 Morning of November the 8th.
Near the end of her dream Adenium begins to wake feeling restless and as her eyelids slowly open she realizes it’s still dark out. Yet, having woken at this time of morning several times before she know that after two hours the tree will be filled with light. Sleepily looking around she finds that Ruby and Alora seem to be deeply sleeping like she was. As she gets up to stretch Adenium tries her best to keep quite because it’s bad enough that she’s awake at this time. If she could she’d curl up once again in her soft and warm nest like bed to sleep for those last two hours if not a third. Though, from past experiences she’s learned that it’s better if she got up and walked around because she’s not going to sleep any time soon.

Normally after she’s walked around she became tried enough to fall asleep until Ruby or Alora woke her up. All because Adenium loves adventures doesn’t mean that she doesn’t help out as much as she possibly can. Having grown up in such a peaceful area with such wonderful others Adenium has always felt the need to do what she can when she can. If Ruby hadn’t found her Box she doesn’t know what she’d be doing now or who she might be with. All she knows is that she feels safe and comfortable around everyone in this area because Miller, Candie, and Plato would never allow anyone to harm them. As Ruby, Adenium, and Alora grew up in this area they felt like those three were their Parents. Of course, Alora has Parents and Siblings whom she visits whenever she can pull herself away from this area. If Ruby and Adenium had known she had Family they would have tried getting her back to them as soon as possible. With the help of their adoptive Parents because they were still too young to leave the area by themselves.

While making her way to the entrance of their home she remembers how nice the moss feels under her paws. Before she steps onto the cool or cold the ground outside is now that it’s November. She realizes what might happen if she’s not prepared and steps onto that cool or cold ground. If the ground is colder than she thinks it is she’ll leap back while crying out in alarm. Which will wake Ruby and Alora which is the last thing she wants to do because they need their rest. Instead of moving quickly she takes the time to move her front left paw just above the ground. As she slowly lowers it down her jaw and muscles tighten so by the time her paw touches the ground she doesn’t cry out. With the ground being as cold as she thought it might be she was able to prepare herself so that she didn’t react.

Now knowing just how cold the ground is she quickly walks from the entrance and makes her way to their paths. There are several paths that begin on the one curved side of their homeland. Even with so many starter paths to choose from they often travel on one starter path for a few months. Mostly because the paths branch off further down and each of those two to three paths that lead somewhere new and exciting. With each area being so large it takes a few days for them to thoroughly explore each new area they find. Having so many choice means they can continue to find new adventures for years to come. When she walks by her home she realizes she is that much closer to the path that she will explore this morning. Ruby, Adenium, and Alora have walked this starting path many times before, though, there is still a lot to see. Seeing as there are several paths they still haven’t walked further down this starter path. Certain paths continue while certain other paths abruptly come to an end and something new begins like a field of some kind.

When they tree of them were young it took them longer to get to their destination so they couldn’t do too much in one day. They often had to visit the same place several times before they could explore the entire area. Now that they are older they can get to their destination quicker and spend more time there before they leave to head home. While rushing onto the path she remembers that all of the paths curve so choosing to only go left or right won’t lead her home. As she picks up her pace she decides to go to the left each and every time to see where she ends up. Knowing that with each choice new path she takes she’ll be getting that much closer to something new and exciting. With each new path she reaches she begins to wonder more and more about what new and exciting things could be waiting for her.

Having gotten to the beginning of the fourth path and wonders if anyone else is up this early. The further she gets the more she thinks about what it would be like to meet someone on any of the paths. So when she sees someone walking towards her she begins to slow down so she doesn’t run into them. Once they reach the halfway mark of the path Adenium smiles as she greets them, “Hello there, I’m Adenium.” As she looks at him she realizes that she’s never seen anyone with butterfly wings before or so small unless they were a young one. Of course, she notices his hair and realizes she also never saw anyone with hair like that or such golden irises. While she watches him she realizes hoping that he’ll notice that she’s no threat to him and hopes he’s no threat to her.

  After bowing his head he smiles before introducing himself, “Hello, I’m Hiroshi Joji.” Looking around a bit he sees something under a bush then looks back at her a bit concerned, “It seem we aren’t the only ones out here because there is a Box under that bush. I don’t know about you, though, I don’t often find anyone on this path this early in the morning. Nor do I normally find Boxes just laying around because I often look. Seeing as I never know who or what I’ll find when I walk even on the same path. Things often chance so there is always something interesting to see or hear each and every day.”

