Nova sighed as she searched for a paper. Instead of things improving with the addition of the new Elders, it seemed as if Treterra had taken a speeding train toward destruction. It had not been lost on her the three way Elder fight in the middle of a war, as if the new recruits were not recovering and seem to be worsening and taking everyone with them. Then there was Blaise, always a little bit of a handful and worsening the situation. They had almost lost her, had lost her if not for a certain spirit manipulator. It was a mess in more ways than one and her dreams felt as if they were getting further and further away, which was why she was now searching for someone that might be of help. Someone who was already a leader and had ties with a few of the current sides.
Nova fiddled worriedly with her pen as she stared at one of her candidates. It was with hesitation that she weighed his candidacy, for he was ideal to reach Elder from the start on her search but he was also the very reason many view metas in a negative light.
Yet he was the first to start their fight, he cared, fought and bleed for all of them countless of times. Seeing the best in the broken, the light in the darkness even within the one who he should have avoided at all costs. Trying ,in a less than peaceful way, to grab the rights they all deserve even if ultimately losing his way due to circumstances and exhaustion. This was a champion they needed to bring all the loose ends together or a villain they would create who could throw metas as a race to the wolves. She was hoping for the former but with the turn out of the last two she truly did not know.
Nova looked mildly distressed as she thought, knowing she had to make a decision within the next few hours or there would be no one left to fret about. Even her usually carefully researched paths were grasping at unconfirmed rumors. It was luck that there was something she could do at all and even that will still leave him in Gaia’s hands.
The cell was completely dark and silent and the restraints were placed as tight as they could be with no care for circulation. It was in this silence that a soft hum of insect like wings could be heard, suddenly and out of nowhere. It moved closer to Zaku as something landed on his shoulder and ruffles his hair around with tiny hands to hide itself. “Stay quiet” a very soft and tiny voice squeaked quickly with the Angel Elder’s voice.
Dear Zaku,
These are special circumstances, for as you are aware Tretera has fallen into a dark time for our race. Fear and greed have made us nothing more than a weapon or a pest in the eyes of many, especially those wishing to further their own goals. We just want to be ourselves, even if our goals still align towards peace and unity, the animosity and tensions that has grown over the time since the Academy was shut down, only brings an urgent need for those who can provide guidance through true strength. People who have learned to lead such as you have with the creation of the Renegades understand what needed to be done and how to do it and how to lead and recover those who have lost their own way.
It is with great hesitancy that I extend this opportunity to you. For I have seen you fighting for what you believed in with the wholeness of your heart even with the pitfalls of life and power. I have also seen you lose your way, torn between two choices that have held sway over your life for a very long time. I know you have potential for greater things and feel you are ready to join the ranks of those with the power to change this world, hopefully for the better.
Be aware you still have more trials to face in finding what it is you seek from yourself, more so than many others. To become transcendent into a state of mind that would allow you to share your power and guidance with those that direly need it as well as show humans and true races that we are not the weapons they think we are, you are the only one who can decide what that it is that you lack to achieve this.
Should it be Love/Family, attempt to capture the attention of the science officer from Norcrest. They know more of Trisuri than you are aware and perhaps it might help you, not just in your personal life but in considering that metas might not just your people but your family as well.
It could be possible that you seek to speak to the group only known as Deep Space. They have been known to do actions in benefit of Metas as a whole even if proof of their existence are sketchy at the very most. Their help in saving metas as a whole might prove to be invaluable if you can prove to them why they should heed you. To go down this path try to catch the attention of the head of security.
Or you could wish to seek out Gaia herself for a Divine Gift, they call them Symbols of Radiance. These artifacts that enlighten your spirit and mind as well as true strength.
To go down this path stay true to your convictions.
What it is you choose for yourself will take you on your journey towards becoming a true elder. The possibility of breaking or death are also equally high but you will now have a chance, I have the utmost faith in you that you can complete this.

He didn't feel well, left in the darkness. He hated every moment of it all. But what else could he do by now but wait and sort out thoughts that rambled for ages.
It wasn't until the soft voice and touch made him sense. He was so tired. A hallucination?
He listened to the sprite. This had to be a dream. But this opportunity.... Maybe. The mention of Tri made his heart sink. And the idea of joining another team wasn't any better. Honestly, they were doing a cause, why would they need them. No... And strength? No... What he needed was answers.
Answers.
He thought hard about it. The options mulling in his head. This could be a trick. A ruse. Or just a hallucination or a dream......... but what if it wasn't.
His mind kicked into full gear. A certain determination in his very soul. No, he knew exactly what he wanted.
"How do I do that strapped in here...." he asked softly. Narrowing his eyes, "..how do I get to norcrest.." he asked seriously.
He need to get to norcrest. That was the first step... but he knew exactly what he needed to do.

