My Lord of Kaishin,
I trust this letter makes it into the right hands. Forgive me for not making my identity known, rumor of my existence has already been circulating and any proof of my existence falling into the wrong hands could be catastrophic.

I choose to reach out to you because I believe you to be more neutral than other parties I could contact, as some would call for my head and others would call for war.

I wish to speak with you about the future of this land we love, I do not have Ethen blood, but a foul creature is afoot. If you have even the smallest desire to meet with me I hear the Forest of Bellris is quite large.

Outgoing Letter

To: Head of House Kai of Kaishin.
Delivered Via Orphan Ethen boy

I hope this letter reaches you in this cold that seems to have come from some nightmare, however I hear that it is better outside of Bellris.

I will keep this as short as I can. Bellris has been attacked by the Emperor.
Councilwoman Hysteria proves to be just as much a spitfire in battle as she is with her words, some how she managed to fell one of Emperor Azazel's generals, Kerseus the Stormbreather, a general I at one point trained along side while I was in the imperial army...It saddens me in many ways to know that this strong warrior I once thought a friend decided to follow the orders of that tyrant.

From what I've gathered Kerseus burnt down several villages closest to the Capital before he himself was taken down. I do not know what Councilwoman Hysteria plans to do in retaliation, but she gave a speech that seemed to rally her people.

With war on the horizon I would dare to ask a favor of you. As soon as I am able I will fly to Kaishin with my son, yes I have a son, his existence is to remain more secret then the path to godhood. I would like for you to Foster him for a time. I believe this will be safest for him, as well as it will help him understand Ethen culture and strengthen the bond I desire to have with Ethe in this Empire I desire to create.

To: The white haired dragon lord of Phobos (Xerseis)

Dearest dragon lord,
It took quite some time to find you...you would not believe how many men exist whom are "some white haired lord that's a bit taller then me" but at the mention of your eyes it seems that someone somewhere has managed to find you.

I hope you don't hate me for forgetting your name, I've never been really good with them and we have only spoken once, so you wont hold it against me will you? So if you can remember my name I'll give you a cookie.

The war has left me lonely, so many people have gone off to fight so the tavern isn't doing as well as it use to. Perhaps you would like to keep me company for a few hours? I'll be at the Bellris-Lionis battle field for a while if you'd be so inclined, I doubt we'll be going anywhere soon.

I know that this letter will give you a very limited and short notice.
The Emperor Azazel is now cold, his son has requested an armistice and sues for peace, to spare more lives I am inclined to do so.
As Regent of Ethe I would like to petition you to attend the peace talks; that will be held on neutral ground within the Temple of Amalia. If you choose to come you are welcome to the protection of guards; however violence is strictly prohibited within the Temple of Amalia by Maude law.
Though the peace talks between the Empire and myself have been for a majority concluded, the talks between us will address the ground of which Ethe and Lionis stand upon and to address the wrongs to which the Empire has been the brunt of.
I wish for an empire once united to become whole again,

Esther Drosselmeyer, your presents is requested at the Lionis Palace at your earliest convenience within the next two weeks to speak about the position you hold within the Empire as a member of the Cadet House of the royal family and as a late imperial princess. You are welcome to bring guards with you if you feel that they are paramount to your safety, I would even suggest them as anti-drosselmeyer sentiment is rampant in the capital due to the Late Emperor Azazels actions.

If you find coming to the capital to be out of the scope of ability then I will gladly rearrange my schedule and come to meet with you and your gracious host directly at his estate.

Page Three of Letter:

Count Titanus of Titania and Etelan,

Two things have come to my attention that I believe need to be addressed. Depending on which you see as more important one can be resolved before the other. No reason comes to mind as to why either of us must travel to see the other in order to solve either of these issues unless you so wish to do so.

One of these two things would be the strange occurrence in the Ruins, I do not know what of this needs to be spoken about but it seems like something I need to be informed about for the safety of my people. I would also like to inform you that the woman that came riding into my castle is currently being treated for a missing eye, I'm not sure if you know her but she looks like she might come from Ethe. She has refused to give me a name but general descriptors would be darker skin, black hair, gold eye with one missing, came in riding a Rugen Horse.

The other of these things would be the Bank Subsidiary that you opened in Ethe without consent of the main branch, located in the capital. I have been informed that you believe the empire to be, to use kinder words then I was informed you did, waning. Even if this is what you believe you must see the predicament that comes with the bankers receiving notes from a subsidiary they neither approved nor were aware of. Before any of them can be accepted such things need to be straightened out, the faster the better.
