I love poetry and short stories, essepcially Original art from the godesses themselves. So come in sit down and enjoy an evening of poetry, and perhaps some entertainment. Post as many as you wish * The lights dim, and the curtin is pulled back. A Godess steps up to center stage to share with her sisters a work of not only her art, but her heart. *

My Brother, My Lover, and My Friend
My Love, My Brother , and My Friend Three men alone, three men separate. Three men I love, three men I would give my life for. Three men who are so different, that I am all they have in common.
My Love, My Brother, and My Friend Three men who are my all. Three men who I live for. Three men whom I care for deeply within my soul.
My love, The man I married. My brother The man who is more than a friend, more than family. My friend The man who understands me more than I understand myself.
My Love The man I live with, the man who gives me all I could ever need. The man who knows my dreams. The man who gives me love, strength, and emotion.
My Brother The man I confied in. The man I share my secrets with. The man who is dear to my heart. The man I knew before I existed in this life. The man who understands my soul.
My Friend The man who knows my heart. The man who is all I could want in a friend.
Three men alone, three men separate. Three men I adore, three men I love equally. Three men who hold my heart in their hands. My Love, My Brother, and My Friend.

Painless Love
Can love exist without pain? Does anyone love without thought of personal gain? Will love between two people last? Is it possible to overcome pain from the past?
a million shards of glass imbedded in a bleeding heart is it too late to start?
A heart left bleeding heals Painless love, are you real? As two hearts reach beyond the stars a love purer then ours blooms in the memory of lore where romances of old sleep remembering our past holding our future here at last there our hearts dance forever more on a silver sea with endless shore
I wrote this about my fiance when we first fell in love.

*raises hand lightly* I have two, if that's ok? I wrote them a few years ago when I was in high school.
"Lover's Touch" Blades of grass bending and folding beneath bare feet. The silver light dimly shining through the trees, revealing the way. A soft and gentle wind caressing through long, sun-born tresses. Chilling and cooling paled skin.
Emerald and empty eyes ever searching, mind entangled within. Treading through the unnoticed iced and snaking stream. Her feet came to rest on the opposite side, upon frosted ground, Chilling and cooling paled skin.
A few steps further would carry her to place and so she went, Gossamer gown flowing freely about slender, delicate legs. There he stood, waiting and watching with his grey gaze, Chilling and cooling paled skin.
Emerald orbs fell and faultered upon his form. A single shiver down her spine and a simple move bringing him near. Fingertips brushing temple and mind with a dark and dangerous light, Chilling and cooling paled skin.
The cold touch turned to warmth, faded eyes falling closed. A strong and sturdy arm about her waist, catching her light body From the dizzying and reeling thoughts that weaken her knees, No longer chilling and cooling paled skin.
A sudden gasp and a cry, the trusted touch taken. Eyes flying open and frightened, his form fallen upon frosted ground. Dropping to knees in the dark wood, hands dirtied and dripping, Chilling and cooling paled skin.
Trembling and tremoring, her orbs fixed on his unblinking. Frozen ground and gossamer gown damp and warm; red-soaking. There she lay beside her trusted one, sun-born tresses crimson-turning, Chilling and cooling paled skin.
Soft and silent sobs carried along the cold and disturbed air. The familiar wind caressing and stroking like a lover's touch, the one now lost. Two clear orbs seeing and unseen from aside, a bloodied trail leading, Chilling and cooling paled skin.
A broken heart shattered, shards tearing and shredding unmarred flesh. Emerald and empty eyes coming to close, seeing last her cherished one. Whimpering sigh forever and never again heard; the cold night ending, Chilling and cooling paled skin.

"A Pixie's Pleasure"
Delicate and dark lashes dampened A tiny nose wrinkling wetly Hands held out and holding drops of rain Giggling heard throughout the dreams
With a flutter of wings she flew Leaving the tiny tulip of a seat behind She wove a crossing line through the leaves Laughter passing into visions
She dove down over the pond's surface Emerald eyes brightening and smile forming A quick wink and a titter and off she sped Snickers sounding to sleeping ears
This was her world, this was her freedom Here she danced in dreams and loved in life Here she was she and joyed This is where emerald eyes beamed
This is the dream world...

