Eco-friendly Shapeshifter

Familiar Spotting The sundeck is warm and friendly, the faint breeze bringing the scent of foreign flowers, fauna, and murky water. Wild and exciting, but it is only to get better.
The Attendant motions to a table where binoculars are set out. "Hello! Grab a pair of these and you can look out at the underbrush as we pass it. There are many familiars in this area and you might be able to see a few in their natural habitat."

 Aedus was somewhat glad to be leaving the ruins and somewhat sad, he enjoyed seeing all the familiars in the ruins and trying to find interesting trinkets. He had met many familiars but hadn't found many trinkets in the ruins. He was thrilled though that they were going on a ship and the first activity that caught his eye was familiar spotting. Aedus looked at to the other side of the river. He looked closely to see if he could see any familiars in the grass and flowers. He had forgotten at the moment to look for anyone too excited about looking for new familiars.

 Contessa had found one familiar in the caves. Rather it tripped her quite inconveniently. So the idea of more familiars had her a bit hesitant. Taking the binoculars in her hand she sighed. Her camera was very much broken and for some reason, this was reminding her of it. Holding it up to her face she looked around to the bushes. Hoping to see something, but also hesitant of what she might see. Her vesper cat climbed up to her shoulder and tried to sit there looking at the bushes tail lazily swinging. "Oh get off me!" she snapped shooing it down. Where it proceeded to circle her legs and rub against her. Maybe she should leave before another attached itself to her.

 Coco was so relieved to be leaving the ruins she found them creepy at times, then again she had met some wonderful special familiars there that she looked forward to introducing to her two familiars back home. Coco looked up at the ship they would be taking to the next location. She had never been on a boat before so she was a little bit nervous about riding on a large ship. Coco didn't really know anything about boats. She listened to their new host and then went to the side of the boat picking up a pair of binoculars to see if she could see any familiars in the underbrush.

 The ruins had been fun, and Nashira was glad she had found one familiar who was interested in her. She knew that Nadi would care for the other she'd found, so it was ok with her that she'd only walked away with a new, fluffy fennikit. She smiled, thinking about how the little thing had been sleeping on her bed and didn't want to come with her on the ship. That was ok. She didn't want it to be jealous on this trip, since she couldn't pay all the attention to it. Nashira stood on the sundeck, watching the river banks carefully. She wondered what they would see out here. Leaning forward, she rested her elbows on the rail and shaded her eyes. There was a student beside her, though she hadn't paid them much attention. "I wonder what sort of familiars we will see." She said, staring hard into the brush that lined the river. It was hard to tell if there was something moving back there, or if it was the sun glinting off the water.

 He was so glad to be done with the ruins. It had been fun at first, but things got a little creepy after a while. He totally slept snuggled with his familiars all night. But today was a new day, and a new adventure. it seemed like a cruise was today adventure! What could go wrong on a boat? His flitterat, Nova was safely tucked in his bag again, though his little starry face was poking out of the bag to see what was going on. Vega was so eager for this familiar spotting thing, and wanted to share this with his new friends. He was sure Enomu wouldn't really... like being dragged around, and he didn't see Kanda this morning yet, so poor Leto would find himself being practically dragged along. "Isn't this great?!" Vega had Leto's hand grasped in one of his own, the other held a pair of binoculars to his face as he looked over the riverbank and into he brush. "Do you think any of the familiars out there eat the plants along the river? I wonder if we'll see anything grazing, or drinking from the river, or even swimming!" He was pumped.

Odessa was glad to be out in the sun again. It was a far cry from the dusty caverns that blocked almost all light except for a few torches or magical light that was scattered here and there. The fresh air felt amazing and she closed her eyes enjoying it for as long as she could before realizing that someone was trying to hand her some binoculars to scout out the ground. She sheepishly took them, coming out here more for the air than spotting familiars, but she supposed she could give it a try while here, it wasn't like she had anything else to do.
(Not sure if it's 100, I will check when I'm on a computer tomorrow.)

Kiessi was glad to finally get out of the caverns and onto a different area of the exploration. They were still slightly nervous but being here was better than being stuck in the hot and possibly haunted tunnels. Kiessi immediately drew in a deep breath of fresh air, admiring the breeze from the deck of the ship. This was definitely more their style than the caverns were, and here they weren't likely to run into ghosts or creepy murals. That was at least a breath of relief. They were just glad to finally be out of there and somewhere more refreshing.

