Meet Henwas

Physical Description: Standing at 6 feet tall, Henwas is only slightly intimidating. His eyes are a lovely shade of emerald green, though his eyes are an almond shape that are normally narrowed. There is a scar over his right eye from getting into a couple of fights when he is younger. Because of this, he does have limited sight in that eye, it's mostly dealing with being able to see in the peripheral. His nose use to be roman in shape, but now it is crooked from having been broken when he was younger. His lips are thin and normally formed into a sneer. He has three piercings on each of his ears. His dark brown hair is long and often worn into a pony-tail or brain, but both sides of his head are kept shaved.
Personality:
[+]Adaptable: Picking himself back up again and dust himself off. Henwas has this uncanny ability to change gears almost immediately. Nothing seems to phase him or really bother him. He always seems to have his head above water, always prepared for what comes next.
[-]Insecure: One thing that no one knows about and that Henwas does his best to hide from everyone, is the fact he is actually pretty insecure. He feels like he isn't worth a lot of things, especially his twins admiration and loyalty, although he does appreciate it. He grew up with a father who was more authoritarian, more of a master then a caring father. It was because of G'hin that Henwas believes that he is not good enough, and that is the reason his mother sent he and his brother away.
[+]Persuasive: Different from being manipulative, Henwas is actually a pretty good at listening to people and knowing what is going on with them. This can be for the good or for the bad as he can often use it to his own advantage. He is pretty good at getting people to turn to his side and join him as well.
[-]Agressive: Pacifism is something that Henwas does not believe in. Sure, there are other ways to deal with things but Henwas would rather act first and ask questions later. Because of this he has a bit of a temper and doesn't go out of his way to calm himself down either. He has gotten into many fights and has scars to show for it.
[+]Authoritarian:Though it may seem strange. Henwas has a great respect for order. He was raised in Monaco Bay Weyr and he was very comfortable there with the hierarchy. He respects those above him, even at Western, because they are still a higher rank then he is. That doesn't mean he will go out of his way to bow down to them, he just respects the order that comes with it. He also plans to rise to those ranks.
[-]Apathetic: Henwas doesn't show much emotion, aside from aggression really. It takes a lot for Henwas to show genuine emotion and he doesn't care about things that happen. He only will feel concern when it comes to his twin, sometimes not even caring about if anything happens to him. He worries more about his twin.

Where Have You Been
Henwas was born first, a candlemark before his twin brother Huarwar. The son of Branwyn of green Delyth and G'hin of blue Mawrth. He and his twin lived relatively happy lives until a younger brother joined them when they were two turns old. He was fathered by their father's former friend A'dras of bronze Gareth. Their father did not hide his feelings for the man and the child from his sons which lead to Henwas resenting the babe. He hated the attention being taken away from him, but more importantly he hated that the attention was taken away from his brother. Huarwar needed their mothers doting after all.
As the boys grew, Henwas became the more outspoken of them. He started getting other weyrbrats to follow him around, creating a gang that terrorized the younger ones. Among the terrorized was Caderyn, their younger half brother. Henwas went out of his way to torment the young man, making it known that he wasn't wanted. Huarwar went along with his twin and Henwas was never privy to his true feelings either.
When they were twelve years old Henwas and Caderyn came to blows. The younger brother had decided to finally stand up to Henwas and his gang as they tormented a couple of the younger weyrbrats. The punch that Henwas threw at Caderyn broke the others nose which seemed to unleash something in the younger brother. Henwas found himself pinned to the ground having punches rained down upon him. It broke his nose and split his lip as well as blacked his eye. Huarwar ran to get their mother who came back just in time to see A'dras pull his son off of Henwas. G'hin had come to Henwas aid and proceeded to yell at A'dras to get Caderyn under control.
The two separated and G'hin tended to Henwas' wounds all while telling the boy how much he had failed by allowing the younger boy to attack him. He listened to his father mutely, not showing any emotion, even as his father left him in the hands of his twin. Huarwar did the rest to care for his twin. They were not there when their father was killed by A'dras and if Henwas felt anything about his father's death, he didn't show it or even care. Huarwar was even silent about it.
A turn after the events that happened, Branwyn contacted her extended family who lived at Western and sent the twins to live with them. She was returning to High Reaches Weyr with Caderyn as A'dras ran into his own induced exile.
Like was easy to start back up again at Western and at the age of 14 both he and Huarwar were made candidates. Henwas continues to torment others, bullying those he believes are weak with Huarwar loyally by his side. When thread returned Henwas showed excitement for the first time in years. Was it the suffering it caused? Or was there a want to fight it? Even he didn't know.
