Honestly it wasn't even his minipet but he'd been sent to go find it anyway. He felt it was kind of ******** dumb honestly like, who the ******** lost a minipet in a clothing store? Anyway, it belonged to one of his kids who had managed the fantastic feat without his help at all and now he was crawling around on the floor in a shop with shop assistants giving him dirty looks as he ducked under racks of clothes and stalked through the changing rooms.
He didn't understand why there were so many clothes for sale in the Dusk anyway, when you got down to it who even ******** needed them? I mean yeah, sure, Conquest liked their outfits, that was a given, and maybe Death liked them too, but who actually needed them who actually had any ******** sense?
The pet itself was a little cat like ******** whose name he didn't know, all that mattered was that it was really ******** fast and that he couldn't ******** catch it at all.
Eventually he lost patience entirely and shifted his form, going from being a horseman climbing around the floor of the clothing store to a huge tiger stalking and prowling through the aisles. Mercifully the Dusk was a place where this particular sight wasn't of much note and simply earned him a few "watch the merchandise" comments from a conquest horseman who stood off to one side and determinedly didn't help him at all.
He was not every ******** happy about it all.
Just when he thought he had the thing cornered he spotted it sneaking out of the clothing store onto the street, its little collar jangling merrily.
"GET THE ******** BACK HERE!" he roared loudly and bolted after it.

Vin had clothes. One set, but it was tight and he was hoping that Conquest would have something more fitting and forgiving in durability and also just more loose fitting. After being told by an attendant that a male appearance meant he would be best suited for male wear as to blend in more seamlessly with the populace, Vin was left looking at shirts one by one with a pinched expression of confusion. Shopping was hard. It was easier just to tear a few scraps and make them work and once you had the clothing that worked, you wore it forever. Conquest were always the ones slipping in and out of various robes, twirling their hair up and to the sides with braids and tassels. Even their makeup changed. It seemed exhausting but he could admit there was a vast variety that never went dull when entering the Conquest floor with Noth to find his beloved.
Lifting up one shirt with a smiling dolphin and another with a skull and crossbones, he tried to figure out which one would actually fit and held them in the air to judge their character. The skulls were classic and he smiled with a fondness for the familiar, but as his eyes went to the dolphin, he thought of the relaxing oasis they had back home and it had a different set of warmth to it. This was difficult. He didn't need two shirts. They were even the same material and make.
A loud roar broke out in the shop and a small vaisel dashed beside him and out of the shop. "Minipet....here?"
And in a moment came Rep, roaring loudly as it dashed after. Leaning over, he watched the blur of fur move out into the shopping center and then hastily threw the shirts atop the rack and went after the horsemen.