I have a poem I'd like to share. I'm not much when it comes to writing thats why I'm always sharing this poem. I feel this poem was a great acomplishment for me.
Sweet Unicorn
Oh sweet Unicorn, where have you gone With your loving face and tail so long I lie on a hill under a tree's cool shade Where we stood and talked about how our world was made I run to the meadow, whenever I'm upset It calms me down, it's where we first met I think of all the good times that we've had And now that you're gone it makes me so sad I call out your name wanting a response But all I hear is an echo, only once I pray each day hoping you'll return Wanting to know each lesson you learned As each summer comes another year has passed And its sad to see me grow old so fast But you a unicorn are immortal of course I guess that's why I hate being a horse.

A childs dream
If walls could talk if streets would speak you would hear so many things.
You would hear a child laugh you could hear a childs dream you would hear a childs hope
As a child grows and learns the hope has become a tender flame that burns so low and slow
The dreams they are put away they are so deep inside they are forgotton but not lost
The voice a childs laughter becomes the words of a man and the tears of a woman
If walls could talk if streets would speak we would remember all that was said
our world would be at peace our world could have a childs love again our world would be a childs dream.

Forever mine.
Hearts a glow and winters lost together we are forever tost
The tempest of life the joining of Love together through out time, from earth and heaven above.
Eternity is just that a continuous rythum and ryme For forever you are mine.
Love me, hate me, crave me. The future together is what I see.
My heart to your heart, my soul to your soul. Past, present, and Future, we join body, mind and soul.

Wind of Souls
The wind blows through the branches of a cold, dead tree. The wind screams out its pain into the night for all to hear its misery. And on this wind all souls ride when Heaven won't take them in-- and on this wind my soul shall ride until the screaming dies.

Silent Siren Her eyes hold the ocean and the waves Her hair is the sanddunes and her hair Ornaments the occassional beachgrass. Her clothes are the boardwalk, created by man Her jewelry and piercings are seashells.
Mixxers You don't want this life you didn't choose. You didn't plan Pray not to lose. How did this decision come about? Is it genetic or do I shut my mouth? Next, please indulge us with how you learned, How you learned this is how you get burned. Tell me the story Tell me the meeting Tell me your brother and of your lovers. How is the family? How is the wife? How are the kids? Your struggle? Your strife? You're so sweet and so true Those statements come from out of the blue. Your thoughts are free As well as your spirit I wish more people would see rather than fear it.
I'll post more later

This is an untitled Halloween Story I wrote for English 10 my senior year. I've gotten quite a few good responses from it so I'm gonna go ahead and post it here.
A dark alley could be seen before her, how she got here was beyond her. All she knew was a dark hunger that she felt. A hunger she had never felt before but she knew it all too well. A young man was walking toward her from the other end of the alley with a murderous glint in his eye. But she had the upper hand; she had already decided he would be the one to satisfy her hunger. With and inhuman leap she was upon him and it was over all too soon. She stood up over her latest meal licking what she could off of her fingers.
Hearing footsteps behind her she turned to see a man in a long red coat. He had a rather large grin on his face as he pulled out a large gun from a pocket on the inside of his coat. She could barely think as he pointed the gun at her and pulled the trigger. The last thing she saw was his still grinning face.
Melusine woke in a cold sweat. That nightmare seemed all too real before her. She was grateful when it quickly faded from memory. But a piece still lingered, the grin of a gun-wielding maniac in a red coat. She shivered at the thought of it and went downstairs to the kitchen.
The morning went by rather slowly with a bowl of frosted flakes and Saturday morning cartoons. Her parents were gone for the week and weren’t returning until next Sunday. Which gave her the house to herself.
She went up stairs to clean her room, her goal for this week. By the time she was done with most of her room it was already dusk. Taking the dirty laundry downstairs she walked into the cold room that held the washing machine and dryer. Opening the washing machine she saw there was some clothing in there already, which there shouldn’t be. Pulling it out she saw it was the clothing she wore yesterday, but they were stained with blood. She remembered some of last nights nightmare and in horror dropped the shirt and pants. Looking at her hand’s she noticed some of the blood, still wet, had rubbed of onto her hands.
In a frantic rush she ran to the kitchen to wash her hands but when she turned on the faucet the water ran red. The doorbell rang but she didn’t hear it. She wanted to just run away and pray that she was dreaming. Melusine ran into the living room and collapsed on the couch her insanity wanting her to sleep.
The front door burst open and in stepped the man in the red coat. Melusine slowly looked over the couch and saw him looking in the living room.
“It took quite a while to find you… You haven’t fully awakened yet which is why you were able to escape so easily last night. But I have found your body and you can’t get away this time.” His grin never left his face but proceeded to get wider.
“What do you want with me?” she shouted. The man stepped closer, “It’s nothing personal, but I have a sworn duty to rid the world of vampires. And you just happen to be one.” He reached into his coat and pulled out the same silver gun from before. “I hate to ruin this little conversation but its time to say goodnight.”
Melusine watched in horror as he lowered the gun at her head and pulled the trigger.