Cass was happy to finally be outside again. The sun made him feel more at ease after having been stuck in the dark for at least couple of hours. It was nice and bright here and the air wasn't as stale and dusty, he could take a deep breath and not cough while doing so. This made Cass much happier and his usual good charm was starting to return. He happily took a pair of binoculars placing them in front of his eyes and set to looking for these familiars out near the brush. Maybe he'd even be lucky enough to find one or two!

 You know he couldn't quite recall hearing anything about a cruise. Cruise after all meant boat and boats where one of his phobias. Well it wasn't a phobia in the sense that it crippled him and sent him into hyperventilation, but he definitely didn't like it. He supposed his mind had seen familiars and ancient runs and he just blocked everything out. So here he was on a boat. He would take the ruins again, okay thanks. No this was being silly, he could do this. He could... he took one step on the boat and instantly his arm was grabbing Vega. It didn't make sense. He could fly, boats should hold no problem to him. However standing over water... it was just... he didn't like it. He needed to latch on to the nearest person like a barnacle. Vega was just the sacrifice this time. " yeah... great." Leto muttered latching on to the railing. Hopefully there would be some cute familiar to distract him from thinking about the swaying of the boat and the waves and the.... " okay I have a boat phobia"

The sudden death grip should have been a give away. It was the exact thing he'd done to Leto when they first entered the ruins. "...A boat phobia?" He took a moment to process it, letting the binoculars settle against his chest as Leto had a firm grip on one arm. With his other hand, he gave him a reassuring pat on the arms. "I'm sorry. I wish I'd known." He might not have tried so hard to drag Leto onto the ship. "Oh! Don't think of it as a boat, think of it like the bus, only you can spread your wings out here. Or a carriage!" He shifted his arm carefully out of Leto's grasp, and maneuvered it so they were holding hands.He pointed across the water to the bushes. "Just focus on looking for familiars. I... I promise, I won't let anything bad happen to you on the boat, ok?" He wanted his friend to be comfortable, and he felt SO bad for making him face his phobia like this. "I'm here for you." He slowly picked up he binoculars again so he could look out over the water. "HEY DO YOU SEE THAT?!" Nasaiki Sorry if it double quotes. I broke my post.

Niamh was feeling rested after their previous adventures, and quite pleased to be setting out on this little trip. She trailed after Aedus, and happily accepted a pair of binoculars. It was a little muggy, but the tiny Fey didn't mind it much. Far better than being cold!
She basked in the sun, and put the binoculars up to her eyes. She scanned the brush at the far side of the bank, hoping for a peak of something interesting. She glanced back to Aedus, giving him a smile. She brushed a few loose strands of hair away from her eyes, before they could get in the way of her scanning. She didn't want to miss anything!

 Kayla Sue was so excited to be out of the ruins. She had had an amazing time but her feet were killing her. She was sure she hadn't walked that much in her whole life, which was only six years but still. Kayla Sue had been sketching and new design for clothing the whole shot trip back on the bus, the inspiration for the ruins had been wonderful for her work. After getting off the bus and heading for the sundeck, Kayla Sue hears an attendant announce that the wild life over her is a wonderful sight. taking a pair of binoculars form the table the attendant motioned too, Kayla Sue walked over to the edge of the railing to look out and see what familiars could be seen.

Aedus looked up for a moment to see who was talking to him before turning his sight back to the shore where he hoped to see familiars. His tone was excited when he said. "I don't know but I look forward to finding out." He wasn't looking next to him at the moment eyes trained on the flowers to the left looking to see if there were any familiars there. Then Aedus said "I'm Aedus by the way. I love familiars so much." He said in an excited cheerful tone. Aedus was so excited about maybe seeing any familiars he had never seen before. "You like familiars too I take it??" He asked the being standing next to him. He highly doubted anyone who didn't like familiars would decide to come on this trip.

"Me too. I wonder what sort of strange and unusual familiars we still have yet to see." after all, there had been whole races, like the cherub and kumiho, who had been hidden, so why should she think they'd found all the familiars? "Nashira." She offered her name, glancing to the battered looking elf beside her. "I adore familiars. It's so hard being here without my specterfoxes, but I didn't think it wise to bring the 7 of them. They can keep an eye on the others for the weekend though." She shifted to look upstream of where they were. "I want to work with familiars after I graduate...possibly training them, I think." She was slowly formulating a plan for graduation, but didn't have one just yet.
