While traveling through the Sinnoh region, you are told the tale of a hidden place, deep within the Eterna forest, called the Amber Castle. Not only is the journey there bound to be fraught with danger, the castle itself is ruled over by a mighty Vespiquen and protected by her loyal swarm of Combee. Still, those who dare to make the trek are sometimes able to obtain the incredibly rare Enchanted Honey that is made there. When slathered on trees, the sweet honey attracts hoards of wild Pokémon to the location, should you manage to gather some, you could either use it to attract Pokémon yourself, or sell it for a wildly generous price.
You are a new trainer, with only your starter Pokémon at your side, and not much in your pack, but already you yearn to make a name for yourself. You decide to undertake this adventure of a lifetime.
What happens next is up to you...
Write the story of your adventure, who do you encounter on your journey to the Castle? What happens when you get there? Do you succeed in your attempt to gather some Enchanted Honey or do you return empty handed? There are no wrong answers.
There will be first, second, and third place winners, who will be awarded their preferred prizes in that order. The remaining prize will be raffled off among all participants.

So how, you ask, did I manage to get my hands on some of that Enchanted Honey shortly after becoming a Pokemon trainer? It was all a matter of luck really I assure you. After all, I really had nothing to lose other than time and a couple of days' worth of rations if the Amber Castle turned out to be nothing more than a myth in the end.
Nevertheless, it still took both Plucky and I a couple of days of searching in the Eterna forest until we found the Amber Castle tucked away in a secluded glade. It was golden yellow in colour and breathtakingly majestic just as its name implied. Of course the Queen of the Amber Castle, the Vespiquen, wasn't going to give up any of her Enchanted Honey without gaining anything in exchange even if I walked right up to the gates and knocked to ask for some of it.
Given that neither Plucky nor myself were fluent in bee speak or whatever form of communication that ought to be used when communicating with these wondrous creatures, it took an entire day of drawings and buzzings that were patiently exchanged between us all until we managed to determine what it was that they wanted in exchange for a jar of their precious honey. A fluffy cotton candy flower that could only be found at the other end of the forest. The Vespiquen would have gone herself or sent one of her Combees to retrieve it had they not deemed it too perilous a journey to risk so both Plucky and I would have to do.
So off we went again in the direction that was pointed out to us, with only the rising sun in the day and the stars above us at night to guide our path and ensure that we weren't running around the forest in circles. We retrieved the cotton candy flower in the end without encountering any difficulties or complications. Not unless you counted it making a sticky mess with whatever it came into contact with as one. The Vespiquen was delighted with the gift of course and immediately had one of her Combees ready a jar of her precious honey for us to honour their end of the agreement.
And that was the end of our tale.

Yeah, turns out I'm allergic to bee stings. I mean, I kind of figured, but I was never really stupid enough to tempt fate before this. All I wanted was some honey after hearing it attracted a Pokemon wanted more than anything. Just...trust me when I say not to do what I did.
I heard about the Amber Castle while asking around for the best route to find what I wanted. A Cherubi. That's it. That's all I wanted to catch in the area. Unfortunately...they're attracted to honey and there was a bit of shortage for sale in town without traveling across regions. That's when I was pulled aside and told about the Amber Castle. I made up my mind pretty quickly and left without really thinking or preparing.
I took Cinder and went deep into the nearby Eterna Forest. All I knew was to look for hives and the occasional Combee. If I found those, I'd know I was on the right trail. Fear of bees and wasps be damned, I was going to find that precious nectar and collect just enough to catch what I wanted. It wasn't long before Cinder stopped and pointed out a nearby hive and several more down the road behind it. This was perfect and I praised my little buddy, scooping her up and then darting down the path.
A bit recklessly I might add. Oh well, too late now right? We did eventually find it. It was a real place, and just swarming with Combee who didn't seem to happy to see us on their doorstep it turns out. Of course, I stupidly paid them no mind and pulled a jar out of my bag in order to go scoop out some of the honey. I struggled to get what I could and by then it was too late. The angry buzzing was apparent and we were swarmed. Cinder pushed me to start running while she followed behind to try and keep me safe.
Pretty sure the last thing I saw was the Vespiquen of the hive barreling down on us. I know I woke up here, no honey in hand and being told I was extremely allergic to stings.
Eh, maybe I'll try again someday. If Cinder will let me of course...

