a project. She looked at her new friend and nodded. “Then, we’ll stop at the art room first, get what we can and then head to my dorm to start working, yeah? I actually did my science project on the water cycle, so I’m good on that front, my only purpose in life right now is to study for this test, so…study I shall!”
She walked over to the door of the library and held it open for her friend. “We’ll have the best test score and project ever, I bet. This will be fun.” Anything was fun when you didn’t have to do it alone. Even studying for a test.
