[ TASK ]
As one of our clever ponies at the tech Stable, your job is to fix customer's technology and troubleshoot it while making as much money as possible, making sure to fit and maintain our monitoring implants and software in the process.

[ MECHANICS ]
Roll 1d6 twice, each roll is half the day.

  1. - The hardware you are brought is a complete mess, it's screen is cracked in a way you can't replace, it simply won't boot correctly or it has been in some sort of terrible sticky accident. All you can do is commemorate its memory and send the customer over to your colleague on the shop floor, losing your commission in the process.
  2. - The fix is easy, the customer isn't very tech savvy and had simply tripped a background setting without meaning to, you can fix it in five minutes but those five minutes cost them dearly.
  3. - Somehow this customer has managed to break the monitoring process on their device, taking them off of the collective data grid, this has in essence bricked their tech, they bring it to you, you easily reinstall the spyware and they are on their way.
  4. - Some piece of hardware needs replaced, it is easily done but you tell them it will take 24 hours and charge them incredible prices for the part they need.
  5. - The customer wants nothing more than to talk to you about the store, the products, the CEO and everything else and none of your social hints to go away seem to work on them, delaying you in your work for half the morning
  6. - The hardware is outdated but somehow you get it running again, Tyr stops by and offers the customer a discount on an upgrade to a more modern product which they take and end up spending a great deal more than they meant to that day on in-store financing.

[ First half of the day ]

Clidua took another new job, it was all about technology. Despite not knowing much about that aspect, high-tech devices were a necessity. Computer, tablet and phone and many more, she had come in contact with many items.

As the petite Moon knew, horsemen despised everything about human culture. To them, humans were only cattle that should be caged for FEAR harvesting and nothing else. Thus, it was very ironic for horsemen to set up a business like that and more importantly, it was very successful in the field.

That became a big concern for Deus, without knowing the true intention of the Pale Horse Enterprises. That was the reason they sent them out to infiltrate into it and carry out investigation mainly to find out if the business was really controlled by horsemen and what their purpose was.

Not to crack herself up but Clidua did have a sweet tongue, so she picked a retail path. Being a tech support and assisting customers in solving their problems on company products while promoting new products to them when chances come.

There was her first customer, someone not very tech savvy. She calmed the middle-aged man down and processed on her checking. While waiting, the man kept on wiping the sweats on his forehead, all impatient. When he heard it took five minutes to fix it, he frowned and looked at his watch.

One minute past, his brows knitted deeper. Two minutes, he was checking his watch. Another minutes past the man had made noises from his stepping shoes. When she finished the fix, the man robbed the lifebook from her hands and dashed out from the door.

[ Second half of the day ]

It was a mystery how the customer managed to break the monitoring which in turns bricked the tech. She requested the assistance from the senior and said technician told her to reinstall the spyware back (?) and everything will be done.

Spyware? So the company installed spyware inside every single of their products huh. A fun point to take a note of.