There was a trainer who went by the name of Melissa she had with her a bulbasaur and onix they were her trusted pokemon. It was her first adventure on her own where she was traveling with her pokemon to set out and make a name for herself. Every instinct in Melissa was nervous and yet excited she looked to her pokemon balls. She then kissed them for luck and said ready guys here we go. This was the beginning of her travels she set off and spent the day into the night walking heading from her hometown to the next city. It was beginning to reach night time so Melissa found a inn along the trail of the forest and took the chance to see if there was availability to rest for the night. As she entered she saw what looked to be one gentleman that had an adventurous smile on his face as he was looking at a paper. Melissa approached the man and asked what he was looking at. The man then told her the legend of the legendary honey. This honey is guarded by a kind but valiant queen. As he told Melissa the legend he warned her as well of the queen's tests and that access to the honey was not easy. You had to pass and gain the trust of the queen to be let into her hive. Melissa listened to the tale while finishing up some food and giving treats to bulbasaur and asked the man if she can look at the map and said she give the tale a try.
The next day after resting Melissa headed to the next town and gained supplies she stopped to heal her pokemon and headed in the direction the map showed. Traveling she looked to see the forest entry with mountains in the background. As she entered she saw what looked to be a large queen bee horse and her little bees driving off what looked to be some other trainer who seemed to have done wrong to the queen. She seemed quite upset and was talking loudly to the one as she pushed him out of her territory's. Melissa felt threatened but not flustered she smiled and nodded to the beautiful queen. The queen sqintted her eyes and made eye contact with the new human her wings buzzing she yelled "do not return traitor."
She then flew over to the new one to enter her forest. Who be you and what brings you here? Melissa nodded and bowed and stepped forward I came on a whisper and to accept a challenge. I have heard of a queen who guards legendary honey but tests those who try to get it. I am here to accept that challenge are you that said queen what's your name. I am my name is Ensulti you seem quite brave after seeing what just occurred. I am that is because I have faith in my own optimism what are these tests you set and require of me. I will prove how worthy I am.
You have two tests one is make it to my cave and the second is can you bring me the treasured flower that is found only at the bottom of the lake that's glimmered by the moonlight. Hmm the lake one sure does seem a challenge but I'll do it I'm sure with my bulbasaur and his vines will help me to locate your plant. How will I know the guiding points through the forest. Ensulti responded that is up to you to create based on the speed and your own ingenuity i will judge from then how trustworthy you are.
From this Melissa nodded and accepted the challange she let out both her Pokémon and told onix to search out the forest paths and come to her with it. Her onix nodded and set off eager to please and not cause damage to the forest being tall he took advantage of that fact and looked above the trees for paths that's when he noticed some booby traps and a maze like setup that covered the forest. Without the right frame it was no wonder to him when the forest and hive was legendary.
While this occurred Melissa using the trees and wisdom from her training days to being a trainer she knew how to navigate the paths and it was reaching nightfall she looked to the moon and path light was heading following that she had found the lake. It's clear blue sea was quite a sight to see she could see why the queen set the challenge in the first place. She asked bulbasaur to put his vines around her and Melissa jumped into the lake locating the flower she plucked it and came up. Sticking it to her bag she then told bulbasaur thanks for the help. She then said ok off to find onix and make our way to the queen. Melissa then walked and met up with onix at the meeting spot and got on her bulbasaur as well with flower in pack he took them through the path he found. As they reached the entrance to the hive Ensulti stepped forth a smile at the creativity she witnessed from the human. Well done did you retrieve the flower. Melissa nodded and handed the queen it bowing in grace. She stepped back, Ensulti smiled and said you pass for now come let me show you the tour. Melissa followed into the cave the rest of the story set for another day. This was the tale of how she passed the queen's trail and gained access to the hive.
