Terry had learned at this point just how ******** weird being a hunter was, and things were going to become a whole lot more ******** up since those butterflies appeared. He'd only heard about the red eye virus, but anything as ominous sounding as that was immediately bad news based on all the anime and videogame tropes he'd encountered.
He did what any sane person would do in this situation: he locked himself in his room. He'll ride out the ******** while everyone else dealt with it.
Unfortunately, even the best laid plans had ways of failing. In fact, there might even be something to be said about how considering any plan as a "best laid plan" would be tantamount to guaranteeing its failure.
Case in point: the Life trainee woke to find himself in Dusk.
Agata was on his arm without thinking. Even if his face maintained his usual stoic demeanor, he was still human and therefore more than a little frantic about his situation. He was grateful for the lamprey monster's presence and found the heft of her shield form provided him with some comfort.
And if being a stranger in a strange land wasn't bad enough, he soon came across a doppelganger.
Terr was not pleased to find a Hunter of all things here in Dusk. And what was worse, they bore a striking resemblance to him. His displeasure wasn't immediately apparent what with the Death Clan's expectations for stoicism. Blue eyes narrowed at the shield his look alike carried and Terr summoned his chains.
