Hobbies:
Thrill Seeking - An adrenaline junkie at heart, Paul is willing to do just about anything to get a thrill. Putting himself in harm's way is not a concern, especially when the payoff proves worth it. Who needs drugs when you can create your own natural ecstasy? Jumping out or onto moving vehicles, skydiving, picking fights - he'll create trouble if he thinks it'll bring an edge of excitement.
Working Out - In his line of work, it pays off to be healthy and fit. You can't run or fight if you're fat, so Paul ensures to allot a fair amount of time to keeping himself in shape. Running is one of his all-time favorite exercises, followed by strength training and swimming. Gotta keep yourself top notch if your body's used to being abused!
Sports/Spectating - Having grown up being very athletic, Paul has a great appreciation for all things sports. Whether it's watching the game at home or at a bar (mostly the bar - that's where you can also get away with drinking, yelling and possibly bet money on events, after all), he especially favors basketball and football. On a personal level, he enjoys basketball, swimming and running, the latter two being the most obvious, as they're also part of his workout regime. The Olympics are fun to watch, though he's probably fairly intoxicated and poor (or rich??) by the time the whole thing's over with.
Virtues:
Enthusiastic - You ready? He's ready - let's go, go, go! It doesn't take much to convince him to do something and once you've gotten his agreement, he's ready to roll and will, more than likely, be genuinely excited for it.
Confident - He's very assured in his abilities and capabilities, providing little to no hesitation. This can result in some terrible things (see: flaw of overconfidence) but being shy is not a quality to describe Mr. Jones. Having an aura of confidence surrounding him can make anything he does look intentional - even if it's not.
Dedicated - He'll see the task through until the end. This makes him a desirable candidate for some of the odd jobs he's requested for, but in his partnerships and friendships, it's a quality that makes him a dependable person in your corner of the ring.
Masochistic - While most people would think his masochistic tendencies are a weakness or perversion, Paul has harnessed this aspect of his personality and found ways to use it to his advantage in his career. While opponents remain on the defensive due to the need for self-preservation, Paul fails to flinch at the potential of harm coming his way, making him a worthy adversary to look out for or ally to depend on.
Flaws:
Temper -- When he gets mad, he gets mad. Throwing punches or things is the easiest way for him to release any pent up anger or fury. Easy to incite, holes in walls and bruises on companions is not an uncommon occurrence, although he's more apt to express violence towards objects than women, who are at an unfair advantage in his mind, being the less-powerful of the two genders. "Talking about it" does little to no good; he needs a physical means to release his aggression, which isn't always the most opportune option, depending on the scenario.
Possessive - Paul doesn't share well and reacts accordingly when someone tries to wedge their way in between him and whatever (or whomever) he has his eye on. Considering his temper, this can result in either fights or threats - whichever he's in the mood for, really.
Overconfident - He thinks he's so good that sometimes he doesn't even realize when he's not until it's far too late. This can result in him finding himself in hot water with his friends, clients or himself. Injuries aren't uncommon, as well.
Masochistic - Because Paul enjoys his injuries, it means that there is a loss of defensive action on his part. Instead of dodging some blows, he accepts them for the impact and pain. This also creates a dangerous potential for him to find himself caught up in the euphoria behind the injury, distracting himself from his task and the risks he's putting himself in.
