When Terry fantasized about having a roommate... well, no he never really fantasized about having roommates. The life trainee was happy to have a dorm room all to himself because he'd always had a room all to himself his entire life. He never thought he would have a girlfriend or a boyfriend or an actual relationship that existed outside of his head. (Agata was judging him with her teeth for that thought.)
So when his door was ruined and had yet to be replaced, he never really worried about people just walking into his bedroom. Until Kim happened.

After the effects of the strange war that happened on the island, or rather the last one. It seemed a new war happened too often, Kim's room was trashed. Seriously, it hadn't looked nice to start with but now she only had her belongings... and a door. A nice door, once that could be removed and put on another room really. Hmm, like the one down the hall... With a glint in her eye and a smirk on her lips she gathered her meager belongings and stalked over, pushing the door to the side and walked into Terry's room. "Honey I'm home...!" She smirked and dropped her stuff on a chair and flopped on the bed. "I live here now.." Yup, she was just that kind of person. Chinthliss silently groaned as once again Kim did what she wanted, with no thought as to how anyone else would feel. She just kicked her shoes off and smiled at Terry, her head laying on the bed. "Mm... Hey a real bed is kind of soft... neat."

Terry had considered setting up a sheet of sorts to act as temporary door until a replacement could be fou- oh look. Here was a clear reason why he needed a door: Privacy. Also something someone could knock on to warn him if someone was entering. So he could either pretend he wasn't in or pretend he was asleep and couldn't hear them.
When a certain Sun hunter barged into his room, Terry opened his mouth to protest, a finger raised but realized this was Kim. Plus, she'd already just dropped her things and had commandeered his bed. Terry really didn't know if there was anything he could do or say at this point.
He could, theoretically, pick her up (he was bigger than her just enough that it was actually possible) and carry her back to her room. But he remembered the awful thing that was supposed to be her bed.
So he closed his mouth and just sighed, closing his eyes before opening them and responding with "Okaeri nasai," because he felt he could trust her enough to be the weeb that he was.

Kim grinned at Terry and waved. "Tadaima" She kicked her feet a bit and then rolled over. "Terry lets steal the door off my old room. She grinned bigger. "It will work fine to replace this one." She then looked around his room, remembering the last time she was here was when she was... a kid. The thought was so funny. She stepped around the room peering at things. Opening drawers and poking around. Yup totally making herself at home. "Hmm, I guess room for my few things... oh... oh..." She reached out and picked up some Yaoi. "nnniiiiceee!" She flicked through the book and tilted it to show Terry what she was looking at. "Hmm.. don't think it works that way, wouldn't he break it off?" Chinthliss groaned and would have covered his face if he could.

Terry knew what Kim was doing. The amount of anime, manga, videogames, and otome games he'd consumed had told him this was the way the girls who might possibly be interested in you tried to get a rise out of you. And that the best way to earn those heart-points and level up interest is to not openly react.
Which was Terry's default anyway so it wasn't all that hard. Of course, once she started talking about the mechanics behind some of the "situations" in those mangas, the life trainee had to clear his throat. "Theoretically, it would depend on the anatomy."
And no, he is not going to go into detail. At least not voluntarily.

Terry's eyebrows shot right up and she bounded over to him with the manga in her hand, she yanked him down to the bed and sat on top of him, holding the manga. "Spill it Otaku boy!" She grinned and pointed at the picture. "How could you get That... to go that way without snapping it off right there?" She demonstrated what she was refering to, which was a bit of a trick. "I mean if -I- did this.." She jumped off of him and performed the splits then arched her back so her hands rested on the ground. "I suppose I could do that, but come on, those dudes sooo do not seem to be flexible." Sure Terry may not be showing that she was getting to him, but really no one could NOT be reacting somewhere. Inside she was grinning. "come on show how you think it could be done, what should be done to make that work?"

The nickname of Otaku boy got a Terry-scowl, which essentially was the smallest curl of disdain from his upper lip, but the rest of him remained stubbornly deadpan. Kim might not realize it but anime and real life were hardly the same and Terry was aware enough that what looked good on paper did not always translate in real life.
"First of all, those kind of stories play with the fantasy aspect. It's not going for realism. So as long as it theoretically can work and provided that your audience isn't interested in thinking too hard, it doesn't really matter."
Terry was a good spoilsport.

