It had been some time since she had been reunited with her family, finally having found her mother and brother after years spent apart, and though she loved to spend time with her family and get to know her nieces, nephews, and even great-nieces and nephews, Berith couldn't fight the call of wanderlust any longer. She had grown so accustomed to travelling and never staying in one spot for too long thanks to her father's work that it felt unnatural to be idle. She needed to watch the scenery change around her, to go to distant places and encounter new and strange things, to feel like she was doing something with her life.
So that was exactly what she had decided to do.
Berith had always been a creature of the heart, and when it called or pulled her in any one direction, she followed. With a small pack of herbs and medicine to keep her chronic illness at bay and her faithful familiar by her side, she had little to worry about... not that the mare really ever worried about anything at all. That was what she had Azazel and her father Samael for; they were both incredibly serious individual, constantly worried about even the smallest thing (they talked of how even one small mistake could lead to disasters of disarmingly large proportion), and Berith knew she'd never be able to get away from her family without taking at least one of them along for the journey.
With Azazel flying above and letting her know of any hiccups in her journey further ahead, Berith strolled along at a leisurely pace, humming a merry tune as she looked around. It had been a few days since she had left her family and she hadn't encountered a soul. Though Agares had picked a pretty secluded area to house his family, Berith had at least hoped she might run into a colorful character sooner rather than later. It seemed that wasn't going to be the case.
"Ooooh, there's no one to heal and nothing to do besides walk," the mare lamented to herself. "It'd at least be nice to run into someone to chat with, even if for just a little while!" Berith looked up to the gray, cloudy sky, checking of any signs of Azazel possibly returning to relay any information. Hopefully he'd be back in no time; at least she had him to talk to. Though, she realized, that might just drive Azazel away more frequently if she started getting too energetic for his tastes. He always had been such a stick in the mud, but he was her bonded and she loved Azazel no matter what.
"I'll have to cross paths with someone eventually!" Berith walked on with a little more purpose in her step and a sparkle in her eye.
AstoriaFallen Hopefully I gave you enough to work with! We can always try and figure out a plot line for this rp on discord too. smile
