Description Located in an abandoned construction site, this base serves as an integral spot to prevent horsemen from gaining any territory amongst the humans in the city.
Bonuses: Death Hunters here get a bonus. Add +1 to the time limit for each Death Hunter. Mist Hunters roll 1d4. If even they can copycat this bonus.
Mechanic: Roll 1d6. If 6, your guarding the base goes smoothly (rp it out = success!). Otherwise you spawn a horseman mob. It has a cumulative 30/30 HP (+10 for EACH ADDITIONAL CHARACTER IN THE RP). It does no auto damage but if 5 turns pass it will begin attacking humans, one human casualty every turn that passes. Every human life lost is your fault.

When Ruth was finally granted permission to go out and defend a base, she was hoping to encounter some Horsemen. She'd be pretending to be one and working for them while infiltrating their businesses so often she almost felt like she wasn't a true Hunter at times.
Unfortunately for her, things had been... quite for the most part. The sole silver lining to this whole thing was that if she was going to be bored out of her ******** skull, she at least wasn't going to suffer alone.
"See anything?" she asked, not really looking at her two companions as she kept her eyes firmly focused on the horizon.
She had honestly been itching to test out her skills against some Horsemen after the few times she had run into them as enemies when she was doing the undercover missions. After all they hadn't been the best encounters over all since she had been focusing on doing the job as well as possible so she could report back everything to her supervises. So when she was asked to team up with two other's to defend a base she wasn't about to say no. Besides, it wouldn't hurt to support the two she would be going with being that they were of the Death and Sun Divisions and she was a Moon.
However it didn't seem like going against anyone was going to happen at this base as everything was quiet and peaceful. "No, I don't see anything out of the ordinary." She said from where she leaned against a pillar so she could keep an eye on things with out worrying about anyone sneaking up from behind. "I assume since your asking that you don't see anything either." She said with a sigh then looked to their last companion. "What about you? Spot any Horsemen lurking about?" She asked the only male of the group.
She doubted he had seen anything either since he would have said something but hey, it never hurt to ask. She let her eyes drift back to their surroundings and tried not to let herself go lax out of boredom. After all it was more likely that they WOULD get attacked if their let their guard down. Then again that might be less boring...

Andrew was freaken bored! he wanted to fight something. He wanted to kill horsemen. He wanted at least something to happen.
No luck. Though his company wasn't completely awful.
He plopped down on stair and stared off, looking terrible bored. "I don't see anything that shouldn't be here. I say we bail and go play the sets." they were so close to the casinos. So close. He could make a killing at black jack. He knew the odds well, and if he wasn't interrupted he could probably even get away with some old fashioned card counting.

Considering her current situation and the company she was keeping, the Death Hunter didn't think she needed to stop herself. She took out a stick of cigarette and stuck it in her mouth. Lighting up, Ruth drew in a long, deep drag and made no motion to offer one to either hunter. "You looking to lose out on your pay so soon, Andrew?" she smirked, the mocking tone was an affectionate one.
Glancing over her shoulder to look at the junior hunter, "Hey, Meara was it? You any good at counting cards?"

She tilted her head to look at the Sun Hunter again with an amused look on her face. "Do you do that often?" She asked. On one hand she kind of agreed with him that they could be doing something interesting rather then just standing here, but on the other hand with their luck it could be that the moment they left something happened. She looked back over at Ruth and gave a small shrug. "Honestly I have never tried but I have a good memory and I'm willing to learn."
"I won't loose it. I'm not dumb. I'm pretty good at it when you aren't distracting me. If you are going to do that, you better pass me one." his weapon was already getting very agitated.
Smoke fire! burn it all down!
"uh shut up." he mumbled to it. Why did it get like this every time something lit up?
"I have, do you want to practice? I have card set here." like magic he pulled on from one of his pockets. Did he always carry around a card set? no, but base sitting was boring as hell.

Ruth just gave Andrew a lazy smile, opening her coat to show the box tucked away in her coat's inner pocket, "You want one, you gotta come over here and get it." Because of course she was going to make him work for his smokes, that was the very least she would do considering she usually charged people for a stick.
Another drag and a cloud of smoke later, she motioned for them to gather around as she pulled up a table. "We can't leave the base until our relievers get here but we can definitely teach important life skills to our little Moonie over here."
It was amusing to watch the two interact, clearly the two had know each other for a while now and it showed. "Sure if you don't mind teaching me how to." She said as she looked at the deck in his hands. Meara was about to move over close to him to actually check out the deck when Ruth pulled out the table instead. "Sounds good to me." With that she moved over to the table with a smile, ready to start learning a few tricks, not even minding the nickname.

Andrew got up from his spot, and grabbed one. He'd pay her back later. The question was where did the fire come from? His weapon of coarse. He lit it up, toke a drag and then pretty much ignore the cigarette. He wanted it on, maybe chewed on it but was the sensation more than the nicotine he was interested in.
"Alright let's get to work showing our little Moonie some useful skills." She seemed ready to go. Andrew pulled out the deck, shuffled and they played.
