4 - There are a few mishaps, including one where you mistake the vice president of the company for a janitor. Whoops...well, maybe he should have dressed better. Still, surprisingly, Crane seems amused by this, rather than put off. Maybe you didn't do so terribly after all... ( pass )
Crane, the person whom Cain was already familiar with given his attempt at loan sharking was giving him a new job. This was seemed to be a step down compared to the previous job but Cain would take it. He was here after all so there was no backing out now. Besides his Priestess was waiting for him and expecting him to do well.
A four hour shift, whatever that was, was assigned to him. The job details were a little vague but Cain got the idea fast as he stepped up to the counter. Already though he was thankful that this was a quieter branch of the company. Quiet was nice, it let Cain have time to think.
When his first customer arrived Cain was a little stiff in delivery but managed to handle it, by his third he was a natural. Or at least in his own opinion he was. This opinion not being shattered as it took him a moment to figure out how to deposit half a check, and give the other half back to the waiting man tapping his foot. "Could you please...stop that." Cain commented without meaning to, the look on his face clearly annoyed and the man catching it. Said man only blushing and giving a meek apology for his behavior.
When things slowed down again Cain glanced around the area and noticed a rather bored looking man off to the side. He was a bit scruffy which lead Cain into thinking he was the janitor the others had said went missing, or more over was hiding from work. "Hey...you there..the floors need mopped." Cain called to him and peered over the counter, only then to hear a giggle behind him of did you just hear him, he totally told the vice president to mop the floor!
After a moment to apologize, and glare at an amused Crane the horseman decided it better to leave work now while the other was in a good mood. After all...he had finished the 'shift'.
