Why was Andrew down where no sun hunter had any business being? The answer was simple. He was bored. Bored didn't even come close, he was crawling up the walls, they couldn't leave, all he had done for the past week was clean, and he had lost all his stuff.
Besides, this time, this time she had challenged him. He knew about the security camera, so he decided to try and work around it, with a picture. He just taped it up over the camera he saw and then got to work.
He had tried to time it while she was off, hard to do because this one rarely left her office. Usually his work was done spur of the moment, not today.
Andrew settled with just moving her desk across the room for today, something big, noticable, but not a real problem. He just wanted to annoy. The thing was, this task was a little noisier than he predicted and took longer, because damn this thing was heavy. What did she have in here, bricks?

The Life Division meeting had gone well, at least at the beginning. She'd even gotten a thumbs up from one of the assistants: that had to mean something, didn't it? She supposed she would have to wait to find out if she was going to get her grants approved until after the mess that the hurricane had left behind was cleaned up, at the very least.
She trudged into her office, exhausted beyond belief. She'd overworked herself after the meeting, as usual, just to try and squeak out some more results to pass on to her superiors. She opened the door to her office, her shoulders shrugged down and her eyes glassy, and walked right past Andrew who was standing at her desk, holding it on one side as he tried to move it to the other side of her room.
It was as if she hadn't even noticed his very obvious form standing there, trespassing, and just walked on by.
She flopped onto her couch, laid face down, and groaned as the feel of being horizontal gave her a modicum of peace.
It was exactly thirty two seconds until it finally hit her, like a bolt of lightning. She scrambled up to her feet, grabbing her glasses and putting them back on her face from their perch on her head, just to get a better look at her intruder. Then she waved a finger at him, her face pinching as it started to turn red with anger.
"You." She hissed, furious. "How dare you!"

Character's name: Riley Character's clan: Life Hunter, Specialization: Golem Research Character's journal link: Here Character's Arcana: Judgement (E) (Double Bonus Active) BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF MY CHARACTER: She's 6 foot even, thin, and a little on the nerdy side. Glasses, dark skin, thick purple-black dreds held up in a ponytail, and very introverted. She's always in the Life Labs, and has trouble talking to others. About anything. Ever.
Andrew hadn't expected her to get back so soon. He stood frozen for a long moment, as Riley walked across the room and got comfortable. He thought maybe he could just scuttle out like nothing happened.
No suck luck. Now she was mad. And her face was so red, he wanted to laugh, but he kept his face straight. "Sorry, ma'am, we got to move this office down the hall." He said in his best stupid grunt voice.

She stormed up close to him, too close, and then backed away a step. No need to get that close to anyone, ever. Ugh.
"Quit fooling around. Take your hands off of my desk, before I take your hands off of your body."
Oooo, she was mad. So mad. And for a moment Andrew thought she was going to kill him. Well, not kill, the fear sheild should protect him, but for a moment he wondered how true that was.
"I'd like to keep my hands thanks." He set the desk down. Not back, just down. "I'll just be leaving then." If he could escape with his hands, he'd count himself lucky today.
It really was too bad he didn't get a snap shot of her face. It was pretty great.

She stared at him for a moment, before she scrambled to stand in front of the door, arms outstretched to keep him from getting away. "Excuse me?! You think you can just get away that easily? You've been terrorizing my office for months now! You need to be punished for your crimes. Punished!"
She was trembling a little bit. These were the most words she'd said to another human being outside of the lab in - in -
She couldn't even remember. Before Deus, that was for sure.
"What's your name and Division, Hunter? Who's your superior?"
She didn't know his name? Really? Like he was going to tell her his real name. "Jason. I told you I was sent down here. I don't know about any crimes."
Wasn't she over reacting a bit for a stolen stapler? Ok, maybe more than one. Maybe some other stuff too.
He pulled out his phone and "Checked" it. Really he took a picture, because that was just the best face.
"I'm pretty sure it said so somewhere in here."

She folded her arms, unconvinced. "Well, Jason. What Division are you in??"
"Ahh, Can't find it." he shrugged. "Ahh one of them I think. North?" He grinned at her. "It was one of the four directions."
Andrew knew that he was pretty well caught, and now was just messing with her. He just needed to slip by her and escape. Once he did he was free. Though that picture might have made it worth a trip to the brig. He quickly sent it to a folder and then shut down the camera option. "I'm pretty new."

She fluttered her eyes in annoyance. What a load of s**t.
"If you want to leave this room, you're going to have to tell me what Division you're actually in, so that I can speak to your supervisor and you get the punishment you deserve. Otherwise, there's only one other way out. Fighting."
"Do you really want me to set fire to your office?" Now that would be hysterical. But in fairness, He though she should be warned that any fight with him would result in collateral damage. A lot of it.
His weapon awake, humming with excitement. More fear. Fighting. Yeah probably not the best idea, but Andrew wasn't totally against it. He could probably distract her, but it meant pulling his weapon and making himself extremely identifiable. "I mean, the last time I fought in close quarters, half the building burned down. Not fun." he shrugged at her. And moving up to a slightly more aggressive stance.
He was debating going through her.

In truth, he actually had her there. It wasn't that she was afraid of him - she was relatively sure that, at her level of expertise, she would be able to smoke him. The problem there was that many, many things in her office were volatile, explosive, and incendiary in nature. If he had fire powers..
She was best not provoking him here.
"Fine." She muttered, taking her own phone out. She made no effort to hide the fact that she was taking his picture. "I'll scan this through the database. You're just making me do this the hard way. But you will be hearing from your superior, about all of this. An invasion of privacy is not only rude, it's dangerous. You could tamper with some very important work I have going here. And for what? A practical joke? Do you see me laughing?"
Andrew noticed the phone and stuck out his tongue. Fair was fair he had hers. And she would have a fun time sorting though all the photos find him. Because Jason was not his name.
"I wasn't breaking anything. Nothing is broken." Nothing was even missing, he didn't get around to pocketing anything. Really she had no proof he did anything except move the desk. "You really need to get out more."
"Alright, I'm out, see you later." he scooted by her with his phone in his hand. He did snap another picture of her from the side. He was claiming as many as he could while he could. And then he took off down the hall at a high speed walk.

"You don't need to break something to be guilty of breaking and entering. You have entered a private office without permission, and that is not allowed. Why do I need to explain this to you! It's as if you're a child! A little child!"
Of course, she stopped thinking he was a child when he took a picture of her from the side. There was no reason to be taking more pictures of her unless he wanted them. And that was somehow even worse than breaking and entering! This Hunter was clearly barging his way into her office over and over because he had some infantile attraction for her, which made her shudder to think of.
She would still be processing his picture in the database and informing his superiors of what he'd done, but now, she would also make sure to try and stay away from him as much as possible. No need to perpetuate any strange, hormonal behavior.
She closed the door once he was gone, and locked it. Then she unlocked and locked it again. Just in case.
