THE BANK FRONT Bank of X is a tall, seven story building with white washed walls on the outside and a pair of golden edged, frosted glass entry doors. From an outsider's appearance, it is really very beautiful, if not perhaps a smidge daunting - but it's a bank, so daunting is in its instruction manual.
The inside of the bank is just as clean cut and beautiful as the outside. The glossy tiled floor is a charcoal shade of black, and so are the marble counters. All of the fixtures are gold, from the grilles that surround the tellers, to the locks on the bathroom doors. It gives the impression of a very successful, very impressive place.
The seventh floor is the master suite belonging to Mr. Crane, President of Bank of X. No one knows what goes on up there; his own private security team guards the place day and night.
THE UNDERBELLY To the humans, Bank of X is simply a place to deposit funds, take out a loan, or do other such regularities. The Horsemen, however, have a different idea. Bank of X is the sole converter of Human to Horseman currency, monopolizing the monetary market of the Horsemen and providing a dominating sense of power in terms of the Horsemen trade market. They do not like to be challenged. Not only that, but they have been known to call in loan payments in a very particular way...a not-so-nice way...
THE PRESIDENT
The president and CEO of Bank of X is a tall man with sleek, extremely long white-blond hair swept back away from his pale face and small black horns paired with a pair of sharp blue eyes that seem to see a lot more than he lets on. To his employees, he is known as Mr. Crane, or just simply Crane. Everything from his sharply handsome good looks to his meticulously cared for and staggeringly expensive, tailored suits speaks of power and influence - but he can easily disarm with a smile when he wants to.
And he's smiling now, because new employees mean money, and Crane is always willing to assist anyone who'd like to earn an extra dollar here and there.
The general consensus among his employees is that Crane is a "cold hearted b*****d." Or sometimes a "frosty eyed demon." Most seem to think that he is a greedy, selfish man who doesn't care about anything except money. In spite of that, however, there's not a whole lot of resentment or disrespect - in fact, his employees seem to admire his ruthlessness and strength when it comes to the bank. Seeming insults are spoken with awe and inspiration rather with disdain and disgust.
Instead of the President, there stands instead a petite androgynous figure in a pristinely tailored dark suit and long, pale magenta hair in a braid down their back. Their eyes are large and luminous, but their expression is completely devoid of almost any emotion at all; were it not for the way they speak and move, one would almost think they were a doll.
"Mr. Crane can't be here at the present time," says the figure - whose name is Luna, Vice President of Bank of X. "Please continue with your work."

gaia_star A reminder to go here on how to take on a job!Quote: [ JOB LISTING ] Bank teller
[ DIFFICULTY LEVEL ] gaia_star
[ TASK ] Crane Luna would like to see your skills. In order to do that, they require you to perform a four hour shift as a bank teller in one of the quieter branches of the building.
[ MECHANICS ] Please roll 1d6 to see how well you do at Bank of X this fine day. You may have two clients a day. 1 - You do relatively well, but you don't do anything special. Luna shows almost no reaction to this, but you get the feeling they weren't impressed. ( fail )
2 - You do so well that it surprises even yourself; Luna's almost imperceptible nod to you is a rare thing. ( pass )
3 - Your work suffers because you're too nervous to perform correctly, mostly due to the fact that Luna is standing in the back of the room, observing silently. They say nothing at all, but they give the impression that you are doing quite badly...( fail )
4 - There are a few mishaps, including one where you mistake Luna for a passing bystander. They don't seem to mind this, however. ( pass )
5 - You are very quick and thorough. Maybe not amazingly talented, but you do good work and Luna is content to leave you to your work. ( pass )
6 - You mistakenly try and work at the loan counter instead of the regular counters. Luna leaves halfway through. ( fail )
[ UPON COMPLETION ]
+1 Raffle Ticket (you can only claim a MAX of 3 per player this way!)
+5 Currency

[ DIFFICULTY LEVEL ] gaia_star gaia_star
[ TASK ] Crane Luna would like you to take over for a sick employee in order to gauge your skills and also because time is money and a missing employee means missing possible money. It's time to do a little processing in order to prove your worth.
[ MECHANICS ] Roll 3d6 and match your results below. You may have two clients a day. Two matching numbers - You did all right. Not terribly, not fantastically, but you managed to at least get several things processed - and on time, to boot. There was a troublesome customer, but you managed to do well! ( pass )
All three matching numbers (except 6,6,6) - You did AMAZING. Luna watches as you skillfully handle irate customers and confused patrons, especially one customer in particular who seems not to understand how banks work... ( pass )
All three random numbers - You're average. Unremarkable. Dull. Luna says nothing and leaves before your shift is over - which only settles in their lack of interest in you, even if you did manage to process a customer who likes to scream. ( fail )
Sequential numbers (does not have to be directly in order - i.e. 2,3,1 is fine) - You're nothing spectacular, but Luna still seems to find you competent, and while you start off rocky when dealing with a customer who thinks money is a guaranteed thing, by the end of your temporary shift, you've got a knack for things. ( pass )
6, 6, 6 - You do so badly that Luna actually says something to you, and that something is "Please leave for today" in a very small, quiet voice that still fails to indicate who exactly they are. ( fail )

Quote: [ JOB LISTING ] Loan shark
[ DIFFICULTY LEVEL ] gaia_star gaia_star gaia_star
[ TASK ] It's time to call in some loans - aka the bank's most formidable and infamous task, what they're best known for. Luna - or rather, Luna's assistants - have scheduled you some interviews with people who are behind on their loan payments.
[ MECHANICS ] Roll 1d100 and see how well you've fared. You may have two clients a day. 01 - 15 - The person you've been instructed to speak to is a young teenager who keeps crying everywhere. It's a little flustering to try and talk when someone is sobbing on your shoulder...needless to say. Luna simply hands you a tissue to figure things out, and you have snot on your shoulder. ( fail )
16 - 30 - A set of triplets has arrived to claim their reasoning for being behind on their small business loan. All of them are quite cheerful, but sometimes too much talking gets confusing; fortunately, you can sort through all of their yammering in order to get them to pay a portion back. Luna is satisfied. ( pass )
31 - 45 - Your patron looks so much like someone you know that it throws you off your game for a few seconds. Luna seems to think this is quite normal; maybe it's just one of those weird doppleganger coincidences. Either way, you're comfortable speaking with them. ( pass )
46 - 60 - You spend the appointment reminiscing with an elderly patron who just seemed to want to talk. Luna, although still quiet, seems strangely satisfied with this outcome and gives you one of their rare nods of approval by the end. ( pass )
61 - 75 - You flirt your way to getting a payment with your patron. Or, if you're not good at flirting, you're good at persuading somehow. They flirt back, but alas, it's not meant to be. Still, they're good natured about it, and so are you (hopefully). ( fail )
76 - 90 - Your patron has a puppy that you get completely distracted by - whether in a good way or a bad way, regardless, you completely forget your original goal.( fail )
91 - 100 - You meet with a high profile client who is as smooth as a shark and as cool as a cucumber. Nothing you say and do can ruffle them, but in spite of this, Luna is satisfied when you managed to skillfully get them to repay a portion of their owed money. ( pass )
[ UPON COMPLETION ]
