Arimathras had been caught by the most fortunate of souls as she had taken rest underneath one of the trees. She was perhaps one of the most difficult individuals to catch when you needed to find her, but exceedingly easy to locate when you simply encountered her by chance. It wasn't that she made herself difficult to find, it was just that she always seemed to be on the move. Recently she had been moving around a lot, and while she knew she had promised Destati that she would remain in the care of their Stormborn twins, she found that she couldn't quite avoid meddling in the affairs of...well...

What would she call him?

As much as she would have loved to call him her mate, she would never be so bold with one who clearly had no interest in her. Regardless, she had rather made a point of inserting herself in her son's business (and by extension, Destati's) to the point that it was probably very noticeable by now. Alas, what she hadn't anticipated during the course of this meddling, was that she would be located by one of the rare rabbits that existed within the Bahari'mtoto. This wasn't even a chance encounter either, he really had been looking for her, and he had come with a purpose.

Hm... So he wanted to know about Spectre?

She could recall the trouble lion rather clearly, he had been her first 'love' as it were, but he hadn't left quite the same mark as her current affair had. Perhaps it was simply like she had moved to him like a moth to a flame, he had been so desperate for hope and well, she had been the thing he was searching for. Or that was what she had thought until it had all blown up in her face and he had mysteriously vanished. She had only recently discovered that he had been found and even then, she didn't really feel anything except sympathy. He needed help, but it wasn't necessarily something she could give so easily.

"Why do you need such information?" she asked finally and shook her head. Though she often liked to gossip, the lioness knew all too well that some were entitled to much needed privacy.

"We're close to a breakthrough but we've sort of hit a snag," Durama replied glumly and spread his paws wide. "Peregrine thinks he might know what that is but in order to work through it, we need to start piecing together the puzzle. If it was a simple puzzle we'd be done by now but it's like trying to reassemble a million pieces right now," he confessed. "He's very broken."

"I know," Arimathras replied softly and tilted her head to the side. "But what makes you think that exposing him to such memories will do him any favours, it could do more harm than good for him to relive something he may wish to forget."

"That's the thing," Durama paused briefly and sat down, splaying his legs wide as he regarded the lioness. He became temporarily distracted by the plants sprouting and maturing around her, but quickly returned to the topic at hand. "We don't think he knows what's real, what's not, and what he does and doesn't need to forget," he explained. A small grimace lined the rabbit's lips as he turned his gaze to his paws. "We already asked Destati for aid, the Justicar gave us a glimpse into his very distant past," he added and shook his head.

...If he could forget some of that conversation, he would be fortunate.

"But in order to help lead him to the light once more, we need to be able to provide him with everything that is real," he returned his gaze to the goddess and smiles. "That in part, requires that he relive the moments he had with you. How you met, how such a relationship bloomed, and in the end... why he might have chose to leave," he waved his paw. "We know he was fleeing from 'monsters', I think I might even know what those monsters are now..."

"But?" Arimathras asked and furrowed her brow.

"But that's only the beginning of this story, we need the middle...so that we can begin to write the end," he stated gently. Perhaps he was asking too much of the goddess, Spectre had after all broken her heart (possibly) and he was asking her to relive this pain as well. Fortunately for Durama, the deity seemed to be considering his words carefully and while she might have held her peace for a considerable amount of time, she finally seemed to concede.

"I couldn't help him," she said finally and released a gusty sigh. "I thought I could, but there was just too much at stake for him," she added. "But for a time he found some form of solace, a sense of peace and tranquility that he otherwise hadn't been able to find in this world."

Another pause followed.

It was at this point that the lioness seemed to make herself comfortable and Durama was quick to mimic, unlike Destati it seemed that Arimathras was not on borrowed time and the rabbit would be graced with the full tale rather than the short version. In this tale he would find out how they had met, where they had met, and the moments in which they had shared. It would result in offspring and as they matured, would conclude with the lion departing in the dead of night while both mate and children slept. He would not be surprised to find out that Spectre had left without an explanation, leaving his mate to fret and his children without answers as he continued to flee from the monsters that only he could see.

However, within this tale Durama would be privy to several key pieces of information that he would be able to investigate further. Locations of vital importance would be revealed, 'homes' that might provide material possessions that would be utilised; and finally, a short but nonetheless valuable message.

Those he had left weren't angry, they were simply concerned.

What was clear was that Arimathras wished no ill will upon him, though in time Durama hoped that perhaps she might grace the troubled lion with an audience, if only so both might receive closure in the end. For now though, the rabbit would take advantage of the information he would gain from this and worry about the rest later...