The sprite pulled on his hair, holding on tightly as it listened. " It's so dark here" it said softly instead, voice trembling in fear. Outside there was a soft sound of liquid moving and mechanisms locking into place. The Sprite pulled on his hair once more and faded completely as the door opened letting in only a faint light. Someone pause at the threshold and started looking around for a light switch. " Why is it so dark? Can't Mara even afford to put in a light in here for Gaia sake?" One voice said harshly sounding annoyed. A second voice sounded faintly amused " To take advantage of his weakness, even so I don't think a few minutes of light will affect it" followed by an acknowledgement from the second voice as the light turned on. In the distance perhaps an outline that could be Kae or another's person behind them. Two human-seeming people entered the room but only one moved closer to Zaku. The closest human had grey eyes and black hair with a badge that proclaimed he was a visiting science officer from Norcrest while the second wore a similiar badge but it said security yet he was more vocal hinting as maybe a higher position. The science officer stared at Zaku, taking in his disguise as he checked the file he got from medical and reached to touch the spot Zaku's crystal was in before pulling back. " Move to the other side and help me wheel him out " he said to the security officer without even addressing Zaku himself.

Zaku tensed as the door opened. Watching carefully as two people stepped in. Talking. His eyes stung as the light was suddenly turned on. He was careful, but then the badges. Norcrest. Oh...lucky....
He narrowed his eyes on the one nearest him, "Its about time someone from Norcrest was sent for me... fortunately I want to have a little chat about Penny Dixon." he spoke seriously. A gamble. Hopefully that was enough to grab his attention.

"Penny Dixion" the scientist repeated quietly as if he were thinking of the name as he stared intently at Zaku. 'You are not afraid are you" he asked quietly as the security officer huffed softly and lifted the rail one one side as the scientist did so a moment later. "Many would be crying in your position right now" he stated before unlocking the wheels.
"Begging, attempting to kill themselves" he listed as if he had seen most of them. "Or false courage. " he quirked a brow at him as he started to push. "I am sure Penny is of no interest to someone such as you currently" he glanced ahead and nodded to the security officer as they both started to push. "I guess speaking is your way of coping? It is what you are most well known for..among other things"

"Fear is useless to me." he spoke casually. He seemed unphased by the scientists words. Narrowing his eyes at him as he said Penny was of no interest. "Are you sure? Because I'm fairly certain she stole the norcrest project 001, who is my biological daughter, and got her killed.... Or did you not know she was the one who was behind all that.. " he spoke calmly, if he could cross his arms he would.

"False courage... or true courage " he continued to on as if Zaku has said nothing. "Time will be the one to tell." he said simply pushing Zaku out while a mixture of guards from both SIU, Belrad and Norcrest followed.
It was a few second before he actually replied to what he said before. "Penny... Penny Penny Penny is such a useful little dear. I am sure she will just be reprimanded in some form or another for the hm trillion?" he glanced at the security officer who just shrugged and looked ahead. ".. of dollars she wasted. Since I believe this is your form of revenge I will allow it. Where would we have to look to find Hexxis remains? or maybe her live and breathing body?" he asked without changing a hint of his expression.

"Ehh neither..." he almost shruggedif it wasn't for the restraints.
"Or killed. Im not stupid. But you want Hexxis' remains.. Well she died at [address] before Penny ran. Probably to save her own hide." He then worked an eyebrow. "Did I stutter or something? I said she was killed.... Why the hell would she be living and breathing?" he just sighed and shook his head. "Maybe it's revenge... Or Maybe I have some questions of my own. Like what happened at [norcrest prison]. I know about the retraining program... What the hell are you doing to them.." he growled softly and glared.

"Do you want me to just punch him?" the security officer said with a flicker of annoyance even if the mention of Penny's mistake was interesting.
"No.... I like hearing him talk. He can talk of what ever he wants" the scientist said calmly as they reached a truck labeled as selling soda.Only then did he let go and went to sit on one of the seats that had been installed against the wall of the truck. The guards pushed Zaku in the rest of the way locking the wheels and checking the restraints before tying the bed to the bottom of the truck.
"Why would she be living and breathing...isn't that the question of the century" he muttered with annoayance, making sure it sent before looking up. "[Norcrest Prison?] we're making them great cooks...then finding them jobs all around Treterra" he smiled without a hint of warmth reaching his eyes just as the truck started up and started going.
The security officer snorted softly but stayed quiet as they spoke.
"Do you know...that Tri has a very loose tongue when it comes to Mara? Anything she asks ...he tells her" he said conversationally as he watched Zaku's face.

