Aya had been sent to an Amazon base to defend, and she was sent alone, thought to have been able to handle it herself. It was a small problem, they said. It would be an easy mission, they reassured her.

She stared at the scene in front of the base, frowning in despair.

The Horsemen were advancing, and each of them had a kind of mount that they were riding on, approaching slowly and with confidence.

Gritting her teeth, Aya moved down the stairs from the lookout post to the door, bolting it and checking twice just to make sure it was secured well.

She had been working for the Hunters about two years now, and huffed at the thought that she had wanted to work for them much longer, before a mission like this.

Honestly, Aya felt that this was a death trap.

Backing away from the door, she paced in the main room and rubbed her arms, attempting to psyche herself up and not become too overwhelmed. She hoped that the others had gotten some sort of message -- some way that they knew the Horsemen had been advancing -- before she heard a noise from the corner and moved over to investigate it warily.

Bright, yellow eyes stared at her from what looked to be a hole in the ground, one that she had completely missed from her earlier check and run through of the base. She took a step back as it slowly slithered out of the hole, its maw opening as it launched towards her.

Aya had no time to scream, or even pull her weapon out to defend herself -- she felt the jaws close on her, teeth piercing through her skin and bone --

Aya jolted awake with a scream, clutching at her chest as she fought for breath, eyes wide with terror.

The nightmare haunted her -- she could still feel everything.

DIVISION: Moon
META JOURNAL
ARCANA: Wheel of Fortune
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER: Aya is of medium height, has purple hued hair with white bangs, fair skin, and black sclera contacts with purple pupils (mostly to weird people out). It wouldn't be a far stretch to say that her favorite color was purple, but she does seem to have a humorous attitude about most things.

Her weapon is a staff with various flower designs carved into it, as well as the standard runes.