Another little poem
Spirit of Nature
The wind gently stirs the leaves at my feet I look up and see you in a field of flowers Gracefully dancing to the sounds of the night You are unaware of my presence and all I can do is marvel at your innocence
Dawn approaches and the wind carries you away And suddenly the field seems empty But I will return once again in the night to watch you repeat your dance And I will marvel at the beauty that is a Faerie Spirit of Nature

I wrote this when I was 14 but it has always been close to my heart.
When Time is Lost
I heard it in the wind I saw it in the rain I felt it in the thunder as it roard across the Plain
in my hear I knew it and the tears beat down my face like rain
in my minde it was clear as day and my heart felt like it would shatter
I heard it in your voice I saw it in you eyes I felt it in your embrace and I knew it when you spoke my name
I knew there was unspeakable pain pain you tried to hide a loss so great it haunts your dreams I know it tares you up inside
you are my friend so let me help you you are my friend so let me guide you you are my friend so let me be here for you
you hear things I can not hear you see things I can only dream of you feel things I will never feel
So tell me of your pain, let me hear. Show me what you know, so I can see. let me feel whats in your heart, so I can feel.
You walk upon the sand you look upon the tide you hear the dolphins play
your laughter fills the room and your eyes shine like stars and then you remember that day of long ago and the pain returns
I walk upon the ground I watch the egals fly I listen to the trees
My laughter only a whisper my eyes twinkel like that of a candle and then I try to remember that day of long ago
I wonder where time has gone and how the days have passed unnoticed longing to be with you again and my heart begins to break like waves upon the coral rocks and winds upon the mountain clif tops
you have gone to heaven now and i have found your box of treasures old photographs and jewls pictures and letters drawn and written I thought thoes things had been long forgotten
and I lift my face toward heaven and I call out.. Mother I remember!
But time is gone and you are gone so i turn to my daughter my child and I tell her I love her
So time will not pass us and the days will not leave us unnoticed.
I heard it in the wind I saw it in the rain I felt it in the thunder as it roard across the plain. the end.

I wrote this one a while ago for my best friend on his birthday. It's the only love poem I have ever written...
Just Might
He looks at me with eyes so bright I cannot see the sun. And when he turns his gaze from me I know my day is done. He speaks to me in tones so sweet That angels surely die. And every time I reach for him I know I've touched the sky.
He just might be the night to me, He just might be my day. He just might be the death of me, I love him either way. He just might be the devil mine He just might be my saint. He just might be the life of me, But one not void of taint.
He looks at me with eyes so dark They shutter out the day And every time he looks at me He steals my soul away. He speaks to me in tones so harsh That demons circle round And every time I turn from him I know I've hit the ground.
He just might be the truth to me, He just might be my lie. He just might steal my breath from me, To sit and watch me die. He just might be pure fear to me, He just might be my dream. I just might some day wake from him, And in my darkness scream.

I love everything you all have writen. Here is another one of mine. Gwyndara My friendYou and I were closer than any other. You and I were friends for ever. I thought I knew you. I thought you knew me too. We shared our laughter and our dreams and then one night you left on silver moon beams How did this happen? I want to know. why did you go? Nothing left behind not even a good by. Please tell me why. Years have gone by I look back at how we were, and all I can do is cry. Did you hear my tears fall Did you see my heart shatter, can you see the wall. the wall that is arround my heart of cold stone, now that I am still alone. My friend you were my everything. And I face this world without you. Are the Gods kind? are the gardens of Heaven beautiful? My soul, it achs for you. Years Latter I still love you. My friend. I remember you this day. I remember your shy quiet way. I remember your laugh, your smile. I remember your love all the while. You left this world 14 years ago, taken to heaven without saying good by. Still my heart achs and I wonder why. I remember you today I remember your soft voice, like a gentle flower in May. I remember how your eyes shined like stars, in the heavens above. I remember your joy, your love. I have never forgoten you my friend Will my sadness for you ever end. You were an angel while on earth ever since your birth and then the heavens needed you and you became an angel of heaven too. Oh how I sitll love you! My friend.
