We Meet at Last

"So you knew her in college?"
"Nursing courses, yeah!"
"Will her Raevan be born soon? You mentioned their soul was just captured. Perhaps days?"
"I'm not actually sure... Never had to do a soul capture myself so I'm not sure how long it'll take! She's a pretty great person so don't worry!"
Not long after Henry and Dani's reunion, the two of them had planned a few hours together so that the new guardian could meet with Ethiriel. Getting to know other Raevans was important for getting ideas on how to take care of them -- at least vaguely -- and with Henry having offered the Sigel for babysitting, it was just as important for Dani to gauge her, herself.
Ethiriel wasn't in the slightest bit nervous for this meeting, but today she appeared to have a tic keeping her from relaxing. She remained sitting upright and proper, her hands folded over her ribbon as she listened to her newest Opera album Gabe had purchased for her. Even if she didn't understand the language, the Raevan was always taken by how much emotion was in each performance.
While his ward did that, Henry had set to clean the already rather immaculate house. Even if they were friends at some point in time, it was still a mode in him that wished to impress.
With a knock at the door, Henry bound for the hallway while Ethiriel gently pulled out her earbuds to follow suit -- though in a much more calm manner. Making sure the Sigel was out of the way, the man opened the door wide to expose his home to his guest.
"Welcome, Dani! Glad to have you here!"
Rather than bringing attention to herself, Ethiriel then bowed silently as she assumed Dani had already noticed. Her tresses pooled over her shoulders, her waves cascading down as she righted herself. She was dressed comfortably in a loose fitting sweater, but it didn't detract from her regal demeanor in the slightest.