Kimberly giggled and tossed the book lightly to him and shifted a little before poking him in the nose. "I told you it wasn't possible..." She then slid off and sat down on the side of the bed again. "You could have at least 'tried' to play along a little." Still full of energy she got back up and started stretching in the most fetchingly elastic way. One leg up nearly straight while the other was on the ground.. then arching right backward before doing a little flip back to her feet. "So, we shall share the bed tonight." She glanced over to make sure there was nothing she would need to evict from the bed first. Then she reached into her bag and pulled out a plush Terry Doll and a Plush Kim and set them on a shelf.

Terry's eyes darted to the door, or rather, where the door to his dorm should be. It was only now that he seriously considered counting how many steps he would need to escape. There was only so much pushing Terry could handle without showing some cracks.
"I will make note of it next time," he murmured. He turned his head back with an almost audible snap at the declaration of sharing a bed. But rather than be direct and address the issue, he fell back on his standby of roundabout beta-male bullshittery and honed in on the plushies.
"Where did you get those?" There was the tiniest crease of his brow.
Agata was not happy to have been left out.

Actually Agata had not been left out, Kim put a little Agata Shield onto the little Terry. "I made them, why, you don't like them?" Kim was a little surprised that anyone would not like the cute plush she made, She smiled brightly and then looked over at the lack of door again. "We really should steal that door and put it here." Kim bounded back to the bed and leaned on Terry while laying next to him. "So, what do you do for fun here anyway, I mean other than the books and stuff." She shifted around a lot, poking Terry and nudging him. She really needed her batteries pulled.

Terry adjusted himself to make his current situation more comfortable for the both of them, though he tried angling his head to get a better study of the plushies without having to take one into his hands. "We are unfortunately undergoing serious renovation and reconstruction efforts. Fun does not appear to be on the table until then."
A beat.
"In which case, lead the way to your steal-able door so that we can have some privacy," There was no suggestion or innuendo in that remark. Just a fact. What Kim wished to do behind closed doors was entirely up to her.

Kim laughed brightly and waited for Terry to get up before leaping onto his back. She then pointed over her shoulder, yanking a screwdriver from her hip sheith. Yeah it was there, it worked. Never know when you need tools. "Just down the hall dear Steed!" She grinned and leaned her head on his shoulder, trusting that he would not just deposit her on the ground. "We shall take the door and no one will be the wiser.. other than the ones who have to put a new one in it's place." That was something to think about.. who DID have to replace the door they were going to steal? Blah, not her worry. She smirked at the idea him having to deal with her tonight. Bwahahaha! Mine!

Despite the giddy feelings in Terry's chest, he still maintained that aloof expression. Kim would eventually learn how to read him, he was certain of that. "Don't expect me to whinny or neigh," he told her matter of fact as his arms hooked under her legs for support. He did, after all, have to stoop a bit so that he wouldn't risk accidentally having Kim hit her head on the doorway.
Once outside the hallway, he waited expectantly for her to instruct him on which way to head.

With a smile Kim started to point over Terry's shoulder gesturing on the ways to go to reach her old room. When it was finally in view she shifted a bit balancing on Terry's back and one of his shoulders so she could unscrew the top hinges. When she had them removed she slid down from his back and bent down the get the lower hinges. "You get to carry the door, let me remove the number plate first so we can change it. Though it would be funny to have people react to the sudden shift in number." While waiting for him to get the door she bounded back down the hall, humming to herself a bit of Aerosmith music while planning on removing the number plate from the other door.

"What an honor." Terry said but didn't argue. He only hoped Kim meant he was only going to carry the door and not the door with her on it. Having a FEAR shield had somewhat helped his strength but Terry would need some serious time at the gym before he could even think of performing incredible feats of strength (and coordination) like that.
"Although I doubt people really notice the little things around here. Seems like a lot of the crazy we've been through could have been nipped in the bud."
