Shik didn't move at first when he found himself in the nightmarish landscape of Insanity fog. Reality, dream, or somewhere between? That was the usual first question that came to mind. It certainly didn't look like the haunted house, more like a never ending landscape. Frowning, he rose into the air to check things out.
The only thing he could make out was the white and gold of a hunter coat, however. It was clue enough, he supposed, not that he ever needed an excuse to attack a hunter. Claws brightening with the beginnings of flame, Shik dove with a whooping cry.
His claws met unnatural steel. The hunter barked a laugh that sounded much too familiar.
"Not bad, pigeon."
