He didn't get it - which seemed to be the theme of this place that no human was letting on. While the humans rushed about and laughed and were giddy on what he could only assume was a contact high from various plastic seats and animals, he was left staring at the face staring back at him on a stick. It was a deformed mouse of some sort, but it's features were distorted as it smiled back up at him. The eyes, black, were made of some sort of confection while the rest was a melting product he didn't recognize. The colors were white, which made him think of calcium, but lacked the texture of it. Powered mixed with a frozen fat? Then what of the black and red colors? Dyes or natural. What was it supposed to represent or serve.
His eyes went to the various humans who had been waiting in the line behind them cry out as they eagerly picked out from the pictures on the side of the booth and then trade currency for their purchase. They were so happy, and he had wanted to see what they had all be waiting for. Instead, he was left with a now dripping face on a stick.
"Maybe it's the act of devouring the creature. Something cold for hot day but still decapitation?" He cautiously went and bite into a ear and noticed that the inside was the same color he bit into and lacked any red to signify tissue and vessels. It was cold, and he cringed at having it hit his lips and flood his mouth with a bitter cold and a vile flavor of something overly sweet and fruity.
Opening his mouth, he let it slide off his tongue and onto the ground. "We regret doing that."
He went for a eye and picked it off, putting it in his mouth before spitting it out quickly, causing a few parents to move their kids away. "Ugh! No. Not eye flavor at all. It's in our teeth!" He cried, licking his sleeve in hopes of getting the taste out. "They ruined decapitation."

Rep was oddly shy in his human guise, keeping behind Vin in a way that was uncharacteristic of the normally boisterous horseman, looking carefully over his shoulder at the weird humans and what they were focused on. He too was handed a weird thing on a stick, examining it with the same scepticism as Vin had displayed. He'd seen a lot of weird s**t in the hands of humans, when they cooked it was always all sorts of things, things that didn't make sense. This looked like just another strange human thing.
He poked it with a finger, it was cold, cold and drippy but looked like it would taste pretty good. He shrugged and licked it straight after, it was ******** hot and he was willing to try whatever. It tasted pretty ******** good honestly.
"I dunno man. I think it might be ******** narcissism." he said. "I mean I've seen this guy on a lot of the merchandise. It's like, I think they just like it and want to spread it around. They are always so ******** weird man."
He laughed at Vin's vehement reaction against it and licked his own thing again. "Decapitation is still fun." he said. "It'll never go out of fashion. But this thing is nice and sweet, I don't mind it at all. I could go with another one. They need to sell this s**t back home."
Rep wasn't quite as phased by it, though there was no doubt at all that they were being watched by everyone else around. He lowered his voice. "Uh, lets go somewhere else." he said.