Quickly inhaling Adenium hurries forward to gently take hold of Hiroshi Joji’s front paw so they can help the Box. Once they get to the bush she lets his paw go then hurries around the back of the bush to gently push it forward. When it’s far enough from the bush she wraps herself around the Box before cooing, “Thank you, Hiroshi Joji. It was kind of you to mention the Box to me. Even if you didn’t know how willing I would be to tend to it because the little one must be so cold.” After curling around the Box she looks at him smiling brightly, “Would you mind laying across my hips and shoulders to warm the top of the Box? You did help by point it out to me so I feel that you will help me to warm the little one.”

Being more than willing to help Hiroshi Joji flutters his wings a bit before he hovers over her back to position himself over her. He gently lowers himself down so that his back paws rest on her hips and his front paws rest on her shoulders. “Your welcome, and I would be glad to help because I wouldn’t want the little one to get any colder. Of course, I am curious about why you are out here so early. Having walked this path many times before I didn’t think that I would finally meet someone. I’ve always walked to this area so I could lay under the apple tree just a few feet away. As long as the weather is nice enough I go for a walk because this area looks so peaceful in the morning. When the light is at the right angle the area seems to almost glow or sparkle because of the morning dew.”

After hearing how he described what the area looks like once the light shines on the dew she decides to stay a while longer. Knowing why he comes she replies, “I was restless so I decided to walk a while so that when I returned home I would be able to sleep for one or two more hours. Now that we have to warm the little one I’ll stay as long as I can before I start back so I may or may not be able to see what you see. If I don’t I can always come back another morning after the little one emerges from their Box.” After that they lay there quietly until she asks, “Would you like to see where I live? I don’t want my Family to worry about me when they wake up to find I’m not there. Since I have my own home I wouldn’t mind letting you live there with me. Then we could walk to this area together to keep each other company as long as someone can watch the Box. Though, that is if you don’t have a Family or a home of your own because I would never ask you to leave if you did.”

Wordless Hiroshi Joji flutters his wings a bit before taking off into the air where he moves far enough away to turn then land. While facing her he smiles, “I don’t have a Family that I know of while I am more than willing to move because my home is wherever I am. Having no one to keep me at any one place I travel to nearby areas that have flower fields and water. So I don’t mind moving to the area you live, though, I wouldn’t want to intrude on you or your Family. While I don’t mind walking you home while we think it over because something this important should get to know each other better. That way if you change your mind you can tell me by the time we arrive at your home. If you still decide to invite me to stay than I will happily accept. So when you hang out with you Family I could stay with the Box to make sure nothing happens.”

Before they go anywhere Adenium gathered a few vines to wrap around the Box so that she could carry it home. Having tied a bow on the top the Box looks like a wonderful wrapped gift. When she looked over at Hiroshi Joji she found him admiring her vine work so she looks over her work. To her surprise it actually looks pretty good as she lowers her head she gently bite onto the bow vine. As she lifts her she turns so that she can place the Box onto her back so they can talk. Hiroshi Joji worried about the Box hovers over it as they head back to Adenium’s home. As they talk they both realize that the little one in the Box is learning as much about them as they are learning about each other. Even after Adenium was more than convinced that Hiroshi Joji is a nice guy so she invted him to live with her. This time Hiroshi Joji couldn’t turn her offer down because he had no excuse not to accept it now that they know more about each other. As they continue to talk they learn about what they have in common such as their love of flower fields.

When they arrive Adenium walks into her home as Hiroshi Joji flies in after her while taking it all in. He’d seen moss growing on the outside of trees, though, never on the inside of a tree. As Adenium removes the vines he walks around getting used to living inside of a tree instead of a cave. It never bothered him because the cave kept him cool enough when it was hot out and warm enough when it was cold out. By the time she gets the vines off she looks up to see Hiroshi Joji carefully moving her items around to see everything she’s collected so far. When she yawns he quickly looks over remembering that Adenium is watching him which causes him to blush. Even if she’s willing to share her home she never did say anything about letting him move her stuff around. After he curls up next to the Box she curls up around them both as Adenium and Hiroshi Joji fall into a deep sleep. It had been one interesting morning and both of them had tired themselves out by the time they got home.
