"You ought to just stay put where ever we land so I can fly where I damn well please, Njia." He growled, his tone was extremely grumpy and rumbled like thunder. None the less he began to lower himself to the ground and eventually he made the decision to change from his god to mortal form. Never had he actually taken up walking around with it, but he figured there was a first for eveyrthing. "We'll have to go back for Sneaki soon." He said to her flatly. The othe snake he'd practically adopted was off in the svannah choosing to sun himself while the pair went off to explore.
"Yes, I'm well aware." She said, her tone grew a little lighter while they discussed Sneaki. "I know he'll probably have missed us." She snickered softly, really only meaning that he would have missed her. "Shut it, Njia." Rumbled back the lion before he began to press forward, by foot and towards a nice, wide and appearing deep watering hole. "Let's get a drink and then rest, once we are rested we can go back for him." He offered, to which he received a quick nod.
When he arrived at the waters edge he peered with his purple eyes and sought out any possible life. He didn't see any, but also didn't try entirely to hard to look - he was a god after all, plus he had Njia. While he leaned forward to dip his head into the cold water she removed herself from his leg and curled up on a nearby rock.

Hilda's mind was a storm of thoughts about the pride she had left behind. This was not by choice but by need. The purple lioness needed to find a way to fix things and quickly. The land she had unwillingly turned her back on had gone sour and she had to find a way to fix things.
Those lands had been in her family for many generations and she'd be damned if she were to let them be swallowed by decay.
The lioness was so lost in thought she hadn't realized there was a watering hole right in smack in her path so you can imagine the surprise she had when all of a sudden she was knee deep in cold water. Hilda stopped and looked at the water for a moment.
"When did I ... " She frowned deeply at her reflection and turned tail back towards land. This was unacceptable. She couldn't fix things if she wasn't keeping her head on straight.
The release of her grasp was always a welcome relief and he sighed slightly as he took a quick few laps at the water to get rid of a dry tongue. Timing was perfect as he rose his head and he inhaled slightly at the sudden sight of a lioness about knee deep in the water. He watched her, purple gaze never stuttering on her form as she appeared to come to from whatever had distracted her enough to wander into the water in the first place. Tras grew amused and wondered what could possibly be so distracting,
He didn't call out, instead choosing to remain a silent party for now, but he did begin to move towards. The dark lion moved towards the lioness quietly as a snake and only when he was in an appropriate shouting distance did he decide to call out, Njia was right on his tail choosing to remain continually silent. "Hello there, beauty." He said, finally able to catch the purple hues of her pelt properly. The purples appealed to him greatly. "It appears that you're unsure about taking a swim or not.. that or you have something on your mind?" He queried her lightly.
Tras chose his positioning carefully, he wasn't about to block her into the water, so he side stepped her entrance in and sat himself down nearby. Meeting a rogue creature was always a luck of the draw - he hadn't met one that had attacked him yet, but his past had been full of it.

Hilda wasn't really sure what to say. She was still kind of half out of it and the thought of taking a swim did now sound tempting out loud. Maybe the cold would shock her a bit more in to her own body. It was better than saying what was on her mind out loud at least. The lioness had weighed her options and the swim answer won.
"It's nothing. I was only considering if this was the best area for a swim or not." She was lying through her teeth but it was better than being honest. What was one more white little lie.
"It is hot after all," She wandered a bit deeper until the water was up to her haunches . Truth be told the water felt very refreshing.
"May I ask why you're so curious," She was flat in her tone. The lioness wasn't too keen on the lions answer but if it helped take the spot light off of her self it was a greatly needed improvement. She sank a little deeper in to the water now having only her head exposed.
