THE LOBBY: gaia_star MOBS: Roll 1d6. This is the AMOUNT of mobs you spawn. Each mob has 5HP for a CUMULATIVE HP pool of 5 times whatever dice roll amount you spawned. Every time a mob is defeated, they do -5 auto damage to you! If you need help in your RP, remember you can tag it as SOS. If you are a Y1 student, they only do -2 auto damage. gaia_star [ RARE BOSS SPAWN ]: If you are a final stage character, you can CHOOSE to spawn a rare boss. This is a shadow Horseman with a menacing figure at 60/60 HP and -5 HP damage a turn. Defeating it will ??? ??? (quote Zoobey).

He led Otto down the hall, Chance's bow held carefully but firmly in his grasp. There was too much that could happen; he wasn't about to take any - ignoring the pun - chances with things that might pop out at any moment, fingers wrapped around the handle.
"Still good?" he asked, glancing over his shoulder at Otto. "See anything?"

"M'fine." Otto murmured, keeping pace with Chance as he looked for some sort of obvious exit. This place was weird. Modern, but off. It didn't feel like a Horsemen lair at all, but that could also be part of the illusion, he supposed.
An uneasy feeling made him turn around. Behind him, and soon surrounding them both, were several very unfriendly beasts running to attack them. <********." Summoning Tenya, he prepared for another fight, his injuries barely healed.

"s**t."
The shadows were crawling towards them; Chance saw the flash of Otto's boomerang out of the corner of his eye, his own bow spinning to fire off an arrow in the direction of one of the shapes.
"Not these guys again."

Otto winced, as his open wounds pulled with every swing of his weapon. The weight was too much for him, even with all the healing he'd received. He was only human, and as supernatural as his powers were, his body could only endure so much after a near death battle.
He was struggling hard. He tried not to dwell on what ifs, and only concentrated on keeping out of harms way while looking for an opening.

This was not going well. Chance dropped trying to restring his bow and instead gripped it by the handle and swung it in a wide arc, teeth gritted together in an attempt at knocking back some of the creatures.
"This isn't the romantic reunion I envisioned."

"Y'really think they'd have wine and roses ready for us?" Otto sassed back, dodging countless swipes from shadows. He glanced at Chance, who was faring better at ending their lives, but seemed to be taking a lot of hits as a result.
Otto's stomach lurched. He felt like a sorry excuse for a Sun hunter, avoiding attacks like he was still in Death, while Chance took the brunt of it all.

"Well, you know," said Chance, keeping his voice light, because it was much easier to try and distract Otto from thinking too much about where they were if there was sass involved. "A little good whiskey never hurt anyone, right? And come on, you know you'd want some chocolate."
He swung the bow again. "I could use some whiskey right now..."

"Whiskey and chocolate at home, but it won't be here." And there it was; his opening. Two of the shadows were in close quarters as they dived towards Chance. Otto hurled Tenya from where he stood, and her spinning ends tore through them both.
Otto hissed as he caught her again, his sides splitting as wounds re-opened again.
"We gotta get outta here, and fast."

Behind the mirror is none other than Deus Island as it actually should have been. It confirms that you are trapped within this dream, as you look closer to the mirror. Examining it reveals it is just a mirror, and shattering it well-
- After a while it rebuilds itself. You are stuck here.
The mirror shifts. You can see, was that horsemen meandering the island? They seem to be destroying things, and you are stuck here, unable to save your home, unable to stop them.

"Well, guess we'll just have to go home then," said Chance. He swung the bow again, but the movement caught him off balance, his feet slipping, Chance staggering a little. He saw the creatures leap and threw up his arm instinctively, a hiss of faint annoyance escaping -
- Otto's weapon came whistling out of nowhere, slicing violently through the air, neatly and efficiently disposing of Chance's little problem.
And then they were alone. Chance hauled himself back up and took the few remaining steps towards Otto, wrapping a hand around the back of his head and drawing him in for a very fierce, very brief kiss that was probably a little badly timed and inappropriate considering where they were. But, well. Otto had just saved him.
"Thanks, hot stuff, for saving my a**," Chance said with a smile as he drew back, and jerked his head towards the next hallway, Chance swinging his bow back into position just in case.
"Here, let's try this way."

Otto felt much better, even if his contribution was more like claiming victory even though Chance had taken out more than half of the actual mob of shadows. It was better than nothing. Chance had saved his life, and now he'd returned the favour so to speak. He'd not expected to be rewarded in the slightest. Dismissing Tenya, he looked up to see Chance close the distance between them with a strangely passionate look in his dark eyes. His breath caught as fingers dug into his hair, pulling him up into a kiss so hot and passionate he'd forgotten where he was. As short as the kiss had been, Otto felt as if time had stopped.
Breath lost and mind gone, Otto stared dumbly up at Chance, giving him a wobbly nod of understanding. His heart was racing. "You gotta kiss like that more often." He finally managed to to find his voice, as the rest of his body threatened to buckle and melt.
He shook it off, his face rather pink as his fingers slid back through his hair in faked nonchalance.
And so he followed Chance's lead.

One of the perks of being with Otto was that catching him off guard was still possible, and it was an utter delight to see that that hadn't changed. The flush to Otto's cheeks and the breathless sound of his voice made Chance's stomach flutter pleasantly, and he grinned over his shoulder at him, watching Otto's attempt at composure.
"I can kiss you like that anytime you want," he said lightly, but his eyes were twinkling.
Down the hall and to the left there was a mirror. Chance slowed his steps as he came near to it, a flicker of faint annoyance passing across his face as he let out a breath. A hand stretched out, fingertips brushing the surface of the glass.
"Do you see it, too?" he asked, after a moment.