Zaku was focused on the scientist most of all, listening. His answer was a half-assed one at that and it was a joke he'd think he'd buy that for a second. "Oh, then do sign me up to have one of them cook for me.... a last meal, if you will... I've been told they specialize in .308 combat sniper rifles....." he paused and tilted his head thoughtfully. "You know.. that is the strangest name for a dish I've ever heard... but who am I to judge, I'm a terrible cook. So what do you say? Think they are trained in .308? I mean, they are great cooks after all. I mean, certainly they must be super soldie-... oh, I mean, super cooks." he blinked and stared at the scientist, feigning a certain sarcastic innocence. Yeah, he wasn't an idiot.
At the mention of Tri, he quirked an eyebrow. "Tri?... What did that have to do with [Norcrest Prison]? But I suppose since you've brought up the subject... Yes, yes I did know that." his expression turned dull with seriousness. "Now the question is... what about it."

The scientist didn't look amused but he nodded "Yes, yes they are. If you like I will have one of them cook that up for you" he replied mildly as he waved a hand as if wanting to move past the prison, as if knowing he was just digging for information.
"I'll be glad when this is over" the security officer said with an annoyed look at Zaku, "Are you sure you don't want me to beat him up a little..it's not like he hasn't deserved it"
"I am sure" the scientist nodded before turning his attention back to Zaku. "No reason. It was just something that popped to mind" a lie and he didn't care if it was known. "So do you want me to call you Zaku or Alden? Alden has a nice ring. Or you could take a nap it is going to be some time before we arrive at our destination "

Zaku nodded innocently, "Ahh, so I thought. Good good. Oh, but you know... I had a concern... will this dish have ulterior motives? Because I have a severe allergy to secret mafia ties... I mean, it's not a bad allergy really.. just a minor uproar of rebellion and sometimes causes a huge war... I mean, it will be my last meal after all, so I'd rather have to not go out that way. You know, I like to play by the books. You know how that is, right? You play by the books... Because I'd really hate for it to get out that a misstep might just avalanche into that war I mentioned. It's just uncomfortable for everyone at that point, and no one wants that." he seemed to ramble. "Oh, I see. Yeah, I get random tangents of thoughts... like I wonder what could happen if it got out that things weren't as they seemed and that everything was just some grand stage and according to some grand plan..... Yeah... random, right?" he sighed with feigned distress and shook his head. "Sometimes it keeps me up at night, how easily views can change just depending on the information a person is given..." Looking to the scientist, he smiled at him. "Oh, Zaku is fine. Alden is a nice name, isn't it? Unfortunate that it's not mine. No worries though, I don't you'd get much money and gain from Alden... Zaku is more of a character... haha, oh boy is he..." he chuckled softly. "Thanks for asking, that was really sweet of you to consider my feelings on the matter. I appreciate it." He then shook his head. "Oh, no, I'm fine. Not even tired... Besides, we are having such a great conversation... well, unless I'm boring you..."

"....I'm going to shut him up..it hasn't even been 10 minutes!" the security officer said getting up to do just that.
The scientist didn't move he only looked at the the security officer and looked displeased. "Are you going against my orders?" the voice was soft and icy as the security officer stopped there was for a moment a flicker of fear but he stopped and glared at Zaku. "You. Shut. Up." he growled a warning before moving back.
The scientist waited until the security officer had sat down before looking at Zaku. "My apologies..." he said before looking intrigued. " Luckily there will be no ulterior motives tied with the dish. It will just be simple and plain fare. I am sure your none of it will flare up your allergies. " he crossed his arm, annoyed but also faintly amused at the jumble of words Zaku was throwing to get a rise out of them. Likely because he was in a good mood today and nothing more .
"So Zaku it is and yes Zaku you are boring me but I know it is something you just have to get out of your system so do continue" he waved him on.
The security officer blinked "We haven't given him the potion"
The science officer sighed and got up moving the his bag. "Here" he said tossing the potion in the security officer's direction.
The security officer caught it deftly and un-stoppered it as he moved to Zaku.

Zaku scoffed slightly. "You know, lack of patience is probably why your stuck as head of security taking the brunt of the mistake of your lackeys and not in sight for any other higher position. No one truly respects a head of security... Like service workers, taken for granted... At least of head of scientists even sounds more prestigious....level headed. We can see who wears the pants in this relationship..." he snorted softly with amusement. "Honestly, I am seven shades of surprised that a security officer isn't taking advantage of the fact I'm feeling so talkative at the moment. Could have given secrets and details. I even answered the scientist's questions... Opportunity missed, because now I don't like you anymore.." he frowned like he honestly cared about it before turning his attention to the scientist. "No no, my apologies, it must be a headache dealing with him." that one was genuine. "Oh good good. I tend to worry about it, so that sets my mind at ease."
"Ahh, sorry then. Sometimes I just get so fired up. Like an on switch. Ill try to be a little quieter then..." he gave a small smile.
Potion. The tension rose. He didn't like the sound of it one bit. Thoughts raced, trying to piece together what he could as he analyzed the situation. Watching them produce a potion and he suddenly didn't seem so talkative anymore. s**t.
