Calico Cruises
- "Good morning. I am the Coordinator and Director of the Crooked Tree Wildlife Conservation," She pauses before continuing, "Today we will be taking a short bus ride to the Twisted Naga river. From there, well..." A wry smile crinkles her eyes, "I wouldn't want to ruin the surprise."
The bus ride to this mysterious place is mercifully short, taking you from the lodge to the Twisted Naga River. It's very wide and in this spot, slow moving. A dock is settled snugly against the tide, with a handful of boats, large and small, anchored here and there. A few small businesses are present, but they're closed for now. Only the fishermen seem to be out. Oh, and a giant luxury cruise liner.
Everyone is ushered off the bus and kept close by as the Coordinator once more addresses the group.
"Crooked Tree Wildlife Conservation teams up with Calico Cruises. The Conservation area is in a remote location, and we have found it is faster," The Coordinator hesitates, "And more fun to take a cruise there than the hike."
Luxury River Cruise Liner
The spacious Calico Cruise uses the same enchantments as the bus: it is much larger inside than it appears to be on the outside. Students are first greeted with the large foyer, where multiple reception desks in warm wood await. Students can collect their keycard, and are instructed to deposit their bag in their room.
There are four floors to the cruise liner, with one being below the entrance floor. The upper two are mixed between sleeping quarters and various amenities. For students that need special accommodations, the rooms are tailored for any race to be comfortable. At the time of check in, the race and needs of each race are logged, and the room has adjusted itself to be hospitable for you! All rooms include a small veranda and chairs, in case you wish to sit alone and enjoy the sights.
As far as ship amenities go, there is an open air curated library, with books pertaining to the history and culture of the area, plus popular fiction. There is also a sundeck on the 'roof' of the uppermost floor, with lounge chairs and cozy tables. A dining area is flush with delicious meals and snacks, and students are welcome to come and go as they please. There was another place for food - a larger buffet area, but it has been commandeered by a caretaker into a sort of study hall... Eugh. And there is a lounge, with many plush chairs, tables, sofas, and cozy nooks for private conversations or for mingling. It appears that special snacks are being set up at one of the larger tables in the center of the room.

Aurora was so happy to be out of those ruins that seemed to have been giving her very bad luck for some reason. She could only hope that this ship wouldn't be bad luck for her as well, that would really be depressing. She went to get a keycard and put her things in her room. She went to put her things in her room and then went to the upper deck to relax in the sun for a bit, before checking anything else out on the ship. She had heard about familiar spotting but figured she could go do that a little bit later.
